The house is fantastic Clara. It has everything you need to spend a few days in Sicily in an authentic house of the Sicilian countryside. Its location was very convenient to visit Palermo, Cefalu and Agrigento. We were 11 and we were very comfortable. Elena and Clara are lovely and very attentive, with a lot of interest in our well being. It was my first experience with airbnb and I have been delighted. Thanks Elena and Clara !!!!!

Rosemarie was a welcoming and gracious host. She was waiting for us at her lovely home on her family's estate. She arranged for a tour of the family winery along with a tasting. Her assistant was happy to show us how to make a delicious Sicilian appetizer. What a wonderful experience! The friendliness along with the incredible views made this a memorable stay.

Our stay at Rosemarie Tascas was the highlight of our trip. The tranquil estate is absolutely gorgeous, with rolling hills covered in vineyards, Olive trees and more. Rosemarie s warmth and hospitality along with her quiet charm enhanced our stay. She made a nervous traveler in a foreign land feel at home. You knew the food was prepared with love I would recommend to anyone. Stay here and travel to other towns to tour, then come home to Regaleali.

Andrea is very friendly (by email as we didn't meet him during our stay) and you can count on him for advices and informations about the region. Also thank to Stefano who has hosting us on our arrival. We found a large rustic home nestled among fruit trees with a large garden and a beautiful view of the surrounding mountains and village. The home is situated in a quiet location apart from the village of Sclafani Bagni. The rooms and the dining room are spacious and we quickly felt like at home. Because of cool weather we have not been able to enjoy terraces or the barbecue. But we liked a lot this authentic, rural and mountainous region. A true moment of happiness in the Madonie despite sometimes quite long and curvy road to get to the start of hiking path into the heart of the park. The house was great and Andrea is a very involved owner. Everything was very clean and in tip-top of each other. Andrea and Stefano are very helpful and will do everything to make the guests feel!

The contact was very smooth and fast. The house is exactly as described and you feel right at home. Great location and atmosphere. We were very kindly received by Stefano in the local bar. On request, he came to bring wood for the fireplace. Really friendly.

Delightful stay on the mountains, in a very well described by the housing announcement and photos. Space, charm and authenticity, quiet, dark night, host availability. We loved the beautiful cows and goats that pass daily near the house, and the side lost on the mountain. Large outdoor area nice. We were 4 adults and 1 baby, and we recommend!

The place is amazing, a beautifull, tranquil and rural farm house, cozy and quiet. a lot of nature and a lot of space around. The house description was accurate and the place was perfect for us. The only real problem we encountered was due to the drive going to sclafany. Being new to Italy we didn't understand that "strada provincial 58" is a name of a road and not the address of the house. When we used the rental car GPS it took us to nowhere and trying "fix the problem" using (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) maps to get from "Nowhere" to Sclafany Bagni was even worse. We found our self driving on very problematic side roads that were quiet dangerous. A couple of the roads to Sclafani were closed and that is something the guests should know. Even now, Trying to make the rout using (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) maps from Palermo leads to an imposible rout because the way from scillato to sclafani bangi is blocked! an hour and half drive took us almost 5 hours. don't let the drive there intimidate you the drive back took us only an hour an a half going on good roads. Maybe it was only our comedy of errors that made the drive there so bad….

What an amazing place to stay... The peace, especially at night, was so utterly relaxing. In August it was wonderfully hot in the day time but with really pleasant cooler evenings to play cards out on the terrace and to sleep deeply at night. The local village, Sclafani Bagni, is incredibly picturesque and the views all around the house are breath-taking. Each morning you can hear the goats' bells clanking as they walk up the mountainside nearby and you can fetch fresh crunchy bread and peaches from the village. We loved it! Don't forget you will need CASH in the village as they don't take cards - the nearest ATM is in Caltovuturo about 20 minutes drive away. The two Agriturismo farmhouses nearby that Andrea recommends are quite different to one another but both very welcoming with delicious food and offering swimming pools for you to use before or after your meal.

Andrea was extremely helpful always on hand by email and phone to respond to any queries to offer information and assist. Stefano brought us to the house and even though neither of us spoke the same language he was simply wonderful too! We stayed 7x Days with our 2x small children. This is a fantastic house for little people to be safe and have freedom, great views, terraces to sit at, all the amenties a house requires and a great spot to either chill out or use as a base for exploring.

The Villa is beautiful, large and unique. Probably the most amazing place we stayed in. Located in a breathtaking view with a huge amazing swimming pool, well equipped kitchen and nice large rooms. We were a group of 3 families with kids and we had a great week. It looks exactly like in the photos and even better. However, a few important things to note: The Villa is totally isolated, meaning it is 15-20 minutes drive up the mountain, 9 KM from a road. It is 45-50 minutes away from a supermarket! The housekeeper does not speak English and communication with him is not easy, although he and the cleaner are very nice people. 3 of the double rooms have sky light above the bed, making it hard to sleep in the morning We had issues with hot water in the shower. It was fixed every day but we had to ask for it. The Hamam and Jacuzzi that are part of the Villa name and description, we found out that they want to charge extra money for them. After insisting that Airbnb description includes it the owner agreed to open it for us for 2 hours a day.... Other than that, we asked to invite Lucia the chef (we read about her in a tripadvisor review) and she cooked 2 amazing dinners for us, and the cost was a "no brainer".

The ride up into the mountains to Sclafani Bagni was breathtaking, and dinner at the restaurant of Guiseppe surpassed our expectations fully. It is worthwhile in any case, to eat there. Guiseppe and his wife were so lovely hosts that we love to go back! A unique experience on our trip through Italy!

The place is very beautifull; the pool, the view cats and dogs... you'll find peace & quiet here! Breakfast was nice (with home-made products!), the rooms are very good (protected against the heat, very clean) - all in all a good place to stay. We consider the place however to be slightly overpriced (room prices and additional costs). It did seem to us everything does come at a price at Giuliana; (for example) we were invited for a simple dinner but turned out to be paying €18 per person afterwards - which we think is high.

Home sympathique..chambres very pleasant and very propres..petit lunch copieux..le fun by the pool with a view exceptionelle..pour randonnions us who walk in the Madonie it was a moment of true lovers of repos..pour riding and equestrian endurance something to talk about his passion with the daughter of the house, national champion ... we really recommend the place because even if the road does not go away, it is not at all embarrassing. .a good starting point for hiking in South Park Madonie

This wonderful stay and one of the highlights of our trips. We were surprised to find our room to be very roomy overlooking a nice, small garden. Everything was spotless and meticulously clean. We had a dog with us and the hosts were able to accommodate him upon request. The hosts were both very friendly. Our first night was greeted with a 20 Euro per-person menu dinner which had an abundance of food, all homemade and stemmed from their garden, and as much wine and limoncello you can drink. They offered a 5 Euro per-person/per-day breakfast each morning which was definitely of value. We were greeted with delicious organic products directly from their garden. When we requested to eat outside, both Mario and Anna had no problems accommodating us. They also have a laundry option, which, in the middle of our two week trip, was very convenient. Anna recommended a horse riding facility that was quite nice in the nearby town as Giuliana was not available during our stay.

Cette charmante maison entourée d'arbre fruitiers (pour des confitures maison) est très agréable et l'accueil chaleureux. La table d'hôtes (20€ avec vin compris) est une bonne cuisine familiale, très copieuse et fait avec les produits frais du jardin ! Seul regret, être arrivée trop tard (et une journée trop venteuse) pour profiter de la piscine !

Siamo molto bravi e gentilmente ricevuto dalla famiglia di Dino. La posizione è in una zona bellissima e la piscina è molto piacevole nei giorni più caldi per rinfrescarsi. La madre di Giuliana una cuoca eccezionale e abbiamo assolutamente apprezzato e il padre di Giuliana abbiamo ricevuto pere fresche quasi ogni giorno a colazione. Una splendida posizione nel centro della Sicilia in modo da poter visitare molti luoghi, assolutamente consigliato.

Amazing !! the house is beautiful, very comfortable, quiet. What we really liked is the home of the family, the opportunity to eat with them and taste their delicious Sicilian cuisine. The mountain view is splendid and more in the middle of August, as it is a bit high, it is much cooler than the coast. We will return for longer! Thanks for all Chantal and Emile and 4 children

We had a great stay at Giovanni's place in the beautiful Alia countryside! The house was clean and very bright, and the property is great for kids, who loved the dogs and the beautiful tree house. Giovanni provides an organic vegetable basket directly from the garden, which was delicious. If you want a tranquil stay in the Sicilian countryside, I can highly recommend this place.
