We have tried to recreate the hospitality of Benedikte - the last one who lived in the old house - in this modern and completely newly built farmhouse on the edge of the yard at Svindland farm. Hi! We have a very cozy, clean, safe and quiet two room, basement apartment with its own entrance available. It is near beautiful countryside but still close to Stavanger city center. It is also a stone throw away from the university (200 meters) and therefore perfect for short-term students. Just bring your own toothbrush! But, if you forget it, we have a grocery store within 300 meters open to 23:00 from Mon to Sat.

The boathouse is brand new and part of the seaside house environment towards Soknasundet. There is a jetty with fishing opportunities. Buildings and furniture are made by the renowned architect Espen Surnevik. If you come by boat there is plenty of room for the boat at the jetty. The boathouse is part of Sokn Gard (see fb) which has many animals you can visit, and the farm has 5 km of hiking trails.
