Pascal was absent but was very responsive to our messages. The house is large, well-equipped and cool, especially with temperatures at 33 on the first day. The village has a lot of charm, is preserved and far from the tourism of some villages classified as "most beautiful villages in France". We are delighted with our stay.

What to say except thank you! Thank you to Petra and her husband for their hospitality, kindness, and the care with which they respond to the needs of their visitors. We came with my daughter to this region that we know very well. This is the first time in 15 years of Airbnb rentals that we have found such a functional accommodation. To go into detail, there is even a jewelry holder in the bathroom, clothes racks. Petra and her husband's love of nature is also a delight, the garden is superb. There is even a compost bin... We will return to this accommodation with great pleasure because everything is designed for the well-being of travelers and to make the stay the best possible. A place for the car, the host who opens the gate for you when you leave… We loved it! Thank you very much 🌱☀️

The place is very quiet and therefore very suitable for us and our pets. You can reach many interesting sights within approx. 1 hour drive and grocery stores within about 10 minutes. We were very satisfied and can only recommend the place.

The accommodation matches the listing, faithful in every way to what we expected. Even though we did not have the pleasure of meeting Stéphanie and JG in person, our telephone exchanges were very pleasant, responsive and warm. A very good experience, thanks again!

A truly unforgettable stay! This private, spacious boathouse was an absolute dream. From the moment we arrived, we were wowed by the unique character and thoughtful design—especially the stunning bolted ceiling that give the space more charm with a touch of grandeur. The bed was comfortable, making every night restful and serene. The bathroom was great with a big walk-in shower, and heated floors were a luxurious bonus we didn’t know we needed! Everything was spot on, blending comfort with a sense of adventure. If you’re looking for a stay that’s both cozy and strikingly unique, this is it!

Corinne and Antoine are very good hosts, it was a very nice meeting! The accommodation is very well designed and well equipped. Very pleasant stay in François' beautiful villa, tastefully decorated, very well equipped, with a superb quiet terrace and heated pool. I highly recommend it, ideal for a family stay where young and old have fun at will.

Quiet stay in the countryside with background music, river singing. Great for stays in a large tribe. The house is spacious, very well equipped, moreover with taste. Nothing is missing and Tony and his wife are very friendly, available and attentive. Canoes allow a safe walk to discover the environment for all ages.

charming stay at Ingegerd's, very well appointed typical house, two large gardens, charm of the property, very quiet, we loved it.

A gem of a place ! It is not easy to find places in the region that are not exorbitantly expensive or furnished from grandma's leftovers; this hits a perfect note with a mixture of stylish antiques and comfort, everything has been thought of down to the Savon de Marseille in the bathrooms! Clearly lots of love has been poured into the house and it shows, from a well stocked larder with everyday essentials (including coffee pods for the machine) to the lovely welcome hamper. The garden at the back overlooking the old monastery is perfect and very secluded and even though it was only April I managed to eat outside each morning and evening (there are 3 other terraces too). The host is on hand easily for tips on where to eat or visit if needed. Tusson is a great village with a good places to eat including the wonderful Gateaux for amazing cakes.

We had a wonderful week in this accommodation. Everything was as advertised, very clean, well-equipped and conveniently located. The host was very responsive, welcoming and thoughtful throughout the stay. We felt right at home! Special mention for accepting our two dogs without any problems, it has become rare and we really appreciated it. Everything was in place for a successful vacation. We had a great time at Laurence's place. She is an extremely responsive host and her cottage is perfect for a few days in the Cognac region!
