Heustreu is located at the foot of the Rhön, ideal for beautiful hiking and cycling tours. In winter, there are also opportunities for skiing/sledding and cross-country skiing. The nearest town of Bad Neustadt is about 6 km away. Enjoy the tranquility of country life without having to sacrifice modern comforts.

Idyllic farm right on the Fulda

Our farm is located in the middle of the Rhön Biosphere Reserve in a quiet part of Sandberg on a 7,000 sqm property. The Fulda flows directly through our farm and invites children to splash and play. In 1998, the former farm was completely renovated, with a lot of love for detail. In the garden you will find sun loungers, hammocks, a barbecue corner as well as a frog pond and a children's play area with a swing and a stilt house, so there is enough space to relax and unwind.

Old village church

The former village church is located in a 1,600 square meter property in the middle of the village of Erbshausen-Sulzwiesen. Surrounded on all sides, it is an ideal retreat without being "out of this world." In the morning sun in front of the sacristy, on the church wall in the afternoon or in the evening under fruit trees. In the lower tower room on the couch, in the upper tower room – the former bell room – while watching the birds. There is always a nice place.

The modern and private Tiny House spans over 33 square meters and features a spacious terrace with a magnificent view of the green surroundings. Situated near the Rhön, just a few meters from the Brend River as well as shopping facilities and bike paths, this Tiny House offers the perfect blend of experience and optional amenities. After I inherited the farm from my grandfather, one thing was clear to me, "this farm is not for sale." Thus, together with my parents, I completely renovated the farm and created a modern furnished vacation home. In his honor, it has become "DER HENKELHOF," where we would like to extend a warm welcome to you. By "we" I mean my parents Heri & Ilona and me.
