We were very warmly welcomed, in advance, there were all the necessary information by Matze. The cabin is very cozy furnished and very nice. The barbecue area has us very much. Everything as described. We recommend.

Matze and his father where really great host. When i showed up to pick up the keys they fed me some really good traditional german food and fresh chesecake. They where really open about check in and check out. The cabin is really cozy. Great if you want to get away and have a relaxing weekend in black forest. There is no electricity and internet so great for disconnecting but you can charge your devices in the bathroom. The bathroom is detached a couple minutes down the hill and its really nice. There is a nice place to make a fire and also bbq. Overall i had a really good experience and would recommend it to anyone.

The cabin was much more beautiful than the picture. A cozy little hideaway in the small town of Schenkenzell. We were greeted very friendly and we were all important shown. For each pair simply time out from everyday life and would like to enjoy the togetherness ideal. Thanks for the memorable three days :-)

Cute little cabin à la "Back to nature" to relax and unwind. Matze and his family looked after very loving to us, had to answer all questions and even brought us on Saturday and Sunday breakfast to the door. The only slight drawback is the sanitary situation. The bathroom is about 2-3 minutes walk away. The rest was really great, thank you again for everything !!

My partner and I had a wonderful time in the cabin. Matze and his family were very very nice and accommodating. On Saturday we got even brought a breakfast in bed. All in all, highly recommended!

The cabin is very cozy and great. But you should be aware that there is no electricity (except for a small LED lighting) and that there is no running water. The furnace makes the cabin quickly warm. The toilets and shower are 1-2 minutes from the cottage, so similar to the campsite. I think that might just even with the price at least be mentioned. We would receive super nice, with extremely great cappuccino and homemade cakes in the restaurant next door Schlössle.

We had a great stay at Doris's place. It was spotless clean bed was comfortable and the area is just beautiful. We enjoyed or talks with Doris and would have stayed longer but her place was already booked. Thanks for the great vacation memories

really great brand new forest-style barn conversion. remote in the black forest. great rooms and bathrooms and good countryside nearby. doris is a great host and her breakfast is delicious. highly recommended.

This was one of the best B & B we have ever stayed in! Doris is a delightful, friendly hostess and welcomed us warmly into her beautiful home. She served a wonderful breakfast and nothing was too much trouble. The room was luxurious, clean and large with a beautiful view of the fields, mountains and her 6 cows!

A beautiful and cosy home. My daughter loved the big piano in the living room. She played for hours.... So many board games to keep kids entertained .... Aldona and her son were extremely friendly and helpful gave us suggestions about how to go about the city and things to do and where to eat. Excellent location..... Breathtaking views of the mountains from the house..... Thank you so much. We are definitely planning to come there again when our parents come to visit us.

Aldona was the perfect host. The bottom level of her family's house is yours for the stay. It's like little home away from home. It's clean, tidy and has separate bathroom, toilet, kitchen. The view from her house is a postcard perfect look at the forest. There are plenty of little walks around her house, but Alpirsbach is ideal as a base to explore the whole forest. Alpirsbach is a quiet little Black Forest town with a very good brewery! Aldona is happy to give you lots of ideas about where to explore. She has lots of brochures in many languages about the local area and the forest. The flat is very tidy and has a piano if you want to play it. The kitchen is fully equipped if you want to save money by cooking at 'home'. Aldona and her family made me feel so welcome and I hope I can visit there again if I'm ever in the Black Forest.

Such a warm welcome, we arrived to a whole cake (still warm), two bottles of the local beer and the fire burning. The whole family were friendly and helpful, they went out of their way to give us lifts to/from the station, show us short cuts to town and just check we were okay. The house was clean and cosy in a beautiful valley. Absolutely wonderful, we would definitely recommend this.

We had a great time, comfortable bed, all the amenities we needed. Great suggestions for excursions, notably the Allerheiligen falls. We loved our breakfast and dinner on the terrace.

What a wonderful family! Our stay at Aldona's apartment was lovely, she and her family could not have been more welcoming, I would have no hesitation in recommending this apartment to others. The apartment has everything you could need for a relaxed stay in the Black Forest (even a beautiful old piano!) The apartment is only a short walk from a very pretty little town and close to lots of scenic walks. The apartment has safe parking and a table and chairs outside for admiring the view. The apartment (although part of their home) is extremely private with its own entrance and plenty of living space. If you're looking to stay in a small German town in the heart of the Black Forest, don't look any further than Aldona's!

We visited Alpirsbach in last week of October and we choose to stay at Aldona's apt. She and her husband are very accommodating , huge apartment kitchen equip , the family are staying on the upper floor. The road to the house is a bit stiff and elevated but the view is all worth it, we rented a car and used the navigation so finding their house was so easy. There is a church over looking from house and chimes every hour. The hosts speaks only German, luckily my partner speaks a bit of German so communication when we need something is easy. We stayed at Marlis apartment a second time. Marlis is a perfect host! She was extremely helpful and friendly. We felt very welcome and at home. Marlis helped us in a difficult unexpected situation. Thanks to her help our problem was quickly and efficiently solved. We could not have been happier with her hospitality and stay at this apartment. In short, we HIGHLY recommend staying at Marlis! We hope to be coming back one day!!

Marlis has shown very nice and helpful; the communication was clear and we had no problems with either check in or the check out (we even came to say goodbye in person before departure!). The house is well maintained and very clean, as well as being in a peaceful and quiet place. Upon our arrival we found the breakfast in the fridge for the next day and a couple of beers brewed on site (there is a brewery nearby). The country is in the middle of the Black Forest, in a central location that facilitates the exploration it. You have to pay a small tax, but in exchange for the possibility of free use of public transport of the area. Absolutely recommended!

Marlis is very friendly and helpful, and she wanted us the best. The flat was recently renovated and all is new, it is also fully equipped and one can find everything what need, like at home. I spent 6 weeks with my wife and we are pleased. Flat is located in small but nice town, known form beer Alpirsbacher Klosterbräu. The house is set in a beautiful area of the Black Forest. It is ideal place if you like walk through forest, the Black Forest is wonderful. Was a pleasure being a guest.

Marlis's apartment was perfect; it was well equipped with everything we could have needed, spotlessly clean, comfortable and only a few minutes from town. Marlis even very kindly stocked a few essential supplies before we arrived, have us pointers on the local area and was always on hand. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone; it was tremendous value and I would definitely happily stay again.

We stayed for four nights in this very nice and comfortable house. Our host Marlis was very friendly and helpful, being able to provide us with lots of information about the area which is really beautiful. Many possibilities for hikes in the beautiful nature of the black forest with lots of rivers, lakes and an interesting history. The house itself has everything you need to make your stay comfortable. Lovely quiet area, only 3km from the village of Alpirsbach. The kids loved playing in the street with their frisbee. Nice view and lots of room for the kids to play. We recommend Baumwipfelpfad, it's a bit of a drive (Bad Wilbad) but it was fun for the whole family, and the view was beautiful.

We felt comfortable in the well-appointed house Sweden. It is located in a small village near Alpirsbach in a residential area. From there you can walk directly into the forest and a small waterfall. Other attractions we visited by car. The apartment is maintained.

Lydia is a good hostess, very friendly and trusting. She lives in the immediate vicinity and is well directly or reached by phone for questions or problems. The property Waldfee is very pretty, spacious and artfully modern in some warm Farbtötnen and equipped with everything it needs. I have a beautiful house Sweden three nights rented alone for a training near, so I have not really lived much in it, stayed longer. But I could also imagine a relaxing holiday in it and highly recommend this address me! Thank you dear Lydia!

This is a large, attractive, well provisioned and very comfortable apartment. It surpasses the description on site. The Kinzigtal area was an excellent base for exploring and walking in the Black Forest. We had some difficulty with unreliable internet connection which caused some anxiety because we were relying on the Internet for news about elderly parents. Apart from that, an excellent apartment.

Linda and her mom were very welcoming and Linda even provided us a great list of things to see and eat in the area in English....which we did almost everything on! Great place in the middle of the Black Forest, superauthentic and ideal for kids.

make us waited at the door for over 40 min just because we checked in after 8pm. Figured out that the host had no idea we were coming on that day and the reception closed after 6pm. Very poor communication. The room is nice though with an spacious balcony.

The hosts were very hospitable and generous, even bringing me breakfast from the bakery when I didn't have anything to eat that morning. Beautiful, quiet home, with a lot of room to relax. This location is AMAZING!!! Roman and Connie are wonderful host. My family and I were looking for a quiet, relaxing vacation, and this provide just that. There are views everywhere you turn in the apartment. Snow was very plentiful while we were there. Roman and Connie provided some cross-country skies for my husband and me, and snow boots for my daughters. We had a blast heading out into the forest. If you like running there are endless possibilities for some good trail running. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I highly recommend staying here!

Exactly the relaxing Black Forest vacation we were looking for. Roman and Connie were fantastic hosts, and the place was quite, private, spacious, and clean, with great views in every direction. Roman and Connie provided bikes for exploring, maps for hiking, and tips for sight seeing in the surrounding areas, not to mention interesting conversation from a world-traveling, documentary-producing couple. The house is about 2 km from fresh milk and eggs, and great hikes of varying difficulties (from easy to challenging) sprawl in every direction from the front door. If you are looking for a quiet place to recharge your batteries, we highly recommend this place.

Roman and Conny were great and were always on hand if we had any questions. We had a really enjoyable stay and it was the perfect place to relax for the weekend.

The stay was incredible! Lilia and Andy were very helpful and warm. We arrived late due to the delays while driving but they stayed up to wait for us till 11.30pm, after which Andy even help us with our luggage. The place was spacious and very well kept. Everything was in place and the facilities were in great conditions. The place is definitely a must if you are passing by or looking for a quiet getaway!
