Really lovely peaceful cabin, perfect to place to rest and recharge! Vikki-Jo was really responsive to all our questions and all the details on the place were super clear. Very beautiful location too!

We stayed in May half term, beautiful lodge in a peaceful place and with everythingyou need, the hot tub eas a lovely addition and the kids really enjoyed that. Would definitely go back, Jessica was a great host and we had a lovely stay.

We had a great 2 night stay here, Wallis responded quickly to a couple of questions we had. The pod was easy to get into with the instructions provided by the host and once inside it was pristine and cozy exactly like the pictures, no detail had been overlooked, the hot tub was lovely. The site was super secure, lots of cctv and electric gates into the site. The grounds the glampsite is set on are peaceful and able to have a nice little walk around.

We had a wonderful time at the Bothy! The location was beautiful with views over the vineyard and countryside. The Bothy had everything we needed, with great attention to detail. We loved the hot tub and fire pit and couldn’t recommended this stay enough! A perfect bank holiday get away from London. We enjoyed walking in the local countryside and even went on a day trip to Cambridge which was really easy- we just got the park and ride which is about 50 mins away. Thank you for having us :) we will be back!

Booked a long weekend away with my husband and two girls and had a wonderful time! I would 100% recommend Wakes Hall Lodges; the location is so peaceful (you wouldn’t even realise there are other lodges nearby!) lovely views as well. Check in was so easy and the lodge was spotless on arrival. The hot tub is a great feature and was so nice to relax in. Really spacious inside and comfy beds. I would recommend eating at the nearby Swan pub- food was great! Will definitely be looking to book again!

Lovely little cabin in a beautiful and peaceful location! Everything was to our liking, the hosts are warm and welcoming, and the cosy cabin was exactly what we needed! Everything was clean and tidy, and the back yard is just gorgeous!

We had a lovely stay. The cargo pod was just big enough for us and the facilities were great. The patio furniture could do with an update, but overall we are really happy

The caravan was spotless, well decorated, very homely and included everything you could need. It's in a convenient location on site and very roomy inside. The host was really good with communication and made sure to send us everything we needed in advance and checked in with us during our stay. Will definitely be staying again!

The lodge was very clean and comfortable. There was so many little touches, which Kate had in the lodge, including the emergency toiletries and homemade cookies, which was such a lovely gesture. The lodge was fully equipped with all essentials, Kate has really thought of everything. We walked to the local pub for a drink and the locals were so friendly. Any questions which I had, were answered in a timely manner. I would definitely recommend this lodge and give it a 5 star rating.

Sandy was there to meet us on arrival which was really lovely. She couldn’t do enough for us and we felt welcome. She was contactable at all times. The accommodation was spacious and comfortable. The kitchen area was perfect for us and had all we needed for a comfortable weekend. The bed was huge and really comfortable. The cabin was warm and the heating was easy to adjust. It was private and very quiet. Very safe and secure. It’s a really beautiful location and if we are in the area again we’d definitely try and book a slot with Sandy.

What a lovely find. Patricia is very helpful and friendly. The accommodation was easy to find, the local Indian was walkable, and delicious. Great for what we needed.

Fantastic lodge, just as described, spotlessly clean, everything you could need. Ideally located to visit Maldon, Burnham, Leigh on sea etc. Good choice of country inns and cafes. Would definately stay again.

This was the first time we have used an Air bnb, it was really easy, Kim was really prompt at replying to our messages and fulfilled our requests. When we arrived we met her husband, he was very friendly and helpful.

Lovely little place, was immaculately clean and had everything we needed. It was great to have the BBQ and seating outside so we could enjoy the sun. It was also good to have the passes for the clubhouse and pool. Our little one loved the Disney theme, especially all the Stitch items. Area is very peaceful, great views across the estuary. All the staff on site were very friendly and helpful, we had a great break.

Beautiful day in Hi-de-hut! Perfect location, there was everything we needed. Syd was a great host, enthusiastic about his hut and wanted us to make the most of our day there. Beautiful location by the sea, with the docks, marshes, pier, cafes, playing field, play area, it was perfect. The locals are so chatty, we loved hearing about the history and hidden secrets of Harwich and Dovercourt. Would highly recommend the hut to anyone, its perfect for everybody. We will definitely be returning during the summer.

The barn was lovely, very quaint and in a beautiful setting. The beds were really comfy and the bathrooms were clean. Although it doesn’t have a kitchen the little coffee and tea set up in the hall was ideal. The accommodation is on a farm and it was lovely waking up in the morning and seeing the sheep.

We had a fantastic stay! The caravan was absolutely lovely — very clean, spacious, and well looked after. It had everything we needed and felt really comfortable from the moment we arrived. The location was perfect for the wedding we were attending nearby, it was walking distance to the venue which made everything so convenient. A big shoutout to the host Scarlet, who was incredibly helpful throughout our stay — quick to respond and even offered to help with check-in. Truly top-notch customer service! Would definitely recommend and wouldn’t hesitate to stay again. Thank you!
