A nice clean and spacious apartment that is in a quiet location but close enough for the main tourism sights around Copenhagen. A short drive ( less than 10min) to the centre of Copenhagen, bus is a 2 minute walk from the apartment and the shops you need for food and drink also. 5 minutes to Bakken ( the worlds oldest fairground), 5 minutes to the deer park with thousands of wild deer. The beach is just over the road and the 3 minutes wasn't exaggerated and was a lovely walk. So much to see and visit and we had a great week here. Tanja is very helpful, made our stay very easy and was great at messaging and keeping us updated.

I had a few relaxing days in the modern appartment. The view from the balcony is awesome and you can store loads of clothes in the huge closet! It is perfect if you plan to stay several days and also enjoy cooking on your own. Tanja was very nice and helpful :-)

Lovely accommodation, Christian moved twice to address the problems of WiFi and finally no problem with the internet during your stay!

I spent 4 nights at Christian's house with two friends. Christian has been very helpful and responsive to all of out questions even before we arrived. The house is small but cozy. The price is definitely a plus, and for us sleeping on air mattresses was not a problem (there is one normal bed and two air mattresses) the kitchen is well equipped, the only thing that was not ideal was the shower beeing in the basement of the house, but it was clean and well heated (toilet and sink are in the apartment). We have been welmcomed by Christian very nicely and had a nice talk with him, he also had a lot of information for us and helped us with the understanding the neighbourhood and the public transport. I recommend his place but don't expect a 5 star hotel ;) the quality to price ratio is very good!

We really enjoyed our stay in Copenhagen, easy to reach city center, the area is safe and beautiful short walk from the sea, flat is nice and cosy, it had everything we needed. Christian was really welcoming and provided us with a lot of useful information. The only disadvantage was the smell of cigarettes. Everything else was great. Thank You :)

The apartment was exactly as described: small and cozy, perfect for a couple. Christian was an excellent host and made us feel like home. The neighbourhood was quiet, safe and close to the sea. Easy access to the train station and supermarkets. I would totally recommend it!

Our host was wonderful, he helped us as much as he could. He was trying really hard. He was the biggest advantage of the flat. The second advantage is that this flat is really close to the train which goes to the centre and it takes just like 15 mins (5 mins by foot to the train, 10 mins to centre) to get there. The last advantage was the price which was one of the lowest I could find in the whole city of Copenhagen. The disadvantages were that the flat was poorly equiped - mainly the kitchen. There were not many glasses and things like that. It was quite hard to prepare food in there, which was quite important for us in Copenhagen as the restaurants are really expensive. Another disadvantage was the odour. I think one of the neighbours is a heavy smoker which resulted in really bad odour every time we came home. Another disadvantage is that it was quite cold in the appartment. It could be that we are not as used to these temperatures, but I still think that if the heater is on maximum, it shouldn't be cold. The last disadvantage is that one of the neighbours is crazy or something. We once experienced REALLY loud music till midnight (the room was shaking) and once the music played from 6 AM (not as loud, but still nothing pleasant). I wrote all these things to Christian and I think he will do everything he can to improve these things so next time it will be better for the people staying here. We still enjoyed this stay really much and I admit that according to the price which was almost shocking, I couldn't expect anything luxurious.

Very welcome to our Christian host. Present and available if needed, no complaints at this level. Rental located 200 meters from the subway, easy to access and is about 10 minutes from downtown. Shops about ten minutes walk.

Quiet location with good transport links and convenient supermarket. Also plenty of shops, etc. close by on Strandvejen. Perfect for a short city stay -- but the absence of a hob or oven/microwave might be an issue for those thinking of a longer break. Mikkel was a discreet but friendly host and very communicative before our stay.

We were very well received and had some wonderful days in Hellerup. The small guest house was spotlessly clean and everything worked flawlessly. The location is perfect in quiet, natural surroundings and close to the cozy marina - and at the same time a short distance from the center of Copenhagen. We give our best recommendations!

The description of the property was even better than we had expected. A really nice annexe where you can also have privacy by having its own entrance and bathroom and kitchenette, even though you live in a private family. The area was perfect, close to city center, park and public transport, and Mikkel was very helpful with, inter alia, to explore the possibility of extra things we needed.

Accommodation was as described. I received a warm welcome and had a perfect stay in an excellent location.

The apartment is perfect for a couple. Very clean with a large comfortable bed, also it has a sofa bed. The bathroom is great, with a good shower and spacious. Mikkel always looks clean towels there. There is also a large table for the computer if you need to work. There is also a porch at the entrance with a table and chairs which is nice when it's sunny. The hosts are very friendly and always willing to help if you need it but respecting both your space. It has a small dining area with dishes, refrigerator and sink, but unfortunately only a water heater and a coffee maker, a microwave think would fail to heat a dish. It is all as it looks in the photos.

The Villa apartment was fantastic. The pictures look great and it really is as the pictures look. From the Meile appointments to the photography books. But there are special touches too, some fresh herbs in the kitchen. It is a great place to stay and the location is great too. Hellerup Station is very convenient a few stops to the Airport, a few stops from town and because there are a number of lines that stop at Hellerup you never have to wait for a train in town to come home. The hosts are very friendly and always keen to give you some local knowledge but also allow privacy. A really great place to stay, the wonderful light in the apartment, the fresh air of Hellerup, the general ambience...just wonderful. Oh and there are great food shops close by too.

This is an absolutely recommendable accomodation. Bright and with a very personal style. Hellerup is a perfect starting point whether you take the train or even the car e.g. for travelling to Louisiana. A lot of shops are in walking distance. Les and Jakob are very helpful and really take good care of their guests.

We stayed with our daughter a week at the apartment. The apartment is exactly as shown in the photos. Very bright and very tastefully decorated. The beds are very good and we slept like logs. The living area is large and has. Through the large windows, the rough wooden floor and the facility Flair The kitchen makes cooking fun. The residential area is quiet, parking on the roadside are plentiful and the train station is just five minutes away on foot. In Hellerup there are plenty of opportunities for shopping, from the organic bakery on supermarkets to fashion and furniture stores. Also restaurants there are some. The small port with many boats, yachts and kayaks is near and next door is a small beach with a jetty. The place is a good starting point for trips to Copenhagen, along the coast to the north or to Malmö.

We spent a wonderful week at Les & Jakob's ! The apartment is beautiful and Les made everything to welcome us even helping us to find food on a sunday evening. We were travelling with our 1-year-old son and the apartment was really easy. we enjoyed the calm and green environment after days of wandering around Copenhagen lively neighborhoods. it was wonderful holidays! thanks!

Really lovely apartment in a nice neighborhood, 10 minutes by train downtown Copenhagen. Spacious, bright, nice and fully furnished. Very friendly reception, fresh flowers on the table, very good hosts. Absolute must. Very very nice place.

We had a great experience staying at Jakob and Les' apartment in Hellerup. It is a very short walk to the train station, which provides easy access to downtown Copenhagen. There are also many shops and restaurants within a short walk of the apartment. Jakob and Les were fantastic hosts. They were very thoughtful by providing cold beer, bread and butter, and other refreshments in the refrigerator upon our arrival. They were also always very responsive in their communications, both before the trip as well as while we were there, and always willing to help with suggestions on local restaurants and sights of interest. The apartment is very roomy and comfortably sleeps 4 individuals. Spacious kitchen with microwave oven, traditional oven, dishwasher, and refrigerator. Good wifi and tv options. I would strongly recommend this location if you're planning a visit to Copenhagen.

Interesting but fine

After a nightmare of a journey getting to Copenhagen--arriving 1 day late and without our luggage--it was such a pleasure to be met out on the driveway of the lovely home by Les .She had delicious bread and butter waiting for us hungry travelers. We instantly felt that we would be comfortable and safe. The apartment is just as described--open, large, airy. We had everything that we needed for our stay. Communication with Les and Jakob was good from the beginning. The home is less than 2 blocks from the train station which makes for an easy commute into the center of the city. If we return to Copenhagen in the future we would definitely stay at Jakob and Les's lovely apartment. We were very pleased with our stay.

We had a great stay at this cosy little apartment. Martin and Elin were so helpful and even gave our son a box of toys to keep him busy in the evenings and a sledge to use as it had been snowing. Martin and Elin were the friendliest hosts we have encountered so far on Airbnb. Martin took the effort to greet us at the bus stop and led us to his cosy home. The place is exactly as described and the bar/basement was very well decorated with a pool table and dart board, perfect for occupying yourself at night. The washer and dryer works as described which was really helpful and we could cast videos to the TV which was cool! Would definitely recommend to anyone who wishes to visit Copenhagen!

This place is in a beautiful neighborhood near the seaside and the nearest train station is only a 15 minute walk. When we first arrived the host was there to pick us up at the train station(we didn't ask her to, she offered) and she was very kind. She gave us a private tour of the neighborhood and then showed us where we were staying. It was perfect, I couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. I have nothing negative to stay. As close to perfect as possible.

The appartment is a great place to be for a small family with two kids. Cozy, clean, modern and both central and in a quite area in the same time. Public transport is very close also a supermarket and a bakery. For the kids there is a small playground in front of the house. Loved it! Charlotte is a friendly host giving you all information you need. It was a perfect stay!

Hellerup is a great neighborhood to visit Copenhagen: quiet, great transport links, close to the sea and in the center you can also easily reach by bike. The apartment is very nice, small but bright and decorated with style, very close to the train station. Charlotte was delicious and precise.

Nanna is a very sweet person who greeted us in her apartment at our arrival. After a short introduction we had this stylish apartment for ourselves...she even gave us permission to use her daughter's toys. The apartment is quiet and perfect if you have a child. The kitchen is modern and very well equipped. The beds are very comfortable and there was plenty of empty storage area for our things. The apartment is close to the station (2 minutes exactly by foot). It takes little time to go to the city centre (10 minutes by train). Moreover it is perfect for the airport transfer as the train going to the airport stops in Hellerup station. There is a supermarket nearby. And if you come late, are hungry and don't want to shop (like we were!), go for the Thai restaurant just on the corner...great food! All in all, very recommendable!
