Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Rock

This was our first time in Rock and the house was just perfect. We were 4 adults and 5 kids including one baby. The location was excellent for the beach, for watersports, some restaurants and the ferry to Padstow. The shop is a 25 min walk away or a 5 min drive. The house itself was brilliant and the upper floor with the balcony was just perfect. (What a view!) The bedroom set up was great too and we had a wonderful time. Many fun memories made and we hope to visit again next year.

Had a super time here. Really lovely accommodation and excellent location. Easy walk down to Trevone bay which is perfect for all ages. A great base from which to explore the area. Even went to the Minack theatre which was only an hour or so away. Whole week was glorious sunshine - plenty of time spent on the sandy beach! Not needed for us but there is a lovely natural pool just back from the sea which was enjoyed by smaller children. Great communication from Benjie- would definitely stay again

Our second time at Rachael’s place and we would definitely return! The place is perfect, clean, spacious and comfortable - some of the best night’s sleep we (including 3-yr old) have had in a long time!

A lovely spacious property where we immediately felt at home. Close to the beach and Port Isaac with a short drive to Polzeath. We enjoyed sitting in the sun in the private garden and going for walks on the coastal path. We would love to stay again - many thanks Gerry.

By following the sat nav the house was easy to find. The location is ideal to use as a base to visit nearby places. There is a bus service that goes through the village roughly hourly which starts early in the morning and finishes at a reasonable time at night. We used the service quite regularly and didn’t have to use the car unless travelling further a field ,but no doubt could have used the bus for further places but there would be a time element to consider. There is a walk from the village to padstow which we took and although dry was uphill and down dale in places. Although the sign says 2 mls I think to the centre of padstow more like 2 3/4 mls. The old mill restaurant in the village is superb and a loverly setting for a meal inside or out, depending on weather. I must also say that Hollie was very helpful and accommodating with regard to our booking due to a medical situation and had to alter dates at the last minute.

Barbara's house is wonderful. It has a stunning view over Mawgan Porth beach and you can walk down to the beach via the dunes. Sitting on the balcony in the evening enjoying the view is a treat! The house itself is lovely - compact but it has everything you need. Barbara is a very responsive and helpful host. I would very happily stay again!

Stayed with a couple of friends for a night. Was a great getaway ! - Wonderfully modern bathroom. - Very comfortable bed. - Large sofa bed - SO peaceful and quiet. Only thing to be aware of is the WiFi speed is very poor - but we found this fair enough, as the place itself screams solitude and nature! Great stay! Will hope to return!

The studio was a great base for us. Excellent location, short walk to shops, Co op supermarket, pubs & restaurants. Parking space outside the door. The apartment was equipped with everything you could need and a nice comfy bed, plenty of wardrobe & drawer space too. Good communication with Debbie. The milk & cookies were much appreciated, thank you.

Perfect location in the middle of Padstow. Few minutes stroll to harbour and central for everything in the village. Nice clean and tidy accommodation, ideal for single person or couple.

Spacious flat with absolutely beautiful view. Friendly and responsive hosts and lovely and clean place, with lots of space for our 4 person family. Parking space is a bonus and very convenient. Thanks for making my 40th birthday so special! We love this part of Newquay and have stayed at Crest Court (in various airbnbs) for 5 years now every May - it’s great.

We had a lovely 5 night stay here, and it was everything we needed. The apartment is beautiful, light, comfortable, well equipped, and has a wonderful view of Portreath Beach. Katherine was very helpful and responded very quickly to messages. We would stay again.

As soon as we walked through that door we could see the beautiful sea and we were just in awe of the place. The location is 10/10, the apartment is stunning and so quiet and we didn’t really notice that we had neighbours which was lovely and made it feel private which is what we look for in a place. Cornwall as whole as well is just stunning and we HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone looking at it. We have found a special place and we will hopefully come back again and again. This is our happy place. We were so sad to leave as we had such a beautiful holiday. A lot of special memories made. The parking was very good, covered and easy to use, self check in is favourable, the checking in and out time is reasonable and the communication was very good. The train is so useful and we actually enjoyed watching that go by, the walking is amazing, the beach is beautiful, the views from the window and patio are amazing. The sofas and bed are very comfortable which is rare. Thank you so much.

We had a lovely week in Emily & Matt's flat. We liked that you can walk into town but also to Fistral beach & quieter areas. Great views - I enjoyed relaxing, reading in the bay window. I treated myself to swim & breakfast at Headland hotel (special offer).

Modern spacious flat in a great location. The facilities were excellent and we appreciated the private car park. We would definitely stay here again in the future!

We were lucky enough to spend seven days in Beth's beautiful apartment. Now we say goodbye with a smile and a tear in our eye. The tear in our eye says "time to say goodbye," even though we don't want to leave just yet. The smile in our eye expresses our enthusiasm for our stay. We received a warm welcome; we lacked nothing. Beth has thought of everything. The apartment is a dream. And so is the view from the terrace. You could spend hours there, unwinding and watching the hustle and bustle on the beach. If you don't know Perranporth, you should definitely visit this little town. But even if you want to come back again, you should let this accommodation convince you. Lovely short peaceful stay in this self contained flat. Beautifully finished to a high standard and super clean and tidy. We would be more than happy to visit here again. Highly recommended.

We had a lovely one night stay here. The kitchen was well stocked with tea/coffee and the doughnuts were a delicious extra! The bed is super comfy with soft bedding which makes for the perfect spot to watch tv! Jon was also quick to reply and extremely helpful. Would definitely recommend staying here!
