Absolutely perfect stay! The house was cozy, clean, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The hot tub was the highlight—so peaceful and private, surrounded by nature. We loved unwinding there after a day of exploring. Communication with the host was super easy, and check-in was a breeze. If you’re looking for a quiet escape with a touch of luxury, this is the spot. Already dreaming of our next trip back!

This cutesy cabin was just around the corner from great wine, kayaking, and a fun little icecream shop! It was next to a road tho, so a little less private and we had to be careful our dog stayed close, but loved the accessibility anyway. Super recommend visiting!

We had a great time at this cute little renovated ranch. It was very clean and fresh! They supplied fresh bread and coffee k-pods - nice touches! Good location for vineyards and hiking! We did ask for a late check out and they were not able to accommodate without a charge, that was disappointing, but they did disclose that ahead of time.

Our group loved this stay in Wintergreen! Extremely accessible to the slopes, with multiple amenities included within our airbnb. Plenty of room for everyone, and plenty of supplies from top to bottom - if you forgot something, chances are the house has it! However, we found that the hot tub was not clean prior to our stay, and the bathroom floor heat was unavailable. Overall though, very nice stay and would recommend to others!🙂

This place is nice. It is very quiet, private and peaceful. If you want a place to get away and relax, this is the place. We had a very enjoyable time and got in some hiking not too far away too.

What a beautiful home and location! Close to lots of fun places while still being quiet and private. It was so clean and everything we needed for cooking meals and relaxing in the evenings after exploring! Thanks for a wonderful stay! Highly recommend!

What an amazing house! Plenty of living spaces to just hang out and connect with your family and friends. Great kitchen with everything you need. More than enough bedrooms that are very nicely sized. The decor is very clean, welcoming, and thoughtfully planned. We LOVE the yard space with two fire pits. Lastly the hosts made us some homemade sour dough bread that was amazing. Nice touch. Our group was going to downtown Charlottesville to do some activities and the drive was about 30mins, which was just right. This is the best bnb I’ve stayed in, hands down.

Great stay, just what we needed. would recommend coming well equipped, it's remote and not the most well stocked rental.

The cabin was a wonderful, easy space to stay for a quick weekend to the mountains. We very much enjoyed the beautiful views from the windows and the porch.

This 3 night trip was part of our 2 week trip visiting family in VA. We chose this house because we have a small dog and thought the yard would be good to have. The house was clean and the kitchen was very well stocked. Amy even left a nice little surprise for us. She answered all our questions and was very helpful. We enjoyed walking to the coffee house and being minutes from our son.

My family stayed at this cottage during our wedding at UVA. This place offers a secluded, quiet and picturesque hideout while still being a mere five minutes away from university grounds. The interior is cosy and well-equipped. Besides the front yard there is a very pleasant, private outside patio area too, filled with birdsong. The cottage is also close to Oakhurst Café, which is a convenient breakfast option. The hosts were helpful, responsive, and flexible, showing great hospitality.

Delightful, cosy cottage with all we needed, ideal for a couple in a quiet neighbourhood very near central Charlottesville. Easy parking on the drive and with outdoor sitting space front and rear. Comfortable living room and bedrooms. Washer/dryer located in the basement but manageable. Hosts very responsive.

Eli’s Pink Cottage was a delightful place to stay! It’s absolutely charming and so interesting. We really enjoyed looking at all the art and creative touches. A lot of love and thought was put into this cottage! It also felt quite spacious and very comfortable with everything we needed. The location was perfect as we were attending a concert at the John Paul Jones arena which is only a mile away. Although we drove because of weather, it appeared to be easily walkable. Eli was so very accommodating and attentive; a wonderful host! We will definitely stay here again when we come to town. 5 stars all the way!

We came into town for a graduation at Liberty University. The house is on a dirt road well off the beaten path (which I love). It was a very beautiful area, very peaceful even with neighbors nearby. We were delighted to find that the host gifted us a 6 pack of Bold Rock Cider, which oddly enough is my favorite cider (I’m gluten free). Everything was clean, with the exception of the inside of the fridge. My kids played their hearts out running around the yard, swinging, roasting marshmallows. My only complaint is the tiny showers, but I’m claustrophobic 😂😂 otherwise, we had a wonderful stay and would stay again!

This was a perfect place for a peaceful getaway. The fireplace was a treat, and we had a very cozy stay. It's hard to add to what other reviewers have already said, but here is one detail: on a winter's night, when the moon is down and the sky is clear, the stars are fantastic! Because there is no nearby light pollution, the view from the deck of the night sky is deep and brilliant.

Had a great stay. The place is just like the photos, if not better. No surprises or issues. The one suggestion I have for the owners is to add a smart TV so guests can stream Netflix, etc. Currently there is a tv that has cable and it has an hdmi cord, but unless you’re traveling with a laptop it’s not very helpful (most of us travel with phones, tablets). Besides that, everything was excellent and we enjoyed our time here and would stay here again.

Claudia’s place was spotless! Beautiful views right from the property. Loved the Firepit in the backyard. Dogs had a great time too! Great location with lots to do in the surrounding areas, we followed recommendations in the guide book in the Airbnb, everything was fantastic. We visited Bonfire Burgers & Bourbon in Amherst, Mt Pleasant for a hike, and Ankida Vinyards. We had 4 people and 2 dogs and the space was perfect. Highly recommend!

Annie went above and beyond to make sure that our stay was exceptional. She is a wonderful host! The home is spacious and perfect for our family. We would definitely stay here again.

What a lovely cottage! We stayed for three nights and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. For a one bedroom house, it’s surprisingly spacious, the kitchen is well stocked, the bathrooms are modern, and the king bed is comfy. Bonus points for the soft and luxurious bath towels, as well as for the white noise machine in the bedroom. When the weather cooperated, the outdoor spaces allowed us to enjoy the beautiful scenery surrounding the cottage. There is the covered front porch with rocking chairs, the covered back patio with table, chairs and grill, and then the fire pit in the backyard with a screen overhead to protect from the sun. More bonus points: the hosts put freshly cut flowers in vases on the porch and patio! The hosts were quick to respond when we had car problems and it was good to know they were next door if we needed anything. We look forward to returning in the future!

The Peony Cottage was absolutely PERFECT for our visit to Charlottesville. We stayed with another couple to visit to the beautiful wineries. The location was ideal and made it easy to plan our itinerary to all of the places we wanted to visit. The interior was gorgeous with a mix of modern and historic Virginia accents. We met Austen the first day and he went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. We plan on visiting again next year and will 100% stay at the cottage again. Our first AirBnB experience with the whole family. Have to say hope other hosts can keep up! 😊 Everything was perfect! House was clean, smelled amazing, view was beautiful and surround area was surreal! 💕

My husband and I enjoyed our stay. Hosts were very accommodating for my service dog and understanding. Sometimes it’s an uneasy feeling when people stare and whisper about veterans service dogs. It can make us not want to leave the house. It felt nice and inviting here. There was no judgement and the locals were very welcoming to dogs in general. The cabin is extremely comfortable and cozy. Would stay here again.
