The cottage was a peaceful and comfortable accommodation in between tournament games at the nearby Buncombe County Sports Complex. It was also within a ~15 min drive to downtown Asheville for some great eats and shopping. The place was very clean, with comfortable beds, and all the amenities you would need for a home away from home. Would stay again!

I really loved staying in Liz’s cottage. It was so peaceful and private. A perfect home base for our girl’s trip to the North Carolina mountains. The little stream that runs behind the cottage was one of our favorite parts. A great place to have some quiet time in the morning. Liz was also so responsive and helpful to the questions that I had. I cannot recommend enough.

Wes was an exceptional host — thoughtful, warm, and genuinely welcoming. He checked in to ensure we had everything we needed and greeted us with such kindness upon arrival. The home itself was incredibly well-appointed, with every detail considered. We were greeted with fresh flowers, a personalized welcome sign, and even treats for our dog — such a heartfelt touch that set the tone for our entire stay. Wes has truly created a space that feels both relaxing and special. We look forward to returning.

The cabin was lovely and we had a great time there . Communication with owners was easy and prompt. The cabin is hidden in the mountains , but easy to find and with good access . We felt safe . The cabin is 100 years old but beautifully renewed , without taking the feeling that you are in a traditional mountain cabin . We also enjoyed the nearby community and the kind people living in the area . We loved the stay and we plan to return .

It was lovely, the communications with the manager were perfect and we enjoyed our stay there very much. Linens could use a little refreshing, however.

This place is very comfortable. I was looking for a relaxing and quiet retreat. This was it. Even though it is next to the hosts house they gave me my space. In fact I never even saw them. The tub is amazing and the kitchen is well appointed. Top score. IF you are thinking of staying here you should.

The Hobbit House was wonderful. We wanted to have a secluded trip away and were a little skeptical knowing the property was on a working farm. We were very happy with how secluded we felt and how the owners gave us space to enjoy their beautiful property. Asheville was close enough for us to hit a couple of the breweries and have dinner. The hot tub was perfect and the bed was comfortable. Our pups enjoyed the ability to run around in the fields. Jamie also keeps a nice walking path mowed that leads to the creek. We already want to book for next year.

The house is a very cute out in the mountains! The creek in the backyard and the sauna are easily the highlights!

We had a really wonderful stay at Jesse Jill’s place. There are a few other units, which is cool just in case you need one for you and for another couple. There is a shared laundry access with vaccum and other cleaning supplies. Nice fenced in yard for the dog to explore. Candler is right outside Asheville and about an hour south, east and north of cool hiking and state parks. Can’t wait to come back in the fall for more hiking and family fun adventures 😍

What a wonderful place to get away! My husband and I so enjoyed the home and received much needed re centering and grounding. Great location and home. Will be back.

It’s more beautiful than the pictures show! We loved our long weekend in this adorable house. The owner has put a lot of thought into the details and ensuring all your needs are met. The heated master bath floors are something I never knew I needed in my life. The sauna and hot tub were extremely clean. The layout of the whole house was perfect for multiple kids and couples. Our kids love the game room and how easy it was so play the board games and arcade games. The green space in the backyard was big enough for hours of play as well. The linens were incredibly soft, more than the average rental house for sure. We would love to stay here again. I’m already miss the breathtaking view.

This property was literally Heaven on earth. The view is amazing, the property was beautiful, clean and comfortable. I didn't want to leave. We will definitely be back with our dog as the proper is very dog friendly.

I rented Leslie's space while I was in the area for 5 days to attend a training event. They gave detailed instructions about how to find the place and get in, but I will admit I tried to go to the other unit first. I quickly figured it out and got in to the correct place since they are side by side. So, if that happens don't get too worried! The kitchen is nicely stocked so I could cook my own meals. Some of the most common spices, etc were on hand and the hosts kindly left a mini bottle of wine and a couple other drinks in the fridge which I took advantage of. 😊 There is a great big comfy bed. And lots of space in the closet plus a few drawers so I could unpack all my clothes for the week. For a small space, they have everything you need---perfect for a single person, a couple, or even a parent with a younger child.
