Very nice quiet location in the village of Loix. Beautiful house with all comforts, decorated with great taste. The property is a 5-minute walk from a bike rental shop, so it's perfect for touring the island. I recommend it!

An excellent weekend spent in this beautiful accommodation. Matches the photos and descriptions, even beyond expectations, it seemed bigger than in the photos, very positive. Clean place where we felt at home: cozy, cocooning and warm. A beautiful exterior for breakfast and other meals outside. A big thank you to Audrey for her exchanges and availability. We had a lovely weekend at Yann's family home. The house is located in a quiet and tranquil environment, and close to the beach (not accessible to PRMs) which is relatively wild and uncrowded (at least during our stay at the end of April). The house is in a great location and makes it easy to radiate on the island. We were 8 people (4 generations) but everyone was easily able to have their own space sincethere are 2 separate sleeping areas and 4 bedrooms in total, the dining room table is well suited for the number of people, the whole house is level which was appreciated for the older ones. We came with our dog, the garden is perfectly fenced and secured. Finally, in advance, Yann was very responsive when booking and provided us with a detailed guide for self access to the house as well as a guide to shops and sites to visit.

Very nice stay at La Flotte! The accommodation is great and matches the photos, in a peaceful residence. The center is 3 minutes by bike, everything is easily accessible. We recommend!

Great stay at Stéphanie's house. Everything is as described and well organized. The house is a 2-minute walk from the ocean and very close to bike paths, market, village, while being quiet. It is extremely practical for a relaxing vacation! Thank you to Stéphanie and Déborah for the quality of communication and kindness. I highly recommend it!

We had a wonderful stay at Francis' house. In addition to a lot of charm, it also has a large garden, which is ideal for a trip with a dog. We liked the friendly atmosphere and the trust of the host: in the key box we found the key and the holiday could begin. The house had everything you ideally need: bicycles, parasols, barbecues, games... even dishwasher tablets, detergent and a few basic groceries. The location of the house is great, you can quickly reach the market square and also the beach. We would have liked to have stayed longer, but hope to be able to come back soon.

We had a wonderful trip to Ile de re and loved staying at Claude's gite. It had all the necessary amenities and we loved the outdoor space, high ceilings and the character of the cottage. It was charming. The location was great, overlooking fields and a two minute walk to the bike shop and carrefour. Claude and his wife were very welcoming. We will definitely be back to stay!

We spent a wonderful Pentecost weekend at Villa Isis Atlantique in Portes-en-Ré. The setting is simply idyllic: the house is spacious, tastefully decorated, and perfectly equipped for a stay with family or friends. The garden, the bowling alley, the half basketball court, the pool table and the swimming pool add a touch of serenity and luxury that invites you to relax. We particularly appreciated the proximity of the beach and the center of the village, while enjoying absolute calm. A big thank you to our hosts for their warm welcome and availability. We leave with memories in our heads... We will come back with great pleasure!

We had a great stay in La Couarde sur Mer. Everything we needed was provided and the accommodation was easy to get to and check in to. The space was clean and tidy and shared pool was great too. Highly recommend!

Ile de Ré is definitely an expensive destination, but well worth it! I recommend visiting outside of August if possible, as it can be quite busy and prices tend to be higher. We were very lucky with the weather during our stay — it was unusually hot and humid. Keep in mind that the house does not have air conditioning or fans. I mentioned this to Didier, the fabulous host, and he has since purchased fans for the house, which is much appreciated! The location is perfect for families and friends, allowing everyone to enjoy their preferred activities: biking, relaxing at the beach, or shopping in the charming local stores of La Couarde.

Wild Dunes was even better than we expected. Clean, bright, airy with good size rooms and air conditioning in the main rooms. A beautiful garden, with a great pool, loungers and furniture plus outdoor games (petanque court, chess, darts, table tennis). 10-15 mins by bike to the local boulangerie and port. 1 hours walk to the lighthouse which was great with the dog. Clara and Pascal were lovely hosts. Always willing to help and make suggestions, without being obtrusive. While it was not an issue for us and only my opinion, the garden is great for adults and older children but not what I would call 'foolproof' for young children or 'excitable' dogs. Various steps, flagstone paths with pebbles and only a small grassy area offer some risk of accident. Having said that the pool was great, with good safety features and our dog had a great time communicating with the other dogs and there was plenty of room at the front and sides to sniff around. So maybe I'm over thinking it.

We had a very good stay in this apartment on the occasion of a wedding in the area. The location is perfect, very central, which allowed us to do everything on foot. The accommodation is clean, well furnished and very pleasant to live in. Ideal for enjoying the island! Thanks again for hosting us! We'll be back :)

We had a lovely stay at Angélique and Christophe's. The house was well located, comfortable and well equipped. Angelique was very responsive on the phone. The instructions were clear and detailed. 5 minutes' walk from the port of La Flotte where there are plenty of shops, restaurants, a market... And there is a beautiful beach 10 minutes away. The pool is very clean, heated and part of it is quite deep (2.20 m) so great for swimming a little. We recommend this family accommodation

Great stay at Chris's in Loix! Very nice and functional house, a quality exterior. Ideally located for cycling around the island. Loix is a very pretty village away from major sights. Our host was very responsive in answering our questions. Recommended

Beautiful and spacious house in very central location in Le Bois, close to the market, shops etc. Very well equipped kitchen. Lovely courtyard garden. Our party of 6 adults had a most enjoyable stay, enjoying both cooking and eating delicious local produce at home and going out to local restaurants.

We had a very good stay, Claire was very flexible on arrival and departure times. The house is very well-equipped and pleasant. Well located, in the center of Rivedoux and close to the beach. I would recommend it!

the house is pretty and modern. everything is well studied. the equipment is very complete. ideal for 2 couples because 2 separate sleeping areas. located 2 steps from the port and the city center. we will come back.

Typical house of Ile de Ré, very pleasant with its garden and summer kitchen. It's big and well laid out. Its location is perfect . A stone's throw from the port and its shops, like the Arnérault beach. Alexandra is very welcoming. Don't hesitate to book their parking because in high season finding a spot can be complicated. We had a lovely stay .

Benoit and Isabelle were great hosts. Isabelle welcomed us at the house and gave us some great tips and places to go on the island. The house was clean and had everything we needed, with a lovely outdoor bbq. It was perfect for our stay.
