The house is a traditional Normandy longhouse, made of granite, wood and tile. There are 185 square meters of indoor space. The farmhouse has been sensitively restored using traditional materials. La Pichardiere sits in the heart of the Normandy countryside far away from busy traffic in a secluded two acre garden set in a corner of a regional park (equivalent to a National Park in UK) -- It is a place to escape from city life! I love its peacefulness and the presence of the natural world.

Lovingly restored gites, set in the rural , tranquil and picturesque countryside, great for a summer break relaxing by the heated pool, April-October, or a cosy winter break in front the log burner, lovely walks, great for cycling, outside space to sit , dine and relax , or a spot of early morning yoga on the lawn with just the birds singing . Only a short drive to local amenities , such as bakeries, Italian restaurants, super market & sites of interest, as seen in our pictures.

Lots of hiking opportunities, close to the greenway (Paris – Le Mont St Michel), 5 min drive to shops. On sunny days, it will be nice to bask on the lawn or in the shade of the trees after enjoying a good barbecue. Note: one bedroom with a double bed and 2 extra beds installed in the living room.

Our old bakery is part of our farmhouse. On the ground floor, it is equipped with an equipped kitchen and a shower room with toilet. Upstairs, an attic bedroom has 3 separate beds. Outside, our guests have access to a private terrace with garden furniture. For breakfast, we offer bread made on the farm from cereals grown by us. Close to the greenway, walkers will appreciate this stopover.
