Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Saint-André-de-Valborgne

Due to personal circumstances we had to rearrange this holiday 2 times, of which Remy was very understanding. We booked the villa based on how well the photos looked but were really not ready for just how much better the place was in reality! Le Magnanerie is tucked quietly away in a totally idyllic spot in a gorgeous old French hamlet, boasting the most impressive westerly views across the private pool of the Cévennes, with stunning sunsets. The covered outside area is spacious and perfect to escape the direct summer sun, and the thick stone building is naturally cool. Comfortably set over 3 pretty floors with portable air conditioning in the loft bedroom area. Kids bunk beds are perfectly placed and even though everything is wooden, nothing creaks. Local agent Deborah was very helpful and after driving from the UK, we were pleasantly surprised to have had our best family holiday to date here! We rarely return to holiday destinations, however we will certainly be coming back. Merci

A simply magical place; a nice cozy and charming house in a green setting! An incredible environment, so relaxing and calm! The river nearby is great! The hardest part is leaving, as we would have liked to spend more time! A little gem in the Lozère countryside! Mathieu is available and really attentive: a big thank you! One thing is for sure: we're keeping an eye on the calendar! Because we'll be back!

A perfect idyll with the friendliest of hosts.

The house is in a beautiful setting in a beautiful part of the world. There are many superb walks you can do from the house and many more a short drive away. Everything is as described and worked without problems. Very well equipped. Pascale answered any questions promptly and provided excellent local information. If this is your sort of country the house is thoroughly recommended.

We felt very comfortable in Frederic's house. It is nicely decorated with the countless books. If you turned on the light on the terrace in the evening, you could watch a beautiful natural spectacle with many butterflies and bats directly above you. If you are looking for peace and solitude, you will find it here. It is not far down to the river where you can refresh yourself very well. For a supermarket or a restaurant visit, however, you are dependent on a car.

We spent 3 days at Carine's place. The cottage is very beautiful and decorated with taste. It was very clean upon arrival and has a large number of amenities. The setting is very peaceful, surrounded by nature, but both close to several places of interest. We will definitely stay there again, it was a very pleasant experience!

We had an unexpected break at Cinthia's. Every detail is designed for our well-being. We had a great time sharing and laughing. We discovered lots of relaxation devices that we can easily buy. We weren't able to try everything in 3 days, it's too short. We'll be back, we have to.

This accommodation is by far the cleanest we have rented! Everything is impeccable. The place is super quiet. The owners were kind enough to install a shade sail on the pergola to protect us from the heat. A real luxury! I would recommend it without a second thought!

We had a great time at Frédéric's place. He welcomed us warmly, with a lot of sympathy, and we had very good discussions. He was very accommodating and available throughout the stay. The accommodation is ideally located, very well equipped and above all very quiet, which allowed us to rest well. A address we recommend without hesitating!

A perfect little house to escape to! Ideally located in the Cevennes, super quiet, decorated with great taste and well equipped. With extra pool and beautiful pétanque track... And hosts available, responsive and very friendly!

Wow! What a stay. This lovely chalet is in a quiet secluded area, with amazing views over the landscapes of the Cévennes. It has everything you might need - stuff for laundry, cooking basics, and a great gas BBQ! It was a great base for seeing some great sights, and we would definitely stay again. The only thing to note would be that there's no step-free access to the property.

Wonderful stay in this peaceful place designed and maintained with love by Vanina and George. It is a home that keeps us immersed in nature in contact with the elements. The irregular Lauze stone from floor to roof, the wind that can rush into the upstairs bedroom through the windows without woodwork when it is not the first rays of sunshine that invite themselves at the foot of the bed -very comfortable -. The -hot - shower in the open air facing the mountain covered with a magnificent forest of chestnut and holm oaks. This place is worth it since it is almost 30 minutes from the nearest shops, after beautiful winding mountain roads. Don't forget to arrive with some groceries on the first day! If you're not looking for beauty, authenticity, simplicity, go your way. For the others, you will be spoiled.

If you love peace, nature and freedom, this place is fantastic. A beautiful, diverse environment with many hiking trails right next door, but also further away. We explored the region by car and took several walks with the dog. But coming back was always a party, and then we received a warm welcome from Wallace, in a nice, well-kept and tasteful cottage with everything on and off. Admired the starry night from the deck chair and the last night a thunderstorm spectacle as the icing on the cake. Haryhanta provided the delicious and fresh eggs in time and she was there if we needed anything. We highly recommend it and we would love to discover more in the Cévennes at Harryhanta.

We had a great stay at Eugenie and Kader's! The accommodation is clean and comfortable, there is everything you need to cook! The terrace is very pleasant for dining with a view of the flower beds. We loved being in the company of the animals throughout the stay, and the welcome by the hosts was very warm! Well placed for hiking!

Perfect accommodation, quietly located. It is equipped with everything you may need. Even with 35 degrees outside, the accommodation remains cool. I recommend it! Thanks
