Holiday rentals with lake access in Ryedale District

Stayed for 2 nights as we were seeing family and wanted to stay in a familiar area! The house was beautiful, well equipped and in such a nice location. Would definitely stay again 🤩

Great place to stay and a fantastic host

Nichola wrote clear instructions for our arrival. House is a beautiful, modern, spacious, detached house in a quiet picturesque village with a beautiful view over countryside. Lovely large private garden with seating area. Nichola had welcomed us with a food pack of milk, butter, fresh bread & jar of jam, biscuits - coffee & tea also available. Kitchen well equipped for staying in & cooking- very modern kitchen & appliances. Bathrooms also very modern & showers were great. House had everything we needed for the weekend- kids loved the games room. House is spotlessly clean & linen & towels very new looking & clean. Beds very comfortable. We only stayed for a wedding so didn’t really explore the local area but there looks to be lots to do & lovely walks in the area. In summary- excellent welcome, house in beautiful country location, modern amenities & spotlessly clean, would be very comfortable for a family to stay for more than a few days. Thoroughly recommend accommodation & host.

The Mistal was the perfect getaway for us, our 1 year old, dog and their grandparents. An idyllic and peaceful location, the grounds are well kept and the horses and sheep were a lovely addition for our little one to enjoy. The accommodation was clean and tidy and the kitchen was well stocked for cooking in. We would highly recommend Jeff and his lovely property to anyone.

This was an amazing place - we felt right at home. We were four families travelling to do do Yorkshire 3 peaks and chose Masham as our base. The place was just ideal and the house was amazing and extremely well kept with everything that one could imagine being around. Carolyn and Steve are true super hosts and were extremely proactive and helpful. Cant thank them enough. Would love to stay here again for sure.

Nick's place is a gem. A beautiful old cottage which is clearly loved and cherished. Tastefully appointed, furnished and decorated. Good sized bathroom and excellent shower. Large bedroom and lounge with space for our stuff. Kitchen had all we needed too. Garden is immaculate. Such a peaceful location. Nick's messages were helpful, informative and friendly.

We have just returned home from this lovely air bnb. The setting is lovely, the caravan has everything you need. We were all very comfortable. the garden is completly secure - so perfect for our children and dog. The wild life was lovely. Robert is a great host. We were visiting family so we only used the caravan as a base to sleep and eat breakfast. It's a shame we didn't get to spend more time there to explore the surrounding areas as there are some lovely walks nearby. We would absolutely return again.

Alan was a really helpful host, very good comms, the house was ideal for my needs, felt safe & comfortable, and very good value (esp considering the crazy prices the hotels were charging at that time!)

Had a fantastic few days in Cleethorpes visiting from Australia to see family. Gill's place was lovely and couldn't have asked for more. Highly recommended.

Nice and exceptionally clean flat, smells nice too. The place looks better than the photos. Kitchen facilities is a bonus. Has washing machine but very noisy, i thought itwas gong to explode! We did not use it again. But only minor thing to complain about. 2 teenagers with us and loved their stay. Surely a home away from home but still having that on holiday feeling . Pet friendly but look really clean and no dog smell nor hairs to be seen. Quiet, very clean and beautiful neighborhood. Good faciliities. Pool and gym free with a pass provided by the host. Need to book the tennis and archery in advance. Walking distance to a clean beach. We walked towards the Filey promenade which is about 30 to 45 minutes. Highly recommended and will come back again.

What a beautiful place. Simon the host was always in touch before our stay to answer any questions we had and also throughout our stay making sure everything was ok. Nothing was too much trouble. The accommodation is amazing and the setting absolutely beautiful. The accommodation provides everything you would need for a very comfortable stay. The property is private and quiet yet transport links are on the doorstep. I would highly recommend this accommodation to anyone. It was just perfect for us.

Great dog friendly accommodation that was still super clean. In a fab location with easy and plentiful parking on a site we have never been to before but wouldn't hestitate to go to again, well maintained and great access to beach & Cleveland way for lovely walks into Filey and beyond. Very responsive & helpful host! Thank you

Great little apartment. just what we needed for an overnight stay. Tea and Coffee a nice touch. previous reviews mentioned lack of a bathroom mirror, this has now been rectified. heating easy to adjust as required. it is on a busy road, but this would really only affect people staying on the sofa bed in the lounge area. 5min walk to local pub and 15min walk to nearest village. would stay again.

A really lovely apartment, perfectly located on Yarm High Street. Gareth was a brilliant host, very responsive, the apartment was just as in the pictures would 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ recommend & will definitely book again 🎄

myself and my family had a lovely new years stay in jools' caravan, it was nice and clean and had a very homely feel, there was an xbox, games, books and cd's which went down very well with the kids, the beds were very comfortable and the extra cushions and blankets on both the beds and settees made it feel really cozy, there was everything you could possibly need from, pots, pans, utensils to even plastic kids plates, bowls and cups, which were very useful for my autistic children. The site itself was well kept and looked lovely, obviously it was all closed up for the season but we will definitely be back when all is open again, and will definitely be staying in one of jools' caravan's she has on the site.

Our stay at the Piggery Barn was absolutely perfect. It is exactly as it looks in the photos and immaculate. The kitchen was well equipped. The walk-in shower is wonderful. The whole place is very light and spacious and has been renovated beautifully. Mel and Chris have done an excellent job. It was a 10 minute walk into the town itself with plenty of walks around the area. I don't think anyone would be disappointed staying here, we certainly would if we are down that way again.

Such a lovely place. The hosts thought of all the extra little details and communication was great. Welcome drink, bread, eggs and milk were a very nice extra touch. It’s actually even nicer than it looks in the pictures. Walkable pub/restaurant so no cooking was required but a well equipped kitchen if you do want to cook. A tablet that explained how everything operated as well as things to do in the local area. A quiet and relaxing place that I would definitely return to.

This cottage is perfect. We have been coming to the Bay for more than 10 years now and Jill's accommodation is as good if not better than all of them. The Suntrap patio is outside very private, the kitchen is a great size as are the bedrooms. Having 3 bathrooms is also a massive advantage. Taking all this into account plus the extremely competitive price, we will coming back very soon.

Beautiful cottage with lovely views and private location. Everything was super tidy and clean and Sylvia had put some really nice touches in there to make you feel welcome and at home. It had everything you could need and was a really relaxing place. Would definitely recommend.

From our arrival to our departure, Lucy ensured any questions we had were answered so quickly. The property is lovely, very very clean and so well equipped, the bathrooms are beautiful, as is all of the property. I would highly recommend staying here, and thank you Lucy, you were the perfect host, we will return again in the future.

Lovely stay. The only thing was the swimming pool needs modernising but the private access to the beach makes up for it. Nothing the owners can control.

Janes cottage is very cute and comfortable. Beautiful walks very close to cottage . And Northallerton is very close only 15 minutes up the road . But if you are looking for peace and quiet then Jane’s cottage is the perfect little hideaway . Jane always gets back to you very quickly if you send her a message . 😊⭐️⭐️⭐️🌟🌟

A fabulous cottage with quality furnishings and a well equipped kitchen. I live locally and booked for some overseas guests to a family wedding. They loved the Yorkshire cottage experience and had a very comfortable stay. Debbie's communication was excellent. She really cares about her guests. Thank you.
