Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Saint-Julien-de-Peyrolas

Due to personal circumstances we had to rearrange this holiday 2 times, of which Remy was very understanding. We booked the villa based on how well the photos looked but were really not ready for just how much better the place was in reality! Le Magnanerie is tucked quietly away in a totally idyllic spot in a gorgeous old French hamlet, boasting the most impressive westerly views across the private pool of the Cévennes, with stunning sunsets. The covered outside area is spacious and perfect to escape the direct summer sun, and the thick stone building is naturally cool. Comfortably set over 3 pretty floors with portable air conditioning in the loft bedroom area. Kids bunk beds are perfectly placed and even though everything is wooden, nothing creaks. Local agent Deborah was very helpful and after driving from the UK, we were pleasantly surprised to have had our best family holiday to date here! We rarely return to holiday destinations, however we will certainly be coming back. Merci

Exceeded expectations. Coffee machine was also excellent. The home really has a heart and would highly recommend for anyone looking for a peacful retreat that feels great for the soul. Kitchen was well equipped and bedrooms were hotel standard. You can tell alot of love and time has been put into the furnishing and decor. Landscaping surrounds were a joy to explore, enjoyed sun bathing, a little ping pong, walking amoungst the trees with the family, exploring the orchard and lavender field followed by Rose and movie nights in the extremely comfortable living room. Ellen and Aries were incredible hosts.

Our stay with Marie and François in Ménerbes was a truly memorable experience. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely cared for and warmly welcomed. The property itself is beautifully rustic, with an understated charm that reflects its authenticity. The apartment, housed within the stone walls of a 12th-century structure, offered a unique experience, particularly for those with an appreciation for history. We were especially delighted by the presence of the resident cats in the garden, which added a warm and homely touch to the idyllic atmosphere. Dinner was of outstanding quality, and the breakfast, though light, was well suited to the setting and our expectations. We would highly recommend this location to anyone seeking peace, character, and a genuine connection with the Provençal way of life.

We had such an amazing stay at this beautiful farmhouse in Suze-la-Rousse! The home is beautiful—spacious, stylish, and super comfortable. The hosts were really attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. We had a private chef during one evening (recommended by Anais) and he was absolutely incredible. The house came with plenty of linens, a fully stocked kitchen, and all the BBQ equipment we could need. There were also extra services available that made the whole experience even more special. Honestly, it was the perfect stay. Huge thanks to the hosts for making my partners 40th one to remember ☺️

Nous avons été très chaleureusement accueillies dans ce superbe logement ! Tout est parfaitement aménagé, confortable et fonctionnel. Le jardin entièrement clôturé était un vrai plus pour mon chien, qui a pu en profiter en toute sécurité. Nous avons également beaucoup apprécié les petites attentions à notre arrivée, qui ont rendu notre séjour encore plus agréable. Merci pour tout, nous reviendrons avec plaisir !

Nous venons de passer 15 jours et le beau temps était au rendez-vous, pour celles et ceux qui recherchent le calme et la quiétude c'est le lieu idéal ! Christine et Philippe sont accueillants, chaleureux, disponibles et soucieux du bien-être de leurs hôtes. Ils ont été de bons conseils pour les sites à visiter, à la fois dans le Gard et dans l'Ardèche qui est à peine à 10 km Nombreux lieux à visiter notamment le pont du Gard, le Pont d'Arc et les gorges de l'Ardèche en canoé, la grotte de l'Aven Orgnac, les cascades du Sautadet, les arènes de Nîmes ....) La maison est bien équipée et les commerces de proximité se trouvent à Barjac à 3km Nous avons passé un excellent séjour !

We LOVED our stay in Avignon! The location is absolutely perfect. The home is large enough to host a big family, the pool was a special beloved feature of our children. Robin bought us groceries ahead of time and the amazing Rosè wine available was delicious. A perfect stay! We fell in love with Avignon.

Pictures of the terrace can’t possibly reflect how fabulous it is. Same for the primary bathroom views. And it’s all very private. Parking is easier than we expected—5 min walk to public parking—buy a monthly pass for 20 Euros, and you’re all set (thanks to Rogier for giving us that tip!). Gordes provides easy access to all of the villages of Provence. Definitely a 5-star stay and a 5-star experience.

Wunderbarer Urlaub in dieser ruhigen und sehr schönen Unterkunft! Das Gelände, der Pool und auch das Gebäude sind sehr gepflegt, man fühlt sich direkt wohl. Die Ausstattung ist tadellos und lässt wirklich keine Wünsche offen. Luigi war besonders zuvorkommend und hat auf Fragen immer sofort reagiert und ausgeholfen! Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

Une parfaite petite maison pour s’évader ! Idéalement bien placée dans les Cévennes, hyper calme, décorée avec beaucoup de goût et bien équipée. Avec en sus piscine et belle piste de pétanque … Et des hôtes disponibles, réactifs et très sympathiques !

Every little thing was perfection! The space was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Located on a country road, it was quiet and private. . Lovely farmhouse with antique details, yet modern and light. Jessie and Andy are superb hosts and responded to all questions and requests quickly. Such a lovely family with the 2 girls and two pups—fell completely in love with Tya, an English Springer Spaniel. Great location to visit all the sweet towns and villages of Provence. Would go back in a New York minute!

We truly enjoyed our stay, a perfect location to unwind and immerse yourself in nature. It was a nice surprise to find so many animals: a horse, super cute dogs and a cat. The garden is beautiful, you can walk around, go down to the river, enjoy quietness and pure nature all around. The road to the location is also very nice - like a hidden path through nature. It’s definitely a place to come back to, with an amazing energy. Even two nights restore you fully and feels like you stayed much longer than this. Not to mention a stylish and tastefully decorated house. You can find all you need. Amazing both side terraces - to enjoy a morning sun and a sunset.

Fab place, great social spaces for our group. The location was gorgeous. Lisa was very accommodating and let us check in two hours early and communicated well throughout. We all enjoyed our stay at the house and thought it was very reasonably priced. The parking area is very tight behind the gate if you’re driving a large people carrier, so takes a little while to park, but still serves its function well. A neighbour dealt with us during our stay - only speaks French - so good to keep this in mind if you don’t have a member / speak French yourself. Luckily one of our party spoke French, so it was fine. The neighbour wasn’t very warm but definitely didn’t take away from a beautiful place in a gorgeous village and a great stay. It was clean, the pool and games were fab, and the BBQ was brilliant. Definitely recommend the local cafe / pub for drinks in the evening too, it’s gorgeous!

Ce logement est de loin le plus propre que nous ayons loué ! Tout est impeccable. L’endroit est super calme. Les propriétaires ont eu la gentillesse de nous installer une toile d’ombrage sur la pergola pour nous protéger de la chaleur. Un vrai luxe ! Je recommande les yeux fermés !

This old converted water mill makes a lovely family house, perfect for all generations. It is isolated (no need to worry about children screaming in the swimming pool) and surrounded by beautiful countryside, with signed hiking trails in all directions. You can walk to the very attractive village of Lussan for an ice cream or drink, (but any sort of food shopping does mean a car journey.) Our group comprised grandparents, parents and three children (aged 3 to 8). The children loved the pool, the trampoline and the bikes. The adults enjoyed boules and molkii. (There's also table tennis and lots of board games.) Vincent, the owner, lives close by and we were amazed at how quickly and efficiently he came round to deal with any little problems.

Cécile est une personne très rare et juste parfaite !!! Sa maisonette est magnifique , et dans un lieu calme .. tout est à proximité, et tout est idéal chez elle !!! Cécile est une hôte excellente et nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir et très rapidement !!! Juste parfait et rare!!!!

Agréable séjour dans cette superbe maison ! Nous reviendrons avec plaisir 😀 Aussi bien les espaces intérieurs et extérieurs sont très bien conçus et très agréables. Le petit village de saint paulet de caisson est très mignon et vivant (restaurant, boucherie, caviste, boulangerie…)

Gîte spacieux , très bien équipé et décoré, domaine magnifique, dommage le temps ne nous a pas permis d'utiliser la belle piscine. Les vidéos réalisées par Emma pour faciliter notre arrivée étaient claires et précises d'où une arrivée sans problème. Les livres mis à notre disposition ont été particulièrement appréciés par ma maman et notre chien a pu participer à notre séjour !!!! puisque ici les chiens sont acceptés !!! Très bon séjour je recommande vivement .

Janet and Philip were great hosts providing us with the history of the amazing location and its renovation. Every room was spotless and was exactly as described in the posting. It was a great convenience to have breakfast, snacks, and drinks provided. Staying at the castle was breathtaking and was a dream come true for our teenager. It is highly recommended.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour avec notre bébé et notre chien. Serge est accueillant et réactif. Le logement est paisible, sans vis à vis, spacieux, bien équipé et nous pouvons nous garer juste devant la porte d'entrée ce qui est appréciable.

Notre sejour était parfait. Logement idéalement situé a proximité du centre ville et de la rivière pour pouvoir s'y rendre à pied (pas besoin de prendre la voiture). Peu de fenêtres dans l'appartement mais cela garantie une fraicheur pendant la période de canicule que nous avons connu là-bas. J'espère pouvoir revenir.

A little slice of paradise and perfect for a couple. Quiet, private and with the most stunning views from the upper garden. The lower, paved, garden area is wonderful for eating outside, relaxing or having a dip in the pool. Offering both sun and shade at any time of the day. The cottage is spotlessly clean, very well equipped, comfortable bed and bags of character. Tamara was a wonderful host, incredibly welcoming and had lots of great recommendations.
