Nice little place. Very quiet. Great for shops, railway and main road. Easy parking.

Patrick's place is very cosy, clean and fully equipped. A few steps to the train station and bus station, you can get whatever you want around the house. Patrick and his wife are super hospitable and friendly. One night I dried my clothes in the yard, because the wind was too big, so my clothes fell. Patrick and his wife noticed that getting up in the middle of the night helped me to reinforce the clothes on the rope. Thank you so much again. If I have a chance, I will absolutely go back to visit again. Thanks again!

A quirky and very comfortable base to explore other parts of Scotland. Bed was comfy and had fab nights sleep. It was as written on the tin. Got a warm welcome from Patrick. The location is perfect as it's so quiet. Not far from shops and places of local interest like the Alloa Tower.

Diane has a lovely bnb. It is one of the nicest bnb’s I have stayed at. She has a lovely room and a lovely kitchen. There is also a well set up and furnished tv room to relax in. Diane was very quick to reply to messages. I highly recommend this bnb.

The house‘s location is in the not large village, about 25-30 minutes by bus from Stirling. The nature around is very beautiful. It is fully equipped and comfortable for guests. The host is welcome and helpful. Everything was fine :)

Great house, looks beautiful and has everything you need. This is more of a house share system than staying in someone's spare room, although Diane is around. I was happy with that. The room was spacious and spotless. I would definitely stay again.

Nicki's place in Alva, Clackmannan, is a gorgeous oasis of calm with a boutique feel. It is beautifully decorated throughout whilst also feeling comfortable and relaxing. The property is cosy with enough space to relax comfortably in the shared living room, or have a meal at the kitchen breakfast bar. The guest room is comfortable and spacious enough for single traveller or couple, with lovely touches, including scented candles, bedside lamp, a cosy blanket, and soft fluffy towels. The bathroom has a shower with option of rainforest or standard shower heads with good water pressure. Nicki is a friendly and bubbly host who could not have done more to make me feel welcome, whilst also very respectful of my personal space. The location is easily accessible by car or transport links (buses and trains). Local food stores and restaurants are a short walk, with more options a few minutes drive into Alloa, or Bridge of Allan, or Stirling. I would highly recommend Nicki's place for your next trip to or near Stirling. You'll be glad you stopped by.

Nicki has her own room and shares the bathroom with her. Everything was very clean. Nicki was very friendly, the communication worked great!

A very well decorated room with a very large bed. The shared bedroom is adjacent to the room. Everything is very modern. Street parking is easy and free. The breakfast was continental and laid out in the morning for early departure. The bathrobes were a nice touch. Good communication with host before and during stay.

Great communication from Marilyn. If your a very light sleeper take ear plugs, not a huge issue for normal sleepers which I'm not. Very clean and comfy. Wanted to take the settee home with me.

This is just like a home from home. The lodge is sparkling clean and very cosy. This is ideal for one or two people and Marilyn is a great host as far as communication and advice about the area goes.

The lodge is the perfect place for a couple. The location is great for example vitising Stirling for a day. Everything you need is close by as long as you are traveling by car. The accommodation has everything it needs and I would definitely recommend it. Only thing if I needed to mention something negative is that a main road is just a few meters away. But that did not bother us too much. Thank you so much fur having us Marilyn!

A lovely wee lodge. Warm, cosy, clean and comfortable. Marilyn is welcoming and approachable. We felt quite at home for the few days stay at the lodge.

Would recommend this place to anyone visiting Scotland for a short trip. Stirling is beautiful with lots to do around the area and its not far from Loch Leven and Edinburgh. The house was lovely and clean with comfy beds and everything you would need!

Andrew's place is a great base for exploring Central Scotland, really close to the main sights, lots places to eat and drink within walking distance. Andrew’s listing is exactly as described. The studio itself had everything we needed to stop and spend a few days planning the next part of our travels. The washing facilities were a huge bonus as were the cooking facilities.  It is a small, clean and homely space on the ground floor of the owner’s house with a garden. The bathroom is very small but it was super clean which was very important for me! Andrew and Olivia were really quick to respond and easy to communicate with. I wouldn’t recommend it for a group of friends as it is a little space but an ideal place to stay for a couple or close relatives who are looking for a nice place for a few days in a reasonable price.

We loved staying here in Clackmannan over the New Years break. It’s a nice small town and taxis to and from Alloa were very cheap. The flat is above a pub but it wasn’t noisy and we only heard a little traffic noise in the morning. We spent most of our time in Alloa or Stirling and would recommend trying Coopers & the Old Brewery in Alloa. William was a great and friendly host and everything in the flat worked perfectly ☺️ Thanks again.

I was in Clackmannan with work, but I had time to visit the most beautiful areas of Scotland, the location is excellent, even on the ground floor there is a bar with billiards and very good beer, I photographed the surroundings which are wonderful: Clackmannan Tower, from Alloa, from Stirling and many other wonderful places, nearby you will find the wonderful Scottish cows that know how to pose very beautiful! The hosts are wonderful and offered all the comfort, the house is very beautifully decorated with great taste! Thank you very much to the hosts and I will be back soon is wonderful!

Stylish décor and very clean

William was an amazing host nothing was too much trouble, we had a tiny problem which he sorted out immediately for us. The apartment was stylish, clean, spacious and modern. Everything you need is provided. Best of all it was reasonably priced. This was our second accommodation we had used from William. Both were amazing. We would definitely recommend William. And definitely be booking again with him.

My stay in this house has been great, the beds are comfortable, the heating is perfect, it has milk, juice, cereals and some cookies for breakfast, and the best thing of all is that you don't have to share the bathroom.

Lee was a fantastic host. Unfortunately he was away during my stay but was easy to get hold of and had accommodated for breakfast and all beverages which was a lovely touch. The space was extremely clean and tidy and the location is beautiful - you only have to walk out of the front door to see the views! I'd recommend staying to anyone, it's set up for all ages.

Lee was excellent to communicate with! He took our booking on the same day we contacted him, last minute and with such promptness! His space is lovely and safe, with touches of local pamphlets and the goodies! This place is located near enough to Stirling for quiet and convenience with free parking. We had a rental car.

Great location in a cute small village!

The owner has gone to great lengths with cleanliness and comfort in his cottage. Centrally situated so very handy for local shops & takeaways. Would use again.

The accommodation is well furnished and ideally located to visit Sterling. Edinburgh is also not too far away by car.

My husband and I stayed at William's cottage over Christmas as we were visiting family nearby. The place was perfect for what we needed, the bed was comfy with clean sheets and towels. The bathroom and kitchen were well equipped with toiletries and tea/coffee etc. We were greeted on arrival and received a welcome gift of some mince pies. The living area is comfortable and clean with lovely decor and a nice Christmas Tree. We would highly recommend William's place for a stay in Tillicoultry.

Perfectly peaceful, spacious hideaway in an idyllic, convenient location.

Pascale is a great host and we have stayed at Shooting Lodge Cottage now a couple of times. Very good location for touring Fife and not that far from Edinburgh (about 50 minutes via the new Bridge). Warm and comfortable with an excellent new shower room. Really good to find somewhere to take our dog also with enclosed yard and nearby woodland and other walks nearby.

The Shooting Lodge was the perfect short break getaway for our family. Clean and tidy. Great communication from Pascale. Would recommend to others as a bolt hole to explore Fife.

Beautiful quiet cottage out of the hustle and bustle of mainstream tourism but an excellent base from which to launch your adventures. Pascale has some great tips for travellers.

Just like the other reviews state, great host at a lovely gem of a cottage that is conveniently close to civilisation yet feels very remote.

Really lovely private cottage, close to owners house but not intrusive. Set in woodlands and farmlands, lots of wildlife to be seen. Spacious 2 bedrooms. Fully equipped kitchen. Cozy living room, all you need and more for a very comfortable stay. Strongly recommended, we will be back xx

The room has a very nice view and is very comfortable. Despite a somewhat complicated arrival, we were made to feel very welcome. And what a superb breakfast !!

The welcome could not have been warmer, as we were greeted by Jasenka (Ivana’s Mum) with hot drinks. The bedroom was spacious, and the bed very comfortable with a memory foam mattress. Everywhere clean, fresh and with attractive decor. Very warm too. We had a good chat with Jasenka before going out for the evening. Next morning she had prepared a delightful breakfast, more than ample for our needs. Cereals, bread, preserves, cheese, cold meat, orange juice, pancakes and a Croatian dish of pancakes with cottage cheese and sour cream which were delicious. Our visit certainly exceeded our expectations, and we would recommend to anyone.

We were greeted by Jasenka, Ivana's mother, who was very attentive to us right away, preparing slippers for us. Heart shaped chocolates were waiting for us on the bed ☺️ (Valentine's Day) We were able to chat over a hot tea when we arrived. The room is comfortable and very clean. Upon awakening, a King's breakfast awaited us. Jasenka was very welcoming and friendly, open and friendly. A rare quality hostess! Our best Rbnb experience. Thank you very much ! We will come back !

Excellent value for money. good location for public travel, sightseeing, walking into town. Excellent takeaways and pubs near by walking distance. The breakfast provided for no extra harge was fabulous. I arrived late and it was dark and made very welcome with coffee and home made snacks. Linen smelt fresh, bed was comfortable. Only negative was no wifi which is not a bad thing at all as it gave me a reality check and life without wifi was good. I cheated used the wifi on my phone!. Very good local knowledge and able to give directions .Fabulous host and will stay again.

We used this place as a pit stop to the next destination we were going to. We arrived in the late evening and the host had made us some food (although we didn’t eat it as we had already just eaten). The host was really hospitable and also said she can make us whatever we wanted for breakfast. We left in the morning so were happy with our stay.

A perfect little spot in Alloa, easy walking distance from the train station and also Inglewood House where we attended a wedding. Arlene was so friendly and welcoming, and the place was exceptional. Clean, comfortable and quiet. We really appreciated her being flexible with our arrival time, and having access to a cup of tea in the morning.

Jamie’s place is a fantastic new build property on a quiet estate. The house is well equipped with fast Wi-fi, a great kitchen and 3 comfy bedrooms. The parking is off street and there is room for 2 cars which is perfect for larger groups. The house had everything we needed for comfy evenings after days out exploring Scotland. The location of Alloa is perfect, as it’s only an hour to Edinburgh, and around 2 hours to places like Loch Lomond, the spectacular Glen Coe Valley (the drive along the A82 is phenomenal) and St Andrews. There are a plethora of supermarkets in Alloa all within a couple minutes drive of the property. On top of this, the house was warm to come back to after a day exploring in the Scottish autumnal cold! Jamie - although away for work - was a great host, and was quick to respond to any and all queries we had and made sure that check in/out was smooth and seamless. Will look to book again upon a (definite) return trip to Scotland! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

We were travelling to Jamie’s Air B and B to attend a wedding at Inglewood Hotel-about 7 mins drive. Gorgeous house, sparkling clean, not cluttered-everything you would need where you would expect to find it. We had a baby with us there was a travel cot which was clean and easy to use-(very important after a long journey) Check in was seamless, the host, Jamie always replied very quickly as we had a couple of questions leading up to out stay, he was very helpful and polite. We were house hunting in the area and needed a base for 4 days whilst in Stirling. Duncan's place exceeded our expectations, it's sparkling clean, modern and really comfortable. Duncan is a great host and the breakfast was an amazing touch. We drove to Stirling/Dunblane every day and the drive in was easy and scenic. Definitely recommend!

Wonderful stay with a wonderful view and a terrific host, Duncan was helpful and very nice, the bedroom I stayed in had a very soft and cozy bed complete with other little tidbits, even coffee and cookies, as well as additional supplies for guests in the pantry, I had a great time in the very stylish apartment and would recommend this place to anyone who needs a stay around Stirling or Alloa

Good price/quality if you have a car!

Duncan is a very nice and helpful host who quickly responds to news. The house is very clean, there is a fully equipped kitchen and every morning is ready for breakfast. The room is clear and clean, there is heating available, which I appreciated in October. And from the window to look right on the hills beyond the city. In addition, the house is in a great location - walks up the hill and the waterfalls it is about 5 minutes and bus within 30 minutes to a lot of monuments and the castle in the area. If I have my way back to Stirling, I will be happy to come back here.

Maria’s place was an excellent getaway for us - perfect for what we needed. Lovely stylish space, clean and tidy. Maria was a great host, explaining what to do in the area and recommending local restaurants. Really enjoyed our stay :)

Maria’s place is great value, and had everything we needed for our stay. On the edge of Alva, it looks out over fields but is only a few mins walk to the village shops/pubs.

If what you're looking for is the perfect place for a relaxing get-away in a stylish, clean and comfortable accommodation, then, Matt and Rhona's cabin is exactly your match. In-site parking, lots of space, privacy and, of course, the hot tub gives it the ultimate touch. Matt and Rhona were very nice, very approachable and available. The cabin is away from the main road, so, no noises, and has its own fenced outside space. The pictures really show it how it is. Near several touristic points of interest, trails and beautiful landscapes. Good location for both relax and lay back, or engage in activities.

Absolutely fantastic trip. Matt and Rhona were extremely friendly from the moment we drove into the drive. Instantly greeted by Rhona, Matt and their daughter, we felt instantly at ease. The space itself is not done justice by the photos. The level of cleanliness and the decor was outstanding. Thoroughly enjoyed learning the history behind some of the decor on the walls. Lovely touch that we were walked through all the ins and outs by Matt with help from his fantastic assistant/daughter. Even though we are Scottish, Matt and Rhona gave us fantastic tips on what sites to see and where to find the best take-out food. Could not have asked for a better AirBnB location for our 3 day trip - will be returning as soon as possible !

Staying at The Mansion House was a wonderful experience. Our hosts Geoff and Marie created a beautiful environment in a gorgeous space. It was very peaceful and perfectly situated for a wonderful trip to Scotland.

This is a great apartment in an ideal location for Castle Campbell, the Ochil Woodlands, Sterling Castle, Falkirk and the surrounding areas. It’s really nice to stay somewhere that’s a home from home. With everything that you would want or need. Geoff and Marie’s communication throughout the booking process and the run up was outstanding. We finished our holiday in Scotland at the Mansion house. We could not wish for better! Jen received us very friendly with some homemade cookies and cake. Our stay in the house was overwhelming, the space, the gorgeous clean rooms, the big bathrooms and not to forget the nice quit area. We really really enjoyed it all.

Very clean and practical house for a family

A great Airbnb, much bigger than it appears in photos. Exceptionally clean with plenty crockery, towels etc. Within walking distance of train station, supermarkets, bars and restaurants. A large bathroom and an additional large shower room offering plenty space for our party to get wedding prepped. Wouldn’t hesitate to book again if in the area.

Definitely the place to go if you visiting Alloa or nearby lovely house, amazing price. Ceiligg is a tad low in some areas of the house so if you tall keep that in mind but definitely worth it.

Excellent place to stay

A dedicated parking spot made life very easy! Inside Patrick has made a very comfortable living space, and even provided extra folding beds and a cot (for the dinner guests who won’t leave?) Having a freezer was a luxury I did not expect. We found that we were in easy walking distance of loads of different supermarkets and the train. This was a very pleasant stay!

Absolutely fantastic flat very spacious local supermarket just around the corner . Outlet shops 6 miles away , Edinburgh and Glasgow within 45 minutes drive. A brilliant location to explore Scotland . Will book again .

This is a lovely chalet, exceptionally well equipped. Good terrace space for sitting or eating outside in summer. Plenty of parking and very close to a cycle path. Culross with it’s mediaeval houses and palace is minutes away, while Dunfermline, Stirling and Edinburgh are within easy reach.

What a lovely place Maggie has and what a lovely host she is. When we arrived late on the Sunday before Christmas we did not expect to find a fully decorated house complete with tree. But that is typical of Maggie, she goes above and beyond what you might reasonably expect. The house itself was clean, spacious and quiet; perfect for our 3 generations to use as a base to visit relatives and perfect as a place to return to for a relaxing evening. Bravo Maggie!

Maggie’s house is absolutely incredible. The photos make it look lovely but it is even better in the flesh. Superbly equipped, an amazingly cozy and comfortable space. We spent a long weekend and with the fire roaring, we had little reason to leave but didn’t feel cooped up at any point. Maggie is a great host and we hope to return for a stay when we are next visiting.

Travelling to Dunfermline or Culross, need a place to stay? Look no further that Maggie’s farm stay. The location for us was excellent, just A few minutes to Culross and about 20 minutes to Dunfermline. You want for nothing staying here, all amenities provided with plenty of space, easily sleeps 8. Thank you Maggie.

A perfect place for a relaxing getaway.. at the base of the foothills (there is a foothill walk that starts from the street your on) a lovely local community with many nice little pubs around and so close to all major amenities such as Stirling 10mins away Glasgow 30mins and Edinburgh an hour.. so so much to do and an excellent base to do it from.

After selling our house we were looking for local accommodation whilst work was carried out on our new home - Afifa's house was perfect!! Nice and spacious, spotlessly clean, all mod cons required and a fantastic neighbourly area. We extended our stay with zero difficulty and found communication with our host excellent. I never actually got a chance to meet Afifa but she had a friend waiting to welcome us. We felt very much supported through our stay. The rooms are spacious and clean. Good location, quiet neighbourhood with fantastic views of hills. I would stay again.

Spacious and great-value for money. We were visiting Scotland for a wedding and was great to be able to stay right near the venue. Afifa was quick to respond to all our messages and was very helpful. Great shower and kitchen was well stocked with crockery and utensils.

Good base for the Ochils and surrounding area Blair Drummond Safari Park not far, but avoid Stirling at evening rush hour if possible. Japanese Garden is worth a visit (through Dollar on A 91) - and excellent cakes in cafe! Accommodation provided us with what we needed for a short stay, but with small children, be aware that you may need to place delicate ornaments out of reach. Co-op is good and is only a walk to the bottom of the road. Parking did not prove to be a problem.

Afifa's place was very comfortable. There was plenty of room for the 4 of us. Everything we needed was there. I was a bit disappointed that we couldn't find a local pub that served food for dinner so we had take away one night and bought food to cook on the other 2 nights. The location was good for getting around the major tourist sights around Stirling and Falkirk.

Mark and Till are very welcoming and their space is based in a lovey part of the countryside that is definitely relaxing! I would recommend to anyone looking to escape for some quietness and relaxation! Wonderful hosts and great accommodation!

An all-round feel-good package.

I can’t speak highly enough of Cherry Tree Lodge or of Mark and Till! This is a fantastic place to visit in a great location with fantastic views. Whilst the house is stunning, more importantly the welcome you will receive from Mark is first class! He manages to perfectly balance being around enough to cater to your questions and needs with also allowing you the space to enjoy the peaceful setting you find yourself in. It was a very special weekend for my family, thank you Mark.

Cherry Tree Lodge is a fantastic place to rest and meditate. The house is located in a very calm, tranquil and peaceful place. The garden is absolutely amazing with a little pond and beautiful plants that the host takes very good care of. Inside the house, you'll see anything that you need including comfort and love. I highly recommend this place for people who want to take themselves away from the busy city life.

The concept of not having a tv was awesome. Was lovely being cut off from all of the day to day things we use.

Bucolic, peaceful, deep relaxation, the ever-changing light and views, the sounds of nature (including, yes, the cockerels), private, garden walks, good food (including fresh fruit salad for breakfast), good, gentle and considerate company, and a location within moderate driving times to most of the scenic, natural and historic wonder that Scotland has to offer. What more could one want on any sojourn or travels?

Catherine and her husband are great hosts. They were very accommodating as regards our requests and kept our breakfast trays well stocked on a daily basis. The bed was super large and comfy and the bathroom and shower were sparkling. The conservatory sitting room looking out onto the hills was perfect for relaxing and having a drink in at the end of the day.

Our second time at Catalan cottage and just as comfortable and welcoming as the first time! The facilities are excellent - Catherine and Alan are excellent hosts and provide a whole range of thoughtful touches from the range of fresh fruit and cereals etc for breakfast, the selection of teas and coffees, a truly amazingly comfortable bed, a very good and roomy shower and of course, a view of the Ochil hills which is just tremendous to sit and watch at any time of the day.

We spent two nights at Catalan Cottage and wished we could Have stayed for longer. The bed is super comfy and the breakfast was good. Beautiful scenery from the little Conservatory. Exceeded our expectations. Nice little garden to have your morning tea and a view of the hills. Excellent hosts. We will be back!

Our stay here may have possibly been our favorite of the trip. Catherine is a superb host, warm and helpful, with an extending knowledge of spots to see and of the area. Her home is located with a beautiful view in the countryside and it was so special to have touches of a comfy home: private patio, sparkling bathroom and shower, divine bed, and even an Alexa. We even arrived to a lovely welcome note. Highly recommend staying here. You will not regret it.

Catalan is a super wee treasure with a huge comfy bed ! Catherine & Alan made us very welcome in their "Nest" & gave us lots of tips on where to eat & visit. They also provide a superb choice of breakfast goodies & fruit, there is a small fridge too with yoghurt & fruit juice, the icing on the cake is the beautiful view sitting in the porch to enjoy eating them. What a stunning location! You really are overlooking the Ochil hills! Catherine was the perfect host. We arrived and she showed up round everything. As it was 7pm we were going to go out for dinner but Catherine said we could get a takeaway delivered which was a great idea because we had glorious sunshine. Just a perfect evening admiring the view. The cottage was so cozy and luxurious. The bed is massive! We had a great sleep! And the bathroom was so lovely too! A perfect location for Outlander fans like us! We managed to get to Culross, Falkland, blackness castle and Midhope Castle in a day! Catherine we loved your hosting skills! You thought of everything for us and couldn’t have been friendlier! Bailey the dog was a smasher too! We will defo be coming back! Nicola and Debbie. Xxx

Catalan cottage is as homely and comforting as Cath and Alan are. We arrived very late by 11pm and Alan was there completely welcoming even when the check in was only till 10pm. He showed us around and made sure we were settled in. They have a beautiful porch and a lovely garden. They took care of everything from extra blankets, (it was unexpectedly freezing!) breakfast and a bottle of nice sweet wine! Catherine also suggested we go see the Kelpies which turned out to be magnificent. Love everything about Catalan cottage. Looking forward to going there again! Neha

The Hayloft is a stunning place, inside and out in the most beautiful surroundings. It is like a home from home, with everything you could need to cook and chill out. The log burner is amazing, so cosy on a rainy December night! We didn't even want to leave but so easy to access gorgeous walks straight from the doorstep, my boyfriend and I walked to Dollar which was lovely and not too far although got a taxi back as it was pretty cold! Katy and Paddy are lovely and very helpful, we were made to feel very welcome by them. Definitely recommend to anyone looking to de-stress in an amazing place.

The Hayloft was wonderful, stylish, clean, relaxed and delightful. Paddy and Katy are great hosts, everything you could wish for was available, plus a few delightful extras. A walk in the grounds in the late afternoon autumn light was a joy. We loved our stay and would recommend wholeheartedly to anyone. Thank you.

Patrick and Katy were fantastic hosts - very thoughtful and conscientious. The property is stunning and the ground are beautiful. I particularly enjoyed seeing the red squirrels and meeting the Shetland ponies.

This is what Airbnb is all about. A wonderful, cosy, stylish space that felt like a home from home. The surroundings are so peaceful, and the hayloft is an amazing space with everything you could ever need. Coming into autumn we loved the log-burning fire, and relaxed dining area off the kitchen. Although Paddy and his family are fairly new to AirBnB, they have it down to a fine art! We came to the hayloft for a quiet weekend away from the city, and it was absolutely perfect :) It’s lovely and quiet, without being too far away from everything. Located in a beautiful part of Scotland, with stunning hills framing the view. The loft itself is cosy yet stylish with everything you could need and one of the most comfortable beds! We were also given an expansive list of adventure/ food recommendations, which was just the tip of the hospitable iceberg :) Could not recommend this experience enough!

Stunning, peaceful and tranquil. Exactly what I was after to chill out for a couple of days. The hayloft had everything I needed and more. The entire process was easy and Paddy was on hand to answer any questions. Throughly recommend The Hayloft and I will be sure to return when I'm back in Scotland again.

We spent 2 nights at Patrick’s place for our first family getaway since having our 6 week old baby and it was perfect for us! The apartment is gorgeous, exactly like the pictures - it was super clean and very well equipped compared to many places we’ve stayed before...the kitchen in particular had everything needed to cook a full meal! Check in and communication was quick and easy and although we found the location quite rural, Dollar and a couple of other small towns are within quick driving distance. Thanks for everything! :-)

The Bothy is a delightful place for a break. It’s spotless, has some brilliant personal touches. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for an escape.

This is a lovely little place, went to sleep with a nice warm fire and woke to the sound of the birds! A great little spot to stay would recommend it and would gladly stay again.

The bothy is a cute little hidey hole in the middle of some gorgeous scenery. You're surrounded by some lovely gardens with hens and an orchard beside you and stunning views over the hills. Inside the bothy is clean and modern, with a huge comfy sofa bed, log fire and even a PS4. Full cooking facilities with a cooker, hob and microwave. I would recommend taking an extra towel and blanket for getting all cosy after the hot tub which was pretty brilliant. We had a lovely stay for my girlfriend's birthday and would happily return, it's just a great idyllic spot for some R&R.

Heather & Lynsey are the perfect hosts and the Bothy is unique and very comfortable. The chocolates were a nice touch and we thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub and meeting the dogs. Can't wait to return in the future, thank you.

Our stay at the bothy was really nice. Heather was really attentive to all of our needs, the place was georgeous, so cute, romantic and you felt in your own house at all times. They had lovely details, and answered immediately to any question we made. The Bothy is really recomendable with a lovely environment and great and sweet hosts. If I ever go back to Scotland I will definitely stop there. Probably the best hosts we have ever had, in absolutely everything. We feel really thankful for these days.

A warm, comfortable and clean apartment that we would have no hesitation in using again or recommending to anyone else looking to stay in the area. This combined with a host in Lawrence who responds to any questions promptly and fully, nothing seems too much trouble.

Lawrence couldn'nt do enough to help, the cosy warm flat and proximity to Inglewood house all contributed to making our visit to my nephews wedding a great success. Recommended!

This apartment was bigger than we expected. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed and more and the lounge diner was so much bigger than we imagined. There are ample DVDs, books and games to keep everyone entertained. We had to hide all the games consoles from the youngest child otherwise we wouldn’t have been able to go out everyday, haha. All in all, a great stay and we can’t wait to return in the near future.

Excellent apartment in great location with free parking and plenty choice for local shopping and eating. All facilities that you could wish for and extensive choice of DVDs and books to complement TV and wifi, felt very homely with good decor. Was only there for a short stay but would have no hesitation in choosing this accommodation for a longer trip in the future. Lawrence was on hand to talk me through handover details and was very approachable should I have needed to contact him with any questions but I had no issues at all. Would thoroughly recommend this apartment and felt it was excellent value.

Fantastic flat very clean cosy and central position in Alva and easily accessible to the main routes. Lovely touches making the accommodation very homely. Have stayed a couple of times now and looking forward to next year.

We had an absolutely wonderful time at Libby’s and George’s cottage on their farm land! The farm is set in a quiet spot in the countryside close to Saline. However you can easily reach Edinburgh, Glasgow, Perth, St. Andrew’s and various other interesting places within under an hour by car.
