Places to stay in Oakridge
The Oakridge Union Cog House has been completely restored and it's on the main street of the old Downtown. It is a 2 minute walk from the best Brewery and restaurant in this part of Oregon (Brewers Union) and 4 minutes from the Distillery. Four Legged and two legged guests love how close we are to the main Mountain Biking, fishing, hot springs Chillin, and Hiking trailheads. please look at our 70+ 5 star reviews.
Our house was built in the 50's and completely remodeled with all new beds/kitchen/bathroom/flooring/laundry room in early 2018. We wanted a place in Oakridge we could stay in to visit and we are not there that much. 1 king 1 Queen and 2 twins and a large lot give you plenty of room with a great new stainless kitchen.
The City of Oakridge is a beautiful area, surrounded by the vast Willamette National Forest, where families and businesses live and grow, work and play, live and dream, in a safe and sustainable community. With 500 miles of trails surrounding the city, it truly is a mountain biking paradise. Oakridge is a scenic place to live, work, and play.

  • Went for a family trip and had a wonderful time! Went on a few local hikes, ate at near by restaurants, drank at local bars. Place was as photographed and was very clean and nice! Great homey touches!

  • This place is as described, and was actually a little more spacious than I was expecting. The views are gorgeous, it's in the historic district set back a couple of blocks from 58, so it's quiet. You do hear trains several times a day, but it's at enough of a distance to be a feature not a bug in my opinion. Brewer's Union is just a couple of blocks away and we really enjoyed the food and beer there. It was very peaceful, beautiful and relaxing. We would definitely look to stay here again in the future!

    Amber2020-01-19T00:00:00Z
  • Gaaaaah!!! Let me just say this cozy little home away from home was just what we needed for Christmas 2019! From the comfy beds to the extras. Best of the best. Memories for a lifetime for my FamBam!!! Everything worked great, it was just perfect!! Thanks again <3

  • Highly recommend. We come to Oakridge often and I have stayed in most of the Airbnb's there. This one stands out in a few ways. First, the check in and check out are very easy. There are some very dark streets in Oakridge and checking in at night can be both confusing and even a little scary. It's the most convenient Airbnb location if you are headed up the highway or walking to the uptown area (I highly recommend the Brewer's Union a few blocks down from The Cog House). Inside the house, this is an extremely comfortable space with a ton of extra thoughtful touches. For example, there's a basket of stuff with extra shampoo or whatever in case you forgot something. The linens and mattresses are of high quality and the place heats up quickly to be very toasty.

Spring is a great time to visit Oakridge, snow is still good up at Willamette Pass and trails closer to town are opening up as volunteer sawyers clear out trees that fell during the winter storms. Located in Uptown Oakridge, this cottage is the ideal base for exploring the Middle Fork Ranger District of the Willamette National Forest. You're a short drive from snowy adventures and a stroll to the Brewer's Union Pub, Deep Woods Distillery and Ray's Supermarket.
Our cottage is not fancy; just a clean, simple place. The open, south facing living room has a smart TV with an apple tv box so you can access your own media streaming accounts. There are two bedrooms, each with a queen bed, and one small bathroom. The kitchen is vintage, but well equipped for cooking meals: plenty of pots and pans, serving dishes, even a crock pot so you can have hot food after your adventure. There is a standard drip coffee machine and a french press. There is no dishwasher but plenty of tools to hand wash. Off the back is a deck overlooking the backyard with views across to Larison Ridge. After your summer adventure, grill out on the deck and enjoy the fading light or relax in a hammock strung between big old oak trees. The garage below the house has a washer and dryer and is perfect for bike and gear storage. Pets allowed ONLY with prior consent from the owner and for an additional pet clean up fee. The back yard is fenced in and there are many easy dog walks from the house. Towels to wipe off muddy paws are provided.
You might be visiting Oakridge because you are drawn to the world class recreation on the surrounding Willamette National Forest. Please keep in mind that the area has a rich logging history and Oakridge was once a booming mill town. The logging industry shut down in the 1990's and since then the town has been trying to form a new base industry and is slowly evolving into a recreation destination. Cog Wild's cottage is located in Uptown Oakridge, which was formerly the center of town and is now being revitalized. This is a working class neighborhood near Oakridge's schools and churches, the Ray's Supermarket and a variety of restaurants. The cottage is a short drive from all kinds of adventure on the Willamette National Forest. and only a couple blocks from Cog's Oakridge Headquarters at First and Pine.
  • This little house is so perfect for your outdoor adventuring. Our family of four (two adults and two kids) plus our two dogs were really happy here. It's small but we we had plenty of room for our gear, parking, sleeping, etc. There are a ton of nice little locals' extras and amenities that are really thoughtful, and it was equipped with all needed cooking necessities. We went skiing at Willamette Pass everyday and the drive was short and we had everything we needed in Oakridge. Kirin was super responsive and helpful. We will be back!

    Erika2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • Awesome place close to everything - will come back next time we are in the area!

New vacation rental in Oakridge! This charming four bedroom bungalow has a nice mix of vintage and updated features. Located in the middle of town, it is close to everything, and well stocked to make your stay welcoming and convenient.
The house has two bedrooms downstairs and two bedrooms upstairs. There is a large mud room with washer and dryer, fenced area for pets, and fire pit for your enjoyment. The main heat source is a thermostat controlled pellet stove that is easy to start and stock. Wifi is available as well as a TV with apple tv for your streaming services.
Oakridge is an outdoor recreation hub! 5 rivers combine right here to form the main stem of the Middle Fork Willamette River offering endless fishing, boating and swimming options. 500 miles of single track trail is accessible from town. Hundreds more miles of quiet paved and gravel roads lead to three nearby wilderness areas. Waldo Lake and Willamette Pass are both 30 minutes east, Oregon coast 90 minutes west and Crater lake 90 minutes east. Oakridge is the best spot to explore what western Oregon has to offer!
  • Cute house, check in was easy and we appreciated the amount of spelling spaces and blankets. The kitchen was nice and we loved that the tv had Netflix!

Let the river sing you to sleep in this sweet and brand new little cottage. Our place is within easy walking distance to restaurants and stores for any supplies you may need when you hit the trails. Or, could just hang out here, cast a fly, launch a raft or enjoy the sounds and sights of the beautiful middle fork of the Willamette River, just being.
The cottage is a studio apartment equipped with a queen size comfy bed and a sofa bed. There is a well equipped kitchenette and bath with shower. WiFi is provided and a flat screen tv. The river is very close to the cottage and the view of the river is wonderful, binoculars are kept at ready for watching osprey, eagles and of course ducks! There is a small fenced area for your doggie to be secure and one dog is welcome. Please let us know when you make your reservation if there is a dog traveling with you. We set the cottage up slightly different when there’s a pet.
Stewart’s 58 Drive in and Cedar Creek cafe are within easy walking distance. Fishing and rafting are in the back yard and hiking and mountain biking opportunities abound!
  • Enjoyed staying here. Next to other houses but felt private. The river and forest are beautiful and we felt very immersed in nature. We enjoyed dining at the nearby local bakery/cafe and hiking nearby.

  • Dee has a wonderful location right on the river. The space is clean and nice for a single traveler or couple. The fenced in little yard for dogs and fires was very nice as well! You will enjoy yourself here and find peace!

    Nick2020-02-04T00:00:00Z
  • Although the cottage was a little closer to several homes than we expected, we were still very happy! When you’re in the cottage it is super private and the fenced backyard was perfect for my dog. Everything was super clean and modern, with a really functional kitchenette that was great for making meals. We were looking for a long weekend away and this was the perfect option! The bed was comfy, the other amenities were great, and she even left us some scones as a treat. Definitely recommend this if you’re looking to get out of the city for a bit. We drove 8 mins away and went on a 2 hour hike along the river which was wonderful.

Welcome to an upscale rental in the heart of Oakridge. Our newly renovated apartment is located above the Brewers Union Pub, with great views of town and the local mountains. Enjoy all the area has to offer, by being right in the center of it. Clean, comfortable, and with direct access to both town and all of the adventures Oakridge’s surrounding area has to offer. This unit holds 2 adults and 2 kids, only. Not 4 adults. Book with Uptown Hideaway #1, to accommodate an additional 2 adults.
You will have the entire one bedroom, with a separate open-floor plan kitchen and living area, and one bathroom as a private unit. With new hardwood floors, new appliances, newly installed ductless air conditioning and heating, a new memory-foam mattress, quality household items, an updated bathroom, and a separate bike storage room, you’ll feel well taken-care of on your vacation. Wait! If you think this sounds like another listing, you are correct! Next door’s Uptown Hideaway #1, was remodeled and updated with the same quality and charm. Each delightfully hospitable unit has some differences for you to consider when choosing between the two. This unit has one terrific window in the bedroom, facing the street, but no other windows for views. Uptown Hideaway #1 has a few more modern touches, a full-sized refrigerator, and a more romantic touch. This unit (#2) has a pullout sofa for toddlers/older children, a Netflix enabled television, and some unique personal touches we think you’ll enjoy. If you’re traveling with another friend or couple, but desire your own space, booking both units would make for a great option. Both units are located in the same building next door to one another. Your friendly, well-behaved dog is welcome to join you on vacation. There is an additional $25 pet fee to be paid through AirBnb as an "extra service" closer to your arrival. All dogs must be socialized and non-aggressive towards humans and other dogs alike, and may not be left unattended. Also included: -A TV with netflix -Wifi -Coffee for your first morning and basic spices -Sharp knives (we are picky about this when we travel!) -Quality bedding -Carpet-free unit -Separate bike storage room (to be shared with Uptown Hideaway #1) Please note: There is a train that runs through town. The pub is located downstairs. While Oakridge feels like a sleepy town, there is a potential for some noise from time-to-time. (We have provided ear plugs and a noise machine for those light-sleepers who might appreciate this.) On Saturday evenings there may be live music at the pub, which may make the closing of the pub run later than normal; this may not be the rental for you, if you know you'd be bothered by this! We have everything you need to make this a true vacation get-away. The kitchen is fully stocked, bathroom supplied with amenities, and a huge map of the area to help you plan your adventures.
You are located in the heart of Oakridge. You'll have easy access to everything the area has to offer.
  • This was our second stay. The apartment is wonderfully furnished and perfectly located to take advantage of Oakridge’s amenities like the 3 Legged Crane pub downstairs. Lindsay was very open and prompt with communication and the apartment was spotless when we checked in. Highly recommended.

    Steve2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • Lindsay and Rick are great hosts! My partner and stayed for a weekend away to ski and enjoy the mountain. They communicated with us promptly. Their place is really lovely, simple and well curated! We were very comfortable during our stay and would love to come back!

    Amanda2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • The place was super cozy and comfortable for our stay

    Conner2019-11-30T00:00:00Z
  • This is a great little place in Oakridge! The apartment was clean, stylish, and comfortable. The pub downstairs serves some good brews and I did not find it noisy at all.

    Chris2019-11-23T00:00:00Z
  • This little loft was just fantastic! Very comfortable, clean and well equipped. Attention to detail was great. Even the knives were sharp! The bed was quite comfortable. The fact that it's located above a tavern was no big deal as noise died down before 10. However, we made use of the noise machine for sleeping purposes-yet another thoughtful touch by Lyndsay. We highly recommend this rental!

    Sandra2019-11-16T00:00:00Z
  • Lindsay’s place was exactly as advertised and then some! Very stylish and thoughtful space, and we enjoyed the British pub below. We appreciated all of the local recommendations as well.

A fun, modern 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom home in the heart of uptown Oakridge. Close to shops, restaurants, and the local brew pub; huge backyard for grillin' and chillin'; a 5-minute ride to mountain bike shuttle companies. Welcome to your Oakridge adventure!
Whether you’re in Oakridge for the killer mountain biking, the great fishing, the gorgeous hikes, the friendly people or all of the above, Jasper Lodge is the perfect place to call home at the end of a long day of play. This completely remodeled home has 3 stylishly furnished bedrooms with some of the most comfortable beds in the world (the master bedroom has a Tempurpedic mattress!), and 2 modern bathrooms. Spread out your map to plan your day’s adventure in the plush living room, cook up a storm in the well-stocked kitchen, or fill up your growler at the Brewers Union Local 180 (4 blocks away) and grill out on the patio. We have a secure garage with plenty of space for your fishing, boating, ORV and cycling gear, along with some basic bike tools for guest use. (Plus, the Willamette Mountain Mercantile is just a 5-minute bike ride away if you need repairs, gear, or a sweet mountain bike rental.) We also have a bike-washing station and laundry for you to use after those epic muddy rides. We love to cook, so you’ll find high-quality versions of everything you need: pots, pans, baking dishes, cookie sheets, hand mixer, plates, bowls, glassware and more. We also have growlers available for you to use. You’ll find all the essentials for a comfortable stay, including: - wifi - washer & dryer - kitchen stocked w/ new appliances - fire pit & charcoal grill - shampoo/conditioner/soap - hair dryer - towels & bedding - local trail maps and guides - AC unit in living room and master bedroom - fans and heaters for all bedrooms - TV and DVD player for those rainy days
You’re totally going to love Oakridge. It’s an old logging town that’s been revitalized over the past few years by outdoor tourism, and as a result you’ll find a pleasant blend of small-town charm and city-style amenities. For example, Ray’s Food Place (2-minute drive) has both the classic sidewalk summer grill tent, and also kombucha on tap. Our home’s location is phenomenal. It's less than a 10-minute bike ride to both the mountain bike shuttle companies, and an easy ride back from the terminus of most of the popular local trails. The bike shop (Willamette Mountain Mercantile), groceries (Ray’s) and super-delicious dinner and beer (Brewers Union Local 180) are all close by, and the restaurants and shops of downtown Oakridge are a 5-minute drive away. We’re in a quiet neighborhood with lovely neighbors, so you can expect friendly waves and kids biking down the street. One note: Oakridge is on a train route, so you’ll hear a few trains go by throughout the day and night. We’ve found that if we keep a fan running in the master bedroom it doesn’t bother us personally, and in the two other bedrooms guests don’t seem to notice the trains at all. We do have a stash of earplugs available, though!
  • Great house and very clean. Host is friendly, flexible, and quick to reply to every question. Looking forward to staying again.

  • Just spent a weekend with friends mountain biking in Oakridge. The house was a great home base. Enough beds, dishes and utensils, free internet, and had a nice fire pit for the evenings. And a place to wash off the bikes and enough hooks to hang them up in the garage, which was awesome. And walking distance to the brewery, couple of blocks, when we were too tired to cook. Overall, had a great time!

  • I stayed at this home last year with my family (6 of us) and we loved it so much that we decided, when it was time for our snow trip this year, to see if the same place was available. It was. And so our 5 (minus 1 kiddo that's in the Navy) family members headed out. Jennifer is absolutely attentive and quick with messages which is SO nice. And the house is adorable with 3 lovely rooms made up in a comfortable and inviting way. The kitchen is huge, the living room is big and comfy, the bathrooms are cute and both times very clean. We'll definitely be back next year.

    Christi2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • We had the best time staying at the house :: was so clean, the mattresses were so comfortable, the blankets soft, the layout was fantastic and so close to everything! The Apple TV was a favorite with the kids and the man cave was the highlight of the trip for the husband :: the decor is so beautiful and modern and the home was perfect !

    Lauren2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • Such a great home! Very clean, comfy and stylish. Owners left us some baked good which was so thoughtful. I have stayed in other homes and hotels in Oakridge and this one is the best by far.

  • Great place to stay

    Amber2019-12-01T00:00:00Z
  • This house is a great location and very comfortable. The hosts thought of everything, especially if you are going to Oakridge for mountain biking. The beds are very comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. They even left pastries from the local bakery on the counter, which I thought was a nice touch. Every room had earplugs available because of proximity to the train. Honestly, the train is louder up on the hillside and it didn't bother us. If you're not used to trains, you might utilize the earplugs. My family is from Oakridge and I know my way around town pretty well. We would love to come back here in th summer time. There is so much outdoor space on the property for hanging out. The furniture and decor is unique but functional. We loved it.

  • We had a great time at Bambi and Vinnie's. Bambi responded immediately to our questions prior to arrival. The place was spotless and central to many natural attractions. Thanks!

    Jasmin2019-10-28T00:00:00Z
  • The place was great! Conveniently located. A bit noisy on the weekends late at night due to it being above a bar/restaurant. Other than that Bambi and Vinnie were extremely hospitable and quick to respond!

    Stephen2019-10-07T00:00:00Z
  • Outstanding value, great location, very inviting. Our group of 5 stayed in both the Maxwell House Lodge and the loft upstairs. Could not have been more perfect for us. Lots of room for us all to move around. Very well stocked kitchen with helpful labels on the cabinet doors. Mornings on the porch watching the sun light up the mountains as a sleepy little town woke up was so peaceful yet the lodge was convenient to everything we needed. Thank you Bambi and Vinnie for being part of a perfect family reunion vacation!

    Kathy2019-08-23T00:00:00Z
  • Clean and centrally located. The bathtub was great to soak in after long days on the trails.

    Stuart2019-08-09T00:00:00Z
  • Bambi and Vinnie’s place was just what we needed. Great location in Oakridge that made everything very accessible. They had the rooms outfitted with awesome AC units which kept us cool during the heat wave. The bed was very comfortable and I appreciated the bath at the end of a very long bike ride. We will definitely keep this place in mind for the future, or even the larger space in the unit below. Highly recommend to anyone staying in Oakridge! Wish we could have stayed longer.

    Cullen2019-06-17T00:00:00Z
  • Perfect place to stay to hit the mountain biking trails

    Lynne2019-05-26T00:00:00Z
  • The space is darling and the hosts are very responsive and sweet. Take note of the pictures of the stairs and tub. It was spotless and quiet. Lots of sweet touches like books to read, games and even a pair of reading glasses! Lots of closet space!

    Melody2019-04-22T00:00:00Z
  • This space was easy to find, and enter. Bambi is quick to communicate and accommodating to late arrival times. The space was everything I needed for a weeklong course nearby, and I would definitely stay again.

  • This property was just fantastic! It was absolutely as expected from the photos, but so many great touches put it over the top. Every room is clean, there were basic amenities available, and lots of great tips for enjoying the area. In fact, Paige and Kelly pointed me toward nearby points of interest, including rivers, waterfalls, and many, many hiking opportunities. I felt like I was in the middle of an endless outdoor playground. And, it was an added bonus that they have a great TV, Wi-Fi, and DVD set up, so that I could get to almost any movie or TV show that I wanted (and even work on my laptop as needed). Finally, Kelly in particular was friendly, knowledgeable, and very responsive indeed. Highly recommended!

    Jason2020-02-20T00:00:00Z
  • Paige's house is a great getaway from everything! In the town of Oakridge, which is very secluded you have access to everything you need. The house is very spacious with tons of amenities to include laundry (washer/dryer), full kitchen with cutlery, TV, and wifi. Will definitely be back!

    Sheldon2020-01-27T00:00:00Z

Easy excess to the Willamette River and trails that have made Oakridge the mountain bike Capitol of the NW. The house sleeps 6 but does have a sofa bed that can sleep an additional 1 to 2.
Fully stocked kitchen with quality cookware. Dining room table easily seats 6 with 2 leaves that expand to seat 12. Fine China available on request. The street signs to the house are misleading. Coming from the west you turn right onto Gale st. Drive a short distance and you will see a sign that says Lauren, it appears if you turn right you will be on Lauren but that is not true. Turn right, it's still Gale Street. The house is a short drive on a gravel road. Address is visible on carport post.

Welcome to Hills Creek Hideaway; more than just a place to stay, this is a vacation spot that has it all. Enjoy your own private space with views of water, mountains, and forest. Close to a multitude of activities, our newly remodeled modern house is the perfect place to relax, explore, and hide away. Close to trails, town, and water! Avoid the mosquito swarms you'd find at Odell Lake or Crescent Lake, at our lower elevation lake front getaway. Dog friendly! #oakridgeescapes on instagram
Nestled in the Willamette Forest, and close to many trails, our house is perched just above the Hills Creek Reservoir only a few miles outside of Oakridge. Private, quiet, clean, and with everything you need for a remarkable vacation, we know you’ll love your stay at Hills Creek Hideaway. There is so much to do in the area, no matter the season, and our place is the perfect home base for exploring while you: mountain bike, fish, ski or snowboard, swim, hike, or boat. In warm weather you’ll enjoy playing lawn games on the expansive lawn, grilling on the patio, or swimming in the reservoir (or one of Oakridge’s many wonderful swimming holes). Bring your boat as there’s parking for it and a boat launch a half mile down the road. In colder weather, you’ll enjoy warming up by the propane fire, while watching the dramatic fog and clouds sweep over the mountains and across the reservoir. We have many recommendations on places to explore in the area, but have made sure to make your space cozy if you’re looking to just stay put too. You will have the whole open, light-filled downstairs, as a private unit, with your own entrance, kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom. New hardwood floors, new appliances (and air conditioning), quality household items, a new memory foam bed (and pillows!) you’ll feel like you won’t want to leave our slice of paradise. We want you to enjoy your time at Hills Creek Hideaway as much as we do. Your friendly, well-behaved dog is welcome to join you on vacation. We will send a request for an “extra service fee” for $25 close to your arrival date. Failure to claim/pay for dogs will result in a $100 security deposit forfeiture. All dogs must be socialized and non-aggressive towards humans and other dogs alike, and may not be left unattended in the house. The top floor of the house is our separate unit. We will sleep off-site when we have guests, but might visit the property during the day for supplies/showers/or to help answer questions. While you might hear us (and our dogs) moving around, we’ll keep the dance parties for when you’re not there. We are always available by phone call or text. We are happy to make your stay comfortable should you need anything prior to, or during, your stay. Also Provided: -Sharp knives (something we notice when we travel) -Coffee, tea, snack items, and basic spices -Trail books to use and maps to plan adventures -Gas grill to bbq -Lawn games -Carpet free unit -Gas fireplace #oakridgeescapes on instagram website: https://oakridgeescapes.com
The nearest neighbors are a 1/4 down the road, and there are only a few properties on the reservoir. Peace, quiet, and nature are what makes this a wonderful "neighborhood."
  • This AirBnB is in a mountain setting that is majestic with a glorious view. Quiet, private, and for a city girl like me, very secluded. The place is immaculately clean, very comfortable, & close to the small town of Oakridge (about 4 miles down the mountain). We were there in late Fall to visit family, but would like to visit again in spring or summer for outdoor activities. The only drawback is no wifi. A big plus, however, is the dark night sky full of stars. Truly splendid!

    Stephanie2019-11-25T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great weekend, what a beautiful place!

    Mackenzie2019-11-18T00:00:00Z
  • We had such a fantastic time during our getaway! The place was fantastic with amazing views. The cabin is super private with a giant lawn out front, with views of Diamond Peak and Hills Creek Reservoir. Oakridge was such a cute town; we accidentally stumbled upon Deep Woods Distillery (which we read about in the cabin), and absolutely loved the experience. The adventures within reach from the hideaway were fantastic. We visited Salt Creek Falls and McGredie Hot Springs, only about 20 minutes east! The place is perfectly decorated with awesome personal touches and local attributes. We found every amenity we needed, and then some!

    Ian2019-11-11T00:00:00Z
  • This was the perfect place for some much needed peace and quiet! Huge thank you to our hosts for creating such a beautiful home and sharing the amazing view

    Rebecca2019-11-04T00:00:00Z
  • Hills Creek Hideaway is BY FAR my favorite Airbnb experience to date. I can't state clearly enough how clean and beautiful this home is. The inside of this place is immaculate, and the grounds outside are serene and tranquil. Communication with the hosts was fast and thorough. Don't hesitate if you are thinking about staying at HCH. It was well worth the 3 hour drive from Medford, and make sure you stop by the amazing Crater Lake National Park on the way! We also mountain biked the North Fork Trail, which was perfect and only situated about 15 minutes away.

    Justin2019-10-28T00:00:00Z
  • My boyfriend and I wanted to travel somewhere to escape our busy LA lives for a few days... somewhere secluded with little cell service and insane nature / hikes. We randomly found this place on airbnb and just booked it! The trip was exactly what we dreamt of. The photos of the house don’t do it justice- it is SO lovely and cozy, with thoughtful touches everywhere. Very secluded. One little thing to mention- the photo of the front yard is a bit deceiving as the house is not actually ON the reservoir, it’s down the road. Grocery store is down the road. McCredie hot springs 10 min away. We drove 30 min-2 hr for hikes each day, but the hikes were so incredible and drives were great. Perfect home base!!

    Eva2019-10-12T00:00:00Z
  • This cabin is a gem! They really are super hosts. This has been my best experience with Air B&B. If you are looking for someplace to relax that has everything included you found the right place! Great scenery too!

    Brandi2019-10-06T00:00:00Z
  • What a special place! My wife and I stayed here briefly for our first anniversary, and it was the perfect cozy retreat. The Hills Creek Reservoir was breathtakingly beautiful, even in unexpectedly cold and rainy weather, and we were able to get a short hike in to enjoy the McCredie Hot Springs. The hosts have clearly put a lot of thought and effort into this AirBnB, and we enjoyed the attention to detail, comfort, and cleanliness of the rental.

Newer home in a sub-division with very few homes nearby. Lot's of privacy. Behind the home is a secluded wood area, it's like having your own wilderness in your backyard. Walk a few hundred feet out and you'll be facing Salmon Creek. A trail wraps around the river allowing for an easy bike ride, or nice jog.
At the end of the subdivision is a Frisbee golf 3 hole course and picturesque creek and pond. Great for a picnic lunch. The home itself allows for up to 8 guests. Pets are allowed. The backyard is fenced in so your dog won't wander off! Full kitchen equipped for all your cooking needs. Bumper pool/poker table inside. Backyard has a bbq, fire pit, and table area. Very comfortable hang out! Greenwaters park is a short walk away. Close to the Historic uptown area. Tons of outdoor activities throughout Oakridge and surrounding areas.
One of our guests was involved in a verbal argument with our neighbor. The neighbor being the instigator. We’ve never had an incident before (in 2 years with him) and hope this was a one time issue. Just to be sure, please only park on our house side of the street. And do not “hang out” in the front yard for too long. We only have one neighbor nearby, the rest are empty lots.
  • All around had a great visit. Clean, spacious and homey. Would recommend a stay to anyone that asked.

Lone Wolf Cabin is situated on a gated road in a forest setting. It is the only residence on the road. It is about 2 miles from both Oakridge and Westfir which makes it convenient for mountain bike riding, hiking, golfing and dining out. There are both Forest Service Trails and game trails near the cabin. The cabin is rustic with modern conveniences. Weekly discount is $500.00
The cabin has wood siding, blue stain pine interior except the bathroom which is cedar. The floors are oak except the bathroom which is tile. The cabin has a washer and dryer and full kitchen. There is a queen size bed upstairs and futon downstairs.
There are no other structures on the road leading to the cabin or in the vicinity of the cabin yet it is about ten minutes from both Oakridge and Westfir on forested land.
  • Quiet cabin in the middle of the woods. Cozy, warm, has everything you need.

  • This place is exactly as it says it is! Wonderful! We just needed to get away from society and that's what we got. Really clean, great trails nearby by and covered bridges! Looking forward to returning in summer time.

    Paul2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • A quiet, well-cared for cabin surrounded by beautiful, rugged woods.

    Stacy2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • The Lone Wolf cabin was a very peaceful getaway for our weekend in Oakridge. We loved how Bob took the time to add personal touches to the check in process and made sure we were settled before letting us be. The cabin is clean, conveniently located, and contains all the amenities we were seeking to unwind and unplug (including the absence of WiFi to avoid temptation!). Our hound also felt very welcomed and enjoyed her stay at the cabin as much as we did :) We hope to be back again in the future!

    Mary2020-02-12T00:00:00Z
  • This is a gem waiting for discovery. This cozy cabin in the woods was a perfect getaway destination for our birthday celebration. The trails right outside the door offered miles of forest to explore with our dog.

    Jeff2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • What a gem! Fantastic space. Our last minute decision to get out of town couldn't have resulted in a better place to land! Close enough to Oakridge for any of our needs, but hidden enough to feel away from it all. Very well maintained, clean and plenty of thoughtful touches to make this a perfect getaway. Our family can't wait to make it back here!

    Chris2020-02-03T00:00:00Z

  • What a great place! Secluded and quiet, but a 5 minute drive to town with plenty of restaurants and a supermarket. Bob’s cabin is the perfect mix of rustic and functional (with all the amenities of a house). I would like to stay here more, and now I want a cabin like his!

Creswell is known as one of the friendliest small towns in Oregon and is located between Eugene and Cottage Grove on Interstate 5. Our little paradise is surrounded by farmland with views of Mt. Pisgah Arboretum, which is roughly a 15 min drive. Mt. Pisgah can be found in Howard Buford Recreation Area, which has many horse-friendly trails. The University of Oregon, in the heart of Eugene, is roughly 15 minutes away.
  • Amazing place and hospitality. I can’t say enough nice things about it. Beautiful, warm, inspiring. And the bed was extraordinarily comfortable.

    Laura2020-02-24T00:00:00Z
  • Allen's place has an amazing location and is super charming! We arrived to a friendly greeting from Allen after a long trip to Creswell. He showed us around, made us feel at home, and we were very impressed with the little farmhouse, privacy, and abundant amenities, treats & goodies. The private deck will be wonderful (once it warms up). The bed is COMFY!! (a very important, often overlooked feature.) We'll definitely be back!

    Mary2020-02-18T00:00:00Z

  • This was my second stay in this location and I loved staying in the cabin. My dog also loves his time here as he gets to spend time admiring the horses and flowing creek behind the cabin. Such a cozy, spacious country stay.

  • Allen's place was so great! We needed a place to stay that allowed dogs and that could act like a home base for us while we were visiting family for the holidays. This place provided exactly what we needed. The yard out back has a creek and was separate from the rest of the farm so our dogs could run. There also is a fully fenced field that Allen graciously let us play with our dogs in. The cabin had coffee, bottled water and snacks, plenty of heat and even dog bowls for our pups. It was just a short drive from Creswell and Eugene. We will definitely stay here again

  • Allen is a great host who always strives to make his guests comfortable. This is and always will be my favorite place to stay when I come to the area.

    Pamela2019-12-23T00:00:00Z
  • Allen's place is fantastic. Beautiful, quiet, amazing stars! Loved meeting the horses and Allen and Donna are treasures, just so nice.

    Nicole2019-11-25T00:00:00Z
  • The stay was fabulous! It was remote, relaxing, and just what we needed. Allen was very helpful and responsive whenever we reached out. We will definitely be back!

I love that Tired Dog Ranch is it's own little village - three separate dwellings and fun, usable auxiliary buildings on diverse 18 acres surrounded by national forest, and bordered by year-round Grey Creek (Dogfather of this gloriously diverse land). It is the perfect combination of woodland and pasture, with orchard, lawn, chickens, horses, dogs and farm cat to entertain daily. The neighborhood is rural, but the grounds are very private. For those who want to camp and "glamp", there are a number of campsites in the upper meadow with composting toilets and a "Cadillac Campsite Kitchen and Shower Shelter" so you can cook without charring your meal on a propane 4-burner stove, wash the dishes (set of 12 plates, plastic and ceramic cups, 20 silverware, towels, S & P, utensils, pots and pans on hand) in a real live sink (hot water and soap on hand) and dry them in a rack. Two private hot shower stalls with dressing area and hooks for towels are dreamy when the day of play is done and sleeping sweaty in a sleeping bag feels sticky and smells stinky with the sunrise(no sea shells by the seashore were harmed in the making of that sentence). The central fire pit with wrap seating is magical for roasting hot dogs, marshmellows and warming tootsies while howling at the moon and constellation of other noteworthy stars with a collosium of second and old growth trees nestling you to sleep as owls croon you to stay an chat a spell.

  • We had an amazing stay at the Cowboy Cabin! The decor and theme of the cabin was horse-tastic. The property had lots of cool trails to wander around, the horses/donkey were very chill, the chickens were fun to watch, Simba the dog was SO NICE and friendly! Sally also responded so quickly and nicely whenever we asked for help. The property is right in the middle of Willamette national forest and close to some amazing hikes. The small town is also close by so you can still get groceries easily. So fun, would return for a nice retreat into the outdoors.

  • It's a cozy little cabin in a ranch that I would say comfortably fits 4 and if you can squeeze in 5 :) She had 3 lovely dogs and a fire pit with seating around that made our day. It might be tricky to find this place and you are in a zone of limited connectivity. So make sure you note down the instructions that Sally gives you and if you follow them you'll be fine. WiFi is spotty so if you plan to be connected, you might want to consider another place. But besides that it's a great place for a family and for the love of horses :)

Located steps away from The Portal, trails await you and your bike! Oakridge is only a few minutes down the road. There are shuttle companies available for lots of fun days on the trails. The North Fork of the Middle Fork of the Willamette is steps away and the temperature is perfect for cooling down after a day of activities. We've been busy renovating the house and can't wait to share it with you!
The house was built in the 20's on a site that was previously a tent city where the workers from the mill across the river lived. The foundation on the corner of the lot was the Mill hospital. Across the covered bridge and to the left is where the mill used to be. Now it has magnificent views and blackberries galore (when in season).
Our neighbors are so friendly and helpful. Be sure to say Hi if you see them.
  • The Portal house in Westfir Oregon is AMAZING! Only 40 minutes from Eugene & 30 minutes from Oregon’s 2nd tallest waterfall, Salt Creek Falls. The town of Oakridge Is only 3-4 miles away where you can get groceries & visit Willamette fish hatchery. The fish hatchery has 8-10 foot sturgeons. The home itself is well stocked of supplies & was clean. The beds were very comfortable! Do not be deterred that there is not a television. There are plenty of books & games. Our group had three, thirteen year olds & a twelve year old. There were no issues for entertainment & the internet worked great. Be sure to go visit the trails on the other side of the bridge. There is a train that goes by but it is not blaring loud & it is off in the distance. It did not bother us at all. Comfortable beds, washer/dryer & garage. This place has it all!

Tired Dog Ranch is the last privately owned parcel before the wild woodlands of the western slopes of the Cascade Range. This "Westfir Outpost" (catch phrase for the campsites on the S.E. corner of the property) is literally the farthest east improved land on the south side of the Willamette River, so if you reach an early demise, I have a tractor and the woods don't talk. Kidding.... what I mean is that you will be very comfortably remote from the hubbub of the city, although it is only 4 miles away - two if you can swim across the Middle Fork Willamette River. That said, let's talk Wilderness Safety 101! Wildlife surrounds and abounds. Whether it be deer, elk, raccoon, skunk, coyote, cougar, black bear, pileated woodpeckers, bats, owls, crow, raven, eagle - even stray animals and field mice find their way onto the property. That said, be careful and keep your children and pets under your watchful eye and close at all times. The three "Do's" and three "Don'ts" if you encounter a COUGAR: DO: ACT BIG - flap your arms, coat, shirt, swing a stick, etc., DO YELL Loudly in a deep voice - they are scaredy cats so take control, DO KEEP EYE CONTACT while leaving the area of the encounter and back to safety. DON'TS: DON'T COWER (cougars are stalking ambush predators and will go for the neck or back), DON'T SCREAM (this sounds like a baby deer, squirrel or bird - their prey), DON'T RUN!!! Just like a domesticated cat, a cougar instinctively chases things that run - that translates into a nice meal. If confronted by a BLACK BEAR, absolutely get the hell out of there under control, especially if there is a sow and her baby. Follow many of the rules of cougar sightings with a few changes: If the bear is standing still, retreat slowly and surely - keeping eye contact always. If the bear approaches - be ready to fight by any means possible - carry bear pepper spray, it is important to fight back if a black bear. Don't climb a tree (they an climb too) and protect your vital organs and face - but strike at their face if possible, don't draw attention to yourself by trying to scare it off (this triggers their aggressive nature - use a low calm voice - no other animal sounds like us, so is more unrecognizable - a good thing! It is very rare for a bear or cougar to attack an adult, but children and pets are more vulnerable as they are small like other wildlife these predators hunt for food. Stay in group formation, don't let your dog or kid run ahead of you or fall behind when on the trail. Always have an escape route and give the animal you confront one, too. These basic rules will help make your stay and play more safe and sound.

  • Beautiful setting for a rustic experience. The house holds the historical roots with modern amenities. Sally was kind and communicative. The dog friendly atmosphere was wonderful for a vacation with our dog.

  • Sally's place was such a wonderful respite from the city. Located on a farm, we woke up to seeing horses in the field and chickens. We slept so well since the place was warm and cozy. The kitchen was fully equipped which we appreciated since we were preparing our holiday meal. Sally had many nice touches such as interesting books to browse through and fresh eggs in the fridge. We were able to visit the hot springs just a short drive away. My family and I felt very comfortable and happy at Sally's Place and I would highly recommend staying here.

  • We had a lovely stay in the Carriage "Hen" House! It was the perfect size (and amenities) for our little family of three + small dog. The house was very clean and cozy, and the property and Ranch animals were all gorgeous! Don't miss the little walk down to Gray Creek- so beautiful... Overall, a perfect place to get away and unwind. And Sally is a great host! I was happy to catch her outside and get to ask her more about her lovely little haven. We look forward to returning!

  • We had an excellent time staying at Sally's place. Once we got it warmed up, it was a cold damp weekend in Oregon, it was nice and cozy. It is on a great property with horses and chickens. Be careful and check under your vehicle in the morning to make sure none of the chickens are hiding under there. It is close to some great hiking trails and hot springs. Check out Local Brewers Union 180 for some great english style ales.

  • This is a very cute cabin in a private ranch/farm. We reached after sundown but were soon very comfortable in the cozy hen-house. Everything in the cabin is hen themed. Nice touch. After dinner, I stepped out to see a great starry sky and the Milky Way! After a good night's rest in the warm cabin, we were pleasantly suprised by a whole bunch of hens and a couple of roosters foraging around the field in front of the cabin. Our dog made friends with the owners' cute dog (Simba I believe). With a breakfast of omelettes from the farm fresh eggs Sally provided us, we were on our way. Would love to return again for a vacation and not just a stopover.

The Mckenzie and Willamette River are both easy to get to; with the Willamette River only 3 minutes by car! There are friendly horses on the property and a beautiful view of the surrounding hills.
We wanted to create a tranquil space where people could escape and become immersed in nature. This yurt was built by the owner and hand-crafted to provide an experience like no other. At night, guests can view the night sky filled with bright stars, and during their stay enjoy the company of friendly "retired" horses. Included on the property is a fully functional compost toilet ran off solar power, as well as an outdoor hot/cold shower.
This area is unique due to is accessibility to town, yet still maintaining its private intimate ambiance. The Willamette river is just minutes away, and there are many access points for kayakers or fishers. Located in a rural neighborhood that has an abundance of wildlife, and a beautiful creek to dip toes into!. The yurt is located near Blue River, Springfield, Eugene, and Pleasant Hill.
  • Kris went above and beyond to make sure I had a great stay and communicated very clearly. The yurt is very clean and very earthy with the most perfect view of mountains and the horses. A perfect little get away that's close to town. Make sure to ask her about the cool places because she has great insight!

  • Kris’s place was lovely and we really enjoyed our stay. It was quiet and peaceful and the yurt was stocked with all you would need. We stayed in the winter and she has it set up to stay plenty warm in there! Kris herself was a joy to communicate with - very helpful and kind!

    Alyssa2020-01-25T00:00:00Z
  • We loved our stay!! The yurt was so beautiful! All of the details and supplies inside were perfect. It was so cozy, and the heater inside worked really well and kept us comfortably warm. We loved falling asleep to the sound of the rain, and then waking up to see the horses outside! Kris was a wonderful host. She was so friendly and easy to communicate with, and made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. This was the perfect setting for a relaxing getaway and we would highly recommend!

    Kelly2020-01-12T00:00:00Z
  • As always, my stay here was excellent. And I am corrected from my previous review, there are cooking amenities in the dresser drawers. A hot plate I believe though I didn't use it.

    Sarah2020-01-05T00:00:00Z
  • Kris is a fantastic host. Check-in was a breeze, the yurt was very clean, and the whole experience was cozy and fun. I would definitely recommend Kris's place!

  • Great place! The wifi didn't work but it was great hanging in the hot tub and getting out of town

    Katie2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • Awesome small space for a getaway. We live the fall creek area and usually get out there a few weekends a year to camp, but finding a tiny house with a hot tub on the creek made us want to spend even more time out there. The house is cozy and warm with the use if the 2 small space heaters provided. A gas stove with a griddle made great pancake breakfasts. And the TV and DVD player kept us occupied after a night of soaking in the hot tub. The space was nice and clean and there were plenty of towels and linens. I brought my bike and did a bunch of exploring around the area during the day. If you want a quiet woodsy getaway with no cell phone coverage, this is the place.

    Jeff2020-03-03T00:00:00Z
  • Tiny quiet home with a beautiful location, spots to explore all around and a cute tiny home to relax in. It got a little cold, but we had brought our own space heater that worked well for us in addition to the few available there. Loved this place and will definitely be back here in the summer!!

    Nevaeh2020-02-20T00:00:00Z
  • A wonderful oasis and great chance to disconnect and celebrate with a loved one. We will be back as soon as we can!

    Meaghan2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • This is the perfect private get away for anyone wanting to be in nature but not far from town! My husband and I would stay here again.

    Alisha2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • Staying here was such a joy. A quiet little getaway that really feels private and calm. Definitely booking again!

  • My partner and I enjoyed every minute of our stay. Serene location, amazing amenities, friendly host. Can't wait to come back! Thanks again, Spence!

    Rachel2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • Fantastic experience. The river is gorgeous, the hot tub is top notch, and the location is secluded but still within 15 minutes of getting something to eat. You'll pass quite of a few of the covered bridges by just driving around. Highly recommend a walk or a bike ride around the Dorena reservoir, and you're so close to it! The place itself has everything you need. Fantastic stay, we'll recommend it to anyone.

    Yana2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful cabin directly on the river. Beautiful location. Overall a great experience. Would love to come back some day

    Britney2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • We received very clear instructions the day of our check in so we had no issue finding the place. We opened the front door and were greeted by music playing on the television and a almost floor to ceiling view of a bustling creek rushing past the porch. The pictures shown on Airbnb are very accurate, it is just as lovely as it appears online (no false advertising here!) This place instantly pulls you into nature with calm relaxing vibes. My partner and I had vague plans to find some hikes and check out the local areas and all that flew out the window when we started a fire in the fireplace and cozied up to play some games. Spence graciously provided chopped wood and kindling to keep us warm all weekend. Ultimately, we ended up spending our entire trip enjoying the property, watching our dog fish in the creek, and soaking in the hot tub...and it was splendid!

    Korey2020-02-10T00:00:00Z
  • Absolutely amazing! I spent my birthday weekend here to unplug and relax. Spence had the cabin and hot tub warmed up for us when we arrived. Nothing like a long soak during a cold winter evening. Kitchen was well stocked with pantry staples and plenty of pots and pans. There was even a grill outside. The bed was super comfy. There was also plenty of games and activities available to entertain ourselves. I learned how to read ruin stones! In the mornings we drank our coffee and listened to the creek rush by before checking out the nearby lakes and covered bridges. Overall, a wonderful experience. Thank you, Spence!

    Vivien2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • We loved our stay at Spence's place. The house is settled on a wooded lot with the large creek following by; it was very peaceful. There were unique little touches throughout the house like interesting books and skylights. Spence was so nice and accommodating. Highly recommend staying a few days to rejuvenate!

Their lodge had everything that I needed to have a wonderful stay. They were so thoughtful; they even checked on me and offered assistance and updates when the entire town lost power for a few hours. You can't go wrong with the lodge.

Private camp trailer in a beautiful, serene setting on Bear Creek. Can accommodate up to 4 horses. Turn-out pasture and barn with indoor arena. Dogs allowed but there's no fenced yard. Plenty of parking, including room for a 4 horse trailer. Extra sleeping/living space for 2 in a creekside cabin for $75/night. $25 per horse-includes hay. ** All horses must have proof of vaccinations. Add space
  • I stayed in the travel trailer which is just right for 1 person. Very clean and right across from the barn with 2 horses. Dogs are allowed and you can just open the door and let them out to play on fenced 5 acres - my 2 dogs were the happiest I've seen them - they can run free and they are safe. There is also a creek and a very nice cabin which is also available. The owners are very friendly and welcome you shortly after arrival. Highly recommend.

    Danna2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • I needed a break, a place of peace. This wonderful place was it! I was met by my Host - Allen - shortly after I arrived. I was parked next to the travel trailer and Allen explained The pasture area in front was totally fenced and gated - acres of space for my dogs to run and play - just open the door and let them out - a bit of heaven for the dogs and me. The barn is close with 2 horses which I could visit - perfect, because I have been missing my horses and a creek behind the barn and a cabin. The next day I met Donna, Allen's wife - enjoyed our visits. The town is close by - very quaint with an awesome bakery. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay there. Very peaceful and my Hosts were the best. I felt at home there. I will be returning.

    Danna2020-01-28T00:00:00Z
  • I stayed with my dog and we had a cozy week in the camper. Lots of space for dog to stretch his legs outside and great view of Mt. Pisgah when you open the door. Hiking spots within 10min. Short drive to Eugene.

  • Staying with these folks is always such a pleasure! They are warm and kind and go the extra mile to make things comfortable. There's not a single thing I would change about how they manage their spaces.

  • A wonderful secluded retreat for a couple or single person with a dog. 15 minutes from U of O!! Great value and wonderful hosts!!

    Dennis2019-10-27T00:00:00Z
  • Great place to stay over night, for the weekend or long term. Less than 20 minutes to Eugene. If traveling in a small group, this is your place..there another rental (a cabin) on property. Both are warm, cozy and private!! The camper overlooks 5 acres of completely fenced green pasture- makes it easy to pull truck in, lock gate and unload. Walk the large pasture to the apple trees, pick some to feed host's horses -they are not bothered by the dogs. Soo relaxing after long day. You have stove and fridge so you can cook at camper or less than 10 minutes to Creswell - local grocery bakery & eateries. Stay the weekend to unwind from city hustle. The hosts are great. Quick to respond to any inquiries and made our stay excellent, we didn't want to leave

    Andrea2019-10-16T00:00:00Z
  • Don’t forget to feed the horses! The only place I would choose over this place is my momma’s house. Thank you Allen!

    Warner2019-09-16T00:00:00Z
  • This was my first solo stay in a camp trailer. It was very clean and nicely appointed. Allen always thinks of nice touches like thirsty towels in generous amounts and every other little thing you might need. It was comfortable, quiet and everything was pretty much full size. Always a charming stay and warm welcoming hosts!

Tired Dog Ranch is the last property on LaDuke Rd before it turns to national forest. The South Bank forest service road that continues east from LaDuke Rd. stretches to Larison Rock trail, Greenwaters Park and to Kitson Springs Rd. and Hills Creek reservoir with awesome tributaries and trails to explore. Surrounding the Ranch is untamed second and old growth forestland so I enjoy the quiet and privacy. The Willamette River is nearby with public access 1-1/2 miles to the east, and the moonlit skies at night in the upper meadow are breathtaking. Within the borders of this 18+ acre parcel are trails, a creek, hammocks to laze away the day and critters to engage with. You will get a kick out of the chickens, dog (Simba - border collie), outdoor cat (Orian), 2 Spanish mustang horses (Lydia and Margarita) and one mustang draft (Phileus Maximus Femoris), mini mule (One Eyed Sarah), and pinto pony (Obie Won Kanobi).
  • The cottage was a fabulous getaway. We did a lot of cooking and socializing over Thanksgiving weekend and this was a wonderful respite. Lots of trails and outdoors stuff in the area. The wood stove and expansive bookshelf are a nice touch. Would love to stay again.

A huge tent on the river with plenty of natural beauty six long steps from the magnificent Willamette River. I can do a VIP or “date night” complete with a chef prepared meal served with style on the river.
I have a shower, toilet and laundry room for guests to use a short(ish) walk from the tent.
This area of Westfir/Oakridge is world renowned for its mountain bike trails and amazing fishing. We have fishing in the river and an abundance of wildlife including deer, river otter, elk, quail, bald eagles, osprey, ducks and geese all on the property. While I haven’t seen any, there are bears and mountain lions, so be prepared just as you’d do anywhere.
  • Great space, right on the water. Super pretty and was as expected.

    Christopher2019-09-08T00:00:00Z
  • This was the perfect peaceful getaway and with one of the kindest host I ever met. Super fast text responsive and extremely flexible and understanding. The rushing river right next to camp is super relaxing and the bathroom/laundry was more then expected while camping. Also right next to a very cute helpful town, highly recommend stopping at host coffee shop for your morning pick ups also.

  • Beautiful location! Would recommend to anyone.

    Alyssa2019-08-21T00:00:00Z
  • Such an amazing place 😍😍 stayed for 1 night on a road trip though Oregon. Would stay there again in a heartbeat.

    Magda2019-08-12T00:00:00Z
  • Eric's property was awesome. That spot on the Middle Fork Willamette is simply gorgeous, with braided river channels, the sound of running water and more. Our small group was conducting a freshwater mussel survey nearby, and his campsite worked fine for us. Myriad birds could be heard in the mornings, from water ouzels, to pileated woodpeckers. The short walk to the shower and bathroom was no problem. Also Oakridge is about an 8 minute drive away, if that. To summarize, go camp here - it is great.

    Travis2019-08-02T00:00:00Z
  • Erick’s place was great! The tent by the river was a beautiful spot to camp at. There are chairs and a hammock set up too.

    Mary2019-07-28T00:00:00Z
  • Amazing!!! So peaceful and beautiful location. Perfect basecamp for weekend of mountain biking.

    Mark2019-07-22T00:00:00Z
  • My family and I needed a place to stay on our way north and we wanted somewhere fun to explore. Erick's place was perfect. After he showed us to the campsite, we had the place to ourselves. Especially enjoyed having the river right there and my dog was stoked to be able to sniff around and dip in the pond.

Welcome to an upscale rental in the heart of Oakridge. Our newly renovated apartment is located above the Brewer’s Union Pub, with great views of town and the local mountains. Enjoy all the area has to offer, by being right in the center of it. Clean, comfortable, and with direct access to both town and all the adventures Oakridge’s surrounding area has to offer. Perfect for couples or solo travelers. Book with Uptown #2, to accommodate 2 more adults and/or those with kids.
You will have the whole open, light-filled apartment, as a private unit, with your own kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom. With refinished hardwood floors, new appliances, newly installed ductless air conditioning and heating, new memory-foam mattress (and pillows!) quality household items, a modern updated bathroom, and a separate bike storage room, you’ll feel well taken-care of on your vacation. Wait! If you think this sounds like another listing, you are correct! Next door’s Uptown Hideaway #2, was remodeled and updated with the same quality and charm. Each delightfully hospitable unit has some differences for you to consider when choosing between the two. This unit features a few more modern touches, a full-sized refrigerator, windows in both the bedroom and bedroom, and a more romantic touch. The other unit (#2) has a television and pull-out sofa for toddlers/older children (this unit has neither). If you’re travelling with another friend or couple, but desire your own space, booking both units would make for a great option. Both units are located in the same building next door to one another. There is a separate bike storage room for your use (to be shared with Uptown Hideaway #2). Also included: -Coffee, tea, sugar, and basic spices -Sharp knives (we are picky about this when we travel!) -Quality bedding -Carpet-free unit Your friendly, well-behaved dog is welcome to join you on vacation. There is an additional $25 pet fee to be paid through AirBnb as an "extra service". All dogs must be socialized and non-aggressive towards humans and other dogs alike, and may not be left unattended. Please note: There is a train that runs through town. The pub is located downstairs. While Oakridge feels like a sleepy town, there is a potential for some noise from time-to-time. (We have provided ear plugs and a noise machine for those light-sleepers who might appreciate this.) On Saturday evenings there may be live music at the pub, which may make the closing of the pub run later (by a half an hour to an hour) than normal; this may not be the rental for you, if you know you'd be bothered by this! We have everything you need to make this a true vacation get-away. The kitchen is fully stocked, bathroom supplied with amenities, and a huge map of the area to help you plan your adventures.
The best location in town! Above The Brewer’s Union Pub. Mountain and town views! Private and yet in the middle of all the action.
  • A cute and cozy place to stay! We loved the calm vibe. Lindsay’s place made for a great weekend getaway.

    Katie-Ann2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • Once again (for the third time), super comfortable stay! We even had friends over for a meal and had plenty of dishes, plenty of room to hang out. A true gem in little Oakridge! Lyndsey is a very attentive host.

    Sandra2019-12-27T00:00:00Z
  • Definitely a cozy place for 2. Very cutely decorated lots of texture. Lindsay was a wonderful host quick with communication and ready to help. Everything thing was shiny clean.

    Deelain2019-11-29T00:00:00Z
  • This is the second unit of Lyndsay's we've stayed in and it did not disappoint! Really cozy, classy, clean and comfortable. I highly recommend it if you find yourself in Oakridge. You will be impressed!

    Sandra2019-11-23T00:00:00Z
  • It’s a perfect spot for if you want a some easy access to food/drink and sometimes a little live music. It’s great.

    Dillon2019-10-27T00:00:00Z
  • This space is incredibly clean, cozy, and spacious! The hosts were kind, accommodating and responsive. Cannot wait to visit again!

    Hillary2019-09-29T00:00:00Z
  • Lindsay’s place is great. It had everything we needed for our “work remotely so we can bike our hearts out” vacation. She has the best displays, decor, and amenities. We appreciated the secured storage for our bikes most especially, right behind the super comfy bed.

    Patty2019-09-11T00:00:00Z
  • Wonderful and simple use of space, with all the amenities to cook for yourself. The bike storage room was great for helping us sleep well knowing our babies were safe at night. The bar noise didn’t bother us, mainly because we were downstairs listening to the live music and mingling with the locals. Great place to stay while exploring all that Oakridge has to offer.

This rural neighborhood has sprawling trees, foothills, farm land and animals. Our community has a unique feel. It is quiet yet bustling with life during every season, but especially spring. Colors are HD especially at sunset, and on misty mornings when it hangs in the air mid-tree level - it truly is what fairy tales are made of.
  • Nice people and cozy room.

    Joe2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • What a charming community. Learned a lot on the tour of the property and had a lovely walk by the river. Room had everything we needed and was nice and warm during our winter visit.

  • Perfection when it comes to peace, serenity, and real raw nature. What an experience, and I suggest if you want to unplug and take in the sacred breath earth is providing this is the place. Victoria is spot on with communication and everything is as explained. Can’t rave enough.

    Joshua2019-11-18T00:00:00Z
  • Staying at this Airbnb is a unique experience that I recommend. When I arrived I had a bit of trouble finding the building I was supposed to stay in but Victoria was there in a minute or two to direct me to the right building. The room was nice and the bed was comfortable. The rural location was very peaceful and I enjoyed seeing all the animals such as the chickens and the rabbit. I was able to cook in the "outdoor kitchen" which was a unique experience because other people would wander in and friendly conversations could start. I was able to buy some bulk corn grits from the indoor kitchen to cook for breakfast. Victoria organized a pot luck one evening, I cooked some collards from the garden and about ten people showed up. I really enjoyed that! This Airbnb provided a nice home base for me while I moved to Eugene from the East coast. I started a new job and found an apartment in Eugene while I was staying there. I hope to go back there in the future for one of their ecstatic dance events!

    Tom2019-07-12T00:00:00Z
  • Had a very pleasant and free experience here. Victoria was quick to respond and everyone was so nice about my cockapoo puppy, Waffle. Peaceful and everyone makes you feel very welcome. A great place for an out of technology experience.

    Anto2019-07-07T00:00:00Z
  • It was a peaceful and quiet get away from town. We love being out in the country environment with nature and trails!

    Chantal2019-06-30T00:00:00Z
  • I had an excellent stay at Lost Valley. Victoria was an incredibly generous and attentive host. The room was clean and comfortable, and made a nice home base for exploring LVEC. If you travel regularly through Airbnb, you may find the bathroom and guest kitchen are not nearly as clean as you may be used to. But if you’re visiting Lost Valley to attend an educational program or learn about intentional community, you will probably be much more engaged with what’s going on around you to pay those things much notice. Lost Valley is a unique and fascinating destination. The people there are wonderful and the land is beautiful. I’m very glad I had the chance to visit!

    Sue2019-05-26T00:00:00Z
  • Lost Valley is a unique place for folks who might be looking for a different kind of Airbnb experience. I went on what I believe is an average week and participated in as much community life as I could. I spent one morning joining a work party that was cleaning up fallen branches and trees post snow storm some weeks ago. I spent another morning joining a garden party, and then assisted one member as she gathered a group together to help with a specific farm chore. I went to a board meeting, ate at community meals, and on Saturday joined an impromptu jam session for a couple of hours in the lodge. I spent several hours speaking to community members about their experiences and gained much insight as I contemplate my lifestyle and future needs. I enjoyed my experience very much and would encourage other travelers to get involved if they have a mind to.

The Westfir/Oakridge area is on the main line of a major railroad. The City of Westfir is within a "no whistle zone" so train noise is limited- however you will still hear the train, especially the heavy freight trains going uphill. We have noticed that Friday night seems to have the most trains. We are on the main road through town and there can be some traffic noise from time to time. There is currently quite a bit of thinning logging going on and log trucks on the road from time to time. We find the noise kind of soothing but if you don't, we have some earplugs in the bathroom cabinet just in case. Is the cottage a place for guests with young children? Due to proximity to road and river guests with young children should be advised to be extra vigilant. The house is yours to enjoy with a washing machine, fully functional kitchen, towels and linens and cozy furniture. Oakridge is a larger town a few minutes by car away, with more stores and restaurants and amenities. You will have the place to yourselves, we will be just an email or phone call away. • Very nice cottage with access to the river where you can swim ( be ready for cold but clean water) and ty to catch a fish. Good hiking, biking around.

    Alexandre2019-08-14T00:00:00Z
  • Very comfortable

    Awhite2019-06-29T00:00:00Z
  • Very cute cottage comfortable and extremely quiet.

    Daniel2018-09-09T00:00:00Z
  • Very nice cottage with river access for fishing, quiet area not far from town. There was a train that passed, but nothing that disturbed my sleep. Close to several state parks, was a great place to stay if mountain biking in Oakridge.

    Jonathan2018-08-17T00:00:00Z
  • The Westfir house has a great charm to it. Comfortable, clean and good views. Quite area and close to downtown Oakridge. No disappointments.

    Jerry2017-09-14T00:00:00Z
  • Julie is a fantastic host. She is super communicative and has a ton of helpful info about the Oakridge area on hand. Her cottage was a perfect home base for our mountain biking weekend and the nearby river was excellent for a quick dip to cool off after riding alpine. We will definitely be back (hopefully soon)!

    Lori2016-09-06T00:00:00Z
  • Julie was very accommodating and made me feel welcome at her house. It's a very quite little town but only about a 45 minute drive to Eugene. The house flows very nicely and easily accommodated my wife and me and our 3 kids and one of their friends.

    David2016-08-05T00:00:00Z
  • We booked the Westfir River Cottage on short notice to help us bridge a gap during our house purchase. Glad we did! The cottage was a wonderful place to rest our weary heads for a week. It was perfectly-sized for the two of us and our two pets. It's a neat little house, with a somewhat funky interior layout. Everything was in good working order . Julie and family have done a nice job making it a turn-key vacation rental, while not glossing over the yesteryear charm. It's in a great location for experiencing all the Oakridge/Westfir have to offer. If you're a fisherman, hiker, or biker, this is a great spot to spend a bit of time. We fished most evenings we were here; there are several nice areas within 20 minutes of the cottage. Even though we're (relatively) local, we'd consider renting the cottage again for a brief weekend getaway.

Welcome to The Lodge at Hills Creek; nestled in the foothills of the Cascade Mountains and tucked into the Willamette Forest, it is the ideal setting and accommodations for a vacation escape. Set on five acres, surrounded by mountains, trees, and trails, and perched above the reservoir (with direct lake access--please note water levels fluctuate and some seasons might have lower levels), this private and intimate lodge is ready for your next getaway. #oakridgeescapes on instagram
The Lodge at Hills Creek redefines what a vacation rental is meant to be: whether you plan on getting out for the multitude of outdoor adventures, or staying in to watch the dramatic views from indoors. Avoid the mosquito swarms you'd find at Odell Lake or Crescent Lake, at our lower elevation getaway. We welcome you to bring your friends, family, or organization to The Lodge to hideaway in our Oakridge escape, enjoyable in all four seasons. The Lodge at Hills Creek was lovingly and masterfully hand-built, with local timber, by a remarkable craftsman. His design provided the many windows to capture the views, a spacious layout for family connection, and a painstaking eye for detail; all helping to create this unique and unforgettable space. There are two master bedrooms, with attached bathrooms, and two loft bedrooms, all carefully appointed with luxury and comfort in mind. A woodburning stove provides both ambiance and heat in the cooler months, while a central air conditioner gives comfort in warmer months. An open floor plan for the kitchen and living area allows for group engagement during meals and cabin time. The wrap-around porch is the ideal spot for your happy hour or morning coffee as you watch the mountain scenes and lake from above, while the kids and dogs play in the yard. The location is the other half of what makes this property special. Only miles from town, minutes from hiking and mountain biking trails, steps to swimming/boating/paddle boarding, less than an hour from Willamette Pass and Waldo Lake, and surrounded by National Forest, you can’t feel this close to nature, while still sleeping in comfort. Our place also makes the perfect base for those wanting a day trip (two hours by car) to Crater Lake. Also provided: -A gas grill to bbq -A fully equipped kitchen -Access to a private dock (water levels fluctuate due to it being a reservoir and water does not reach the dock) -Brand new memory foam beds (all rooms), new pillows, linens -Private trails on the property to explore -Trail books and maps to plan adventures -Lawn games -Sharp knives (something we appreciate when we travel) -A fire pit (with season/fire ban appropriate) -Laundry room We also own the Hills Creek Hideaway vacation rental, a quarter of the mile down the road, which will sleep another couple wanting to be a part of the the Lodge but requesting more privacy. Your friendly, well-behaved dogs are welcome to join you on vacation. We will send a request for an “extra service fee” for $25/per dog close to your arrival date. Failure to claim/pay for dogs, or follow pet guidelines, will result in a $100 security deposit forfeiture. All dogs must be socialized and non-aggressive towards humans and other dogs alike, and may not be left unattended in the house.
*A truly unique PNW experience. *There are several houses in our forest community and therefore, we take our neighbors' happiness very seriously. This is not the house for you if you're looking to have a loud party.

  • We had a wonderful family get together for Thanksgiving weekend and Lindsay's place was just perfect. The kitchen was awesome and well stocked with everything we needed. The beds were comfortable and the place is big enough that everyone could have their own space. The decor is very stylish and everything is available for your utmost comfort. The views are beautiful out every window and what we all commented on and especially loved was the peace and quiet and no internet!! We would love to come back during Summer and be able to go swim in the lake.

  • What a fantastic getaway! We had 4 adults and 4 kids and everyone had a great time exploring the property and all of the nature that surrounds. The house is very accommodating and has everything you will need for a fantastic trip!

  • A well-appointed, comfortable home. We loved the outdoor fire pit with the thoughtful touch of having blankets available. It’s a beautiful place to wake up in the morning, the maps and guidebooks were useful, the kitchen is great for cooking.

  • Wow, the cabin was gorgeous! We will be booking this cabin for any future mountain bike adventures in Oakridge. The carport was fitted with bike hangers and a hose to wash the bikes, there was an awesome path to a little tree fort on the property, and even though the reservoir was low it was amazing to wake up to a view of it every morning. Tons of space in the house with a nice fire pit and BBQ in the back.

  • Our stay was refreshing and the area beautiful. Be warned cell service is almost non existent unless you go into town ... it was what we needed ... to decompress and relax . The lodge is nicely furnished and very comfortable and clean . The view was the best part of this stay . It was beautiful and serene. We fished from the lake out front and hiked the local areas . Rick and Lindsay were as quick to respond as they could be , given the lack of cell service in the area. The house had everything you could need and we have very intention of returning. Cheers Gloria & Kevin

  • A great space to share with a large group. It's close to town if you need supplies, but also within 30-60 min of plenty of outdoor spots in the Willamette National Forest. My questions around guests and the space were all answered quickly and Lindsey was very accommodating with a late checkout when one of our group had car trouble. We hope to be back next year!

This is a really nice space with a new Queen 15 in pillow top bed. A nice futon couch that doubles as a full size sleeping space. A nice kitchen fully stocked with what you might need to prepare a simple meal. The bathroom is small with a shower only.
This room is in a small mom & pop motel. We offer out door picnic area with gas BBQ's for your enjoyment.
We are rt next to Salmon Creek which is a great place to ride your bike or walk along. Green Waters park is across the street with the river for fishing, hiking & miles & miles of mountain bike trails.
  • Nice motel with modern touches. The kitchen is well equipped for simple meal prep, and has a fridge/freezer. There are a few restaurants close by, as well. There was plenty of hot water and nice towels. The bed was comfortable. This was a great stop for us between Crater Lake and the Portland airport.
