Stephanie is a great host. We were able to check in early and check out late. We stayed for a week and the location is just amazing. You are literally steps away from the beach. So when you are sitting on the patio with your morning coffee, you can see the beach. There are lots of restaurants around and the St. Lawrence Gap is only a 10 minute walk away. Stephanie also arranged an island tour for us and booked us a taxi when we had to go to the airport. The rooms were clean and the AirBNB has everything you need. I would definitely stay there again. Thanks for the great service!

Nice house on the beach, close to a lot of food places

We had a great time at Jacqueline's place. The place is comfortable and peaceful at a great location near the sea. There garden is nice with shade from the trees and we enjoyed the ocean view from the sofa. Very friendly and helpful host. It is recommended to have a rental car to move around, because the place is not close to the popular beaches, supermarkets and markets. Overall it is a great place to stay!

Beautiful house, very nicely done. The house is walking distance from the beach and some night activities. It is also a short drive or walk to various points of interest. Loved it! One thing to note, if you are staying for a week or longer, bring extra towels since a washer/dryer is not available.

We absolutely loved our stay in Barbados! This little cottage by the sea is wonderful and was exactly what we were looking for! The trees provide lots of shade and keep the place cool! There’s lots of wildlife that visits, birds and monkeys! We also saw lots of little lizards in and around the yard! We absolutely loved watching them, it was a highlight during breakfast to watch the little guys scurrying around! The beach access is amazing, you simply walk out the back gate and directly to the beach! There’s a nice little sheltered area where you can swim and relax. It would be a great spot if you like surfing, lots of waves! The cottage was clean and tidy, Adri was great at communicating with us and we were greeted when we arrived! It had everything we needed to cook and live there for our visit! Inch Marlow was very nice, our neighbors were great and everyone in the community was very welcoming! Buffy’s Store is just a short walk away, he has groceries and most importantly rum! Thursday nights is Karaoke, it’s a lot of fun, even if you don’t sing! We loved our stay and would definitely recommend it to anyone else looking for a quiet spot by the sea!

I do appreciate the time spent at Ms. Stephanie's house! I had a really good pleasant time, she is a great host. The house is super comfortable, clean and well organized, as well as the tidy bedroom. From the porch could see the turquoise colors of the beach and to hear the soothing sound of weaves. The location of the house is fantastic, all kind of stores, services and clubs are walking by distance as well as the bus stop that takes you almost everywhere. For sure would come again to Ms. Stephanie's house and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a nice place to stay in Barbados.

Great apartment close to Speightstown. The apartment was large and very clean and had everything you could need for a stay in Barbados. Heywoods beach is very close (20 minute walk, 5 minute drive), with the town centre being even closer than that. The family was also lovely and checked on us regularly to make sure that our stay was comfortable. Wouldn't hesitate to return.

Anneliese and her place are fantastic. We travelled as a family of four and found Anneliese’s place to be the perfect choice. Large grounds for our kids to play and a swimming pool to cool down in. The home is private and surrounded by gorgeous plants including coconut, lemongrass, West Indian thyme and passion fruit. It feels pretty magical. Troops of monkeys even passed through the garden. 10 minutes walk to the supermarket, communal pool and beach make this place even more appealing. Thank you Anneliese and see you again!

Well maintained property in a good spot to explore the whole island. Twenty minutes drive from Central Bridgetown, five minutes drive to some great beaches. Helpful host and neighbours - spacious lounge, BBQ and pool area. Highly recommended.

This is a very spacious house, perfect for families. For me, the best feature was the location two blocks from beautiful Heywood Beach. Some small things were very worn out, like the kitchen scrubbies, and I think there was only one knife for cutting. I feel bad to mention this, because everything else is wonderful for a vacation. This area immediately north of Speightstown is quiet and safe. It is an easy walk to the main bus stop, and the beach restaurants of Speightstown. You know how hawkers approach you on the beach? No one, the entire trip, ever tried to sell me anything. This was my first time in Barbados, but the swimming and snorkeling are fantastic, and the people are easy going, friendly, and a pleasure to be with. Erine, the host of this property, is very responsive. If I texted her a question, I would have an answer in less than five minutes. I feel if we had any complaints or problems, she would have taken care of us immediately. By all means, give this location a try.

Simply beautiful! The house was perfect for accommodating our party of five adults, two children and one infant. We all had plenty of space for both individual time along with family time. Plenty of thoughtful things throughout this home to include a portable crib, work station, lovely kitchen equipped with top notch appliances, quality cookware and many thoughtful kitchen gadgets that came in handy for cooking our family meals. The house is located in a quiet and friendly neighborhood. The Beach is extremely close and afforded us an ocean breeze and a lovely view on the top deck where some of us enjoyed our morning coffee from. We loved our stay so much that we booked another visit in the fall. This was our home away from home. The Host made our stay memorable. An extra thanks for checking in to ensure we had everything we needed to include places to visit while there. Super kind host. As a long time member of AirBnb this location would be rated our favorite.

Hibiscus House was absolutely perfect for our 2 week Feb stay in Barbados. “Common” rooms and patios are larger than they appear in the pictures and all very comfortably furnished. The dining table and space around it are very large. At times we had 3+ adults working in the kitchen - it was roomy & there was plenty of counter space. Loved the laundry area at the back entrance where we “staged” all of our beach stuff. Used all of the AC’s & fans, washer/dryer, stove, oven, refrigerator, blender, BBQ - all worked great. Pots/pans/glasses/plates/utensils were more than adequate for our meals - including dinners. Dawn and Taylor, the local mgt folks, were incredibly responsive when we had a problem with the safe, and all other questions we had were answered quickly and thoroughly. Also checked in with us a few times during our stay to see how things were going. We knew the area but I’m confident we would have received great recs if we had needed them. Would 100% stay again.

Anyone thinking twice because of the reviews about chicken and cockerels, please don’t be discouraged. It is totally normal for the local area and nothing to worry about at all.
