Swimming lake with particularly clear waters. The water temperature is particularly mild and it is possible to swim from late May until early October. It is also ideal as a base for those wishing to visit the many tourist resorts in the area: Orta San Giulio, Lake Maggiore with Stresa and the Borromean Islands, Lake Mergozzo, the Ossola Valley, the Strona Valley, Valsesia and many others. A cabin immersed in the woods, a 5-minute walk from the village of Miazzina, it is like a private refuge for those seeking peace and relaxation away from the chaos. Perfect for recharging mind and body in a natural environment. Equipped with a photovoltaic system that provides the electricity needed for lighting and charging mobile phones. Enjoy the breathtaking view of Lake Maggiore and its islands. Behind the house there are various hiking trails in the unspoiled nature of the Val Grande National Park.

Alpe Aurelio-Hut Lake Maggiore Cabin

Characteristic hut located in a high mountain pasture (7 huts)at 1000 meters above sea level. Reachable only on foot in 40 minutes from the village of Miazzina (VB) by an easy path.Allows to enjoy the wild atmosphere of the nearby Val Grande Park and offers an outstanding view over Lake Maggiore.The hut is equipped with a wood boiler providing hot water and with a solar panel producing electricity for lighting and charging electronic devices. In July and August we prefer to have 3 guest or more.

Picturesque, Historic Villa with Island Views

Gaze over stunning 180-degree views of islands on Lago Maggiore from the expansive, floor-to-ceiling windows of this lovely, 230-year-old rustic stone villa. Antique furnishings perfectly complement the historic architecture. The house is on 3 floors so a fair bit of walking up and down stairs is required. The main bedroom is on the upper floor and the 2nd bedroom (two single beds) and bathroom on the lowest floor. Ideal for couples and families but not for the elderly or groups of 4 adults.

Verbania: Baita nel Bosco - amici degli animali.

Immersa nei boschi della fantastica Val Grande, a circa 900m d'altezza, la "Baita nel Bosco" è il luogo adatto per staccare dalla routine... Qui il tempo sembra essersi fermato e il silenzio è rotto dal canto degli uccellini o dai richiami degli animali selvatici...e comunque possibile raggiungere le spiagge del lago, i supermercati e tutto ciò che offre una piccola città in meno di mezz'ora.
