Casa Stella is in the heart of Ameno, a small village above Orta San Giulio. A private courtyard gives you the opportunity to stay outdoors in peace and cool off in a large tub. Gaze over stunning 180-degree views of islands on Lago Maggiore from the expansive, floor-to-ceiling windows of this lovely, 230-year-old rustic stone villa. Antique furnishings perfectly complement the historic architecture. The house is on 3 floors so a fair bit of walking up and down stairs is required. The main bedroom is on the upper floor and the 2nd bedroom (two single beds) and bathroom on the lowest floor. Ideal for couples and families but not for the elderly or groups of 4 adults.

Domus9 is an apartment on the ground floor of Domus Cusiana, a residential complex with a beautiful sunny garden, swimming pool and views of the lake and the Sacro Monte di Orta. It is the only apartment directly overlooking the common pool, it was built in an old cellar, so it is a bit dark but in summer it is the coolest of the complex!!! It has a large private porch where you can relax and enjoy outdoor lunches and dinners.
