Stephanie is a great hottest, she replied messages very quickly, and she lives upstairs, it is very convenient. Absolutely wonderful! Every amenity a traveling family could need (spacious laypout, well-appointed kitchen, plush towels, washer/dryer, helpful booklet with local info at our fingertips). The boys in particular loved that their room (living room fully closes into a 2 twin bed room) had a larger TV than their parents' room. The location was a great "home base" to explore Neuschwanstein, the Zugspitze, and Munich. And Stephanie and her family could not be more kind and warm. Highly recommended!

An idyllic home away from home, such a lovely place to stay in. One has a magnificent view of the lake & mountains, breathtaking sunset, tranquility, nature at its best, away from the hustle & bustle of city life. Reinhard’s expansive garden surrounded with his unique stone sculptures is mesmerizing. The entire stay was wholesome due to the nice & friendly disposition of the owner. He was cooperative & helpful, accompanied me to attend Holy Mass at Andechs since there are no public transportations from his place on Sundays. I can highly recommend this place, he deserves more than 5*s. I am grateful for the warm hospitality rendered to me.

This is a quaint, cozy, studio in Starnberg that is close to public transportation and easy access to Munich through the train system. The host(s) are very kind and gracious. They are helpful and accommodating, especially to a non-German speaking solo traveler as myself.

A very pleasant and spacious room in a beautiful villa, ideally located in Starnberg, near the train station and the lake. Nice little dogs.

Everything was good. It is a bit noisy. Who does not like dogs should not book here. Regine was very welcoming.

Regine’s home was a perfect location to stay a little outside of the city but get in quickly. Her house was about a four minute walk from the train station. The room itself was spacious and the bed was very comfortable, and I found the comfortable to be super soft. Parking was a little challenging but the hotel down the street let us park overnight for three euro. Overall great experience!

I stayed with Heidi and her daughter for a whole month during my internship. The two were always super familiar and nice, if I wanted, I also had time for myself! Very unobtrusive but still sociable! The whole time there was really no point of criticism on my part, everything was clean and tidy. Above all, the guest fridge was a highlight for me in terms of the equipment, because otherwise I had it elsewhere that I had to see that I always find something on the way. With Heidi I could also use the stove etc. In any case, the time there was very nice, I would always come back when I am in the area!

Heidi and her daughter welcomed me very warmly and showed me everything. Writing and clarifying my arrival was very easy, despite a delay on my part. The room is nicely decorated and offers enough space to feel comfortable there! There is also a TV with Internet connection in the room, so that you can also watch netflix / Prime & Co if you have an account. Also great is the ceiling light, which can be conveniently operated by remote control, for example from the bed. But I was particularly happy about the possibility of using the kitchen. There is even a guest fridge! In short, I felt at home with Heidi and her daughter.

Bernd is a lovely host who goes out of his way to make your stay comfortable and offers lots of advice for your time in Tutzing. The space itself is big and clean with a working kitchen and is great value for money. It’s a basement flat half an hour walk from the station but with buses 5 mins away to take you there. Also 2 big German supermarkets 5 mins away. There is also a lake (where you can swim) and lovely countryside walks just over the road. I can not recommend this place enough but don’t want to recommend it too much as would like to have availability whenever we want to return to the area.

The accommodation is located 5 minutes from Lake Starnberg! A forest area is located nearby. In the accommodation you will find everything you need for a few days :). Bernd is very nice and helpful. That was a very nice weekend for us!

Martin's place has everything you need to feel at home. Plus it's only a quick 10 minute walk to the S-bahn, a grocery store and a nice Cafe for breakfast. The double glass doors at the foot of the bed open directly into a private and peaceful garden.

The house is located in a very nice area, with the lake just a few minutes away by car, and it is possible to reach Monaco with 20 minutes by train. The room is very clean and Iratxe and her family are very kind and hospitable

Iratxe, her family and her home comprised the BEST Airbnb experience I have had (out of a couple dozen over the years). The home is gorgeous and the family is extraordinary--multi-lingual and multi-talented--and made us feel completely at home with a wonderful breakfast and lively conversation. We chose this place because it was away from the bustle of Munich, but it was simple to take the train into and back from the city.

I spent a very nice moment at Iraxte 's place; I felt like at home ! The private bathroom and a big bed room were perfect ! The area is very quiet and we have access to many facilities around. I traveled alone, and it was very pleasant to be able to discuss with the host, and the family. I had a very nice breakfast. If I need to come back to Seefeld I will definitely go back to Iraxte's place :) I was very lucky to get this opportunity to find such a nice family, open minded and also very respectful of my privacy.

I really felt more than good in this cozy room at Wolfratshausen, very peaceful and in a location offering much more than expected. Oliver and Jenny have been really attentive and respectful, offering to help when needed and in a real positive mood. And I had the chance to make some different routes easily from this village by car to visit the beautiful South Bayern region, reaching Münich and even crossing to Austria. Totally recommended!

At Astrid I lived in a very nice, lovingly and comfortably furnished "blue" room with a cozy bed. The whole house is well maintained and clean. I could easily share and share the bathroom and kitchen. I was able to park my car on the property. All in all, I had a very nice, pleasant and relaxing time with Astrid and her daughter, who are both friendly and open-minded, so that I never felt strange for a moment.

Small but cosy room in the Bavaria land. Ideal for those who want not only discover Munich but also take hikes into the surroundings. If you don't come on Sundays and holidays the house is quite well connected with the S-BAHN station by bus, otherwise it's a 30 minutes walk up a small hill. It was quite a time ago since I was woken up by bird singing ;-)

Well located small Logis in S-Bahnnähe. The basement situation had advantages especially in the great heat. The basic equipment left nothing to be desired, everything was nice and lovingly selected. Martina always strives to provide her guests with everything. Washing machine for longer stays a very pleasant plus. Clairaudience in the house is a small limitation. We would come back anytime!

Cozy apartment in small town west of lake Starnberg. Apartment has a fully equipped kitchen. Railway station is not far away from the house. Town is small but it has big park/golf court where you can go for a walk.

I felt very comfortable in Martina's apartment. It is nicely furnished, located in a quiet residential area just 5 minutes walk from the S-Bahn station. And that I could jog wonderfully right from the front door, was the icing on the "i".

This appartment is a perfect base camp for discovering the environment. Everything very clean and well kept, combined with a easygoing checkin and checkout. Cherry on the cake were two cold local beers and chocolates for the whole family!

Kerstin is a lovely host and has a very beautiful home. The unit is self contained on the top floor of the house with access through the main entrance yet this doesn't cause any issues and we were free to come and go as we pleased. A very enjoyable stay away from the hustle and bustle of Munich.

For our visit to our old Bavarian homeland we could not have found a better place to stay. The well furnished attic apartment was clean, bright, comfortable and above all very quiet. Everything was there, what you needed for a pleasant stay. It is a nice walk to the S-Bahn and the relevant shops and Kerstin was so kind to pick us up from the train on arrival. For beer garden fans you can only recommend the Gasthof Poelt, which is located behind the train station. Thanks again Kerstin!

The holiday with Kerstin was wonderful. We had great days and did not want to go home. The location is perfect - in a dead end and surrounded by nature reserve and pastures. I've been living there for over a month and I hadn't any problems. There's no kitchen, but there are a kettle and a fridge. It's a completely separate apartment with no neighbors.

Everything was as specified. A spotlessly clean apartment, a wonderful stove that was easy to use and neatly even my constantly freezing wife and fully satisfied our goal of finding absolute peace. Unfortunately we were there in the winter and much too short to explore the area. Not only the great hostess has something to snack on at the reception, but also the food in the surrounding Bavarian towns is always something special for us.

A beautiful place to dangle body and soul and perfect for slowing down. We were there for the second time and certainly not the last time. The hostess is very nice and welcomes your travelers among other things with freshly baked bread and delicious jam. If you are looking for peace and a nice garden to relax, this is the place for you. From this starting point, you can also plan great day trips to explore the surrounding area. The lake is practically at the feet of the guest and the mountains for hiking are also not too far away. It is best to go there and to convince yourself ...... :-)

Very nice little apartment with a well-equipped kitchen, very friendly contact, we lacked nothing. The area is very beautiful, can also be explored on foot and by bus. With the Sbahn you can be in the center of Munich in 45 minutes.

Sweet little attic apartment, very quiet! Exactly the right thing for me after a long seminar day! Everything you need was available including a small but nice balcony in the direction of the beer garden. There are plenty of opportunities to shop and the connection to public transport is really really good! Station only 10 minutes walk away, from there you can get to Munich or the airport without changing trains.

The place is very beautiful, as it appears in the photo. We arrived here because the center of Munich was very expensive for the Oktoberfest, and although it is a bit far from the center, it has a direct access by train, which lasts approximately 50 min, and allows you to see a bit of the real Germany. In addition the same train takes you to the direct airport. The service is excellent, the people in the restaurant next to the apartment were very friendly, on the way to Germany we lost a suitcase, and in order not to have to wait for it on the airbnb, the people in the restaurant received it without problem. Fully recommended

My daughter was with Jonas with her boyfriend, I did not see the apartment. They were very happy with everything. As a single point, they mentioned that the apartment is probably a smoking apartment. So smoking is not forbidden there. Everything else was great!

Ute and Christian have overruled all our ideas and wishes. Both are very warm, very helpful and have taken great care of our wellbeing. The caravan was extremely well kept and comfortable with a cuddly freshly made bed, which contained 2 pillows, 2 blankets and 4 blankets for both of us, so we really did not feel cold and nice and warm. The camping kitchen in the basement room was above average and the bathroom was pure luxury. As former campsite vacationers we were not used to such comfort. All premises were equipped with electric heaters. In addition, the garden was a little paradise. Starnberg and surroundings are gigantic. There is an enormous amount of culture, nature, things to know and and and to end. No matter where we went, all the people were extremely helpful and hospitable. All in all, it was indescribably awesome and absolutely recommendable. We felt very comfortable and would not have missed this vacation.

This is a great option if you are looking for a quiet and cozy place around Munich. You will be treated very well and get recomendations to visit the area.

Isolde and Klaus were very friendly and warm hosts. From the first communication to the day of departure, everything worked perfectly. The accommodation was very clean, cozy and we felt very comfortable. We can definitely recommend a stay with Isolde and Klaus with a clear conscience.

Isolde and Klaus are beautiful and warm-hearted hosts. The cozy area for guests has everything you need for your stay including the use of a washing machine which for us was quite important having a little child. The place is easily reached from the two main stations in Starnberg and is about 45mins from Munich.

The room is very cozy and comfortable, as well as excellently decorated. The house is located in a very quiet neighborhood, quite close to the train stations (20 minutes walking). However, best of all are the hosts: Isolde and Klaus. They were extremely attentive and affectionate to us, worried if we needed anything. The best hosts in the world! We would definitely love to come back one day.
