Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Salamanca

To clarify some questions that I had myself before arriving to the apartment: * I have been living in this flat for 3 months and I haven’t seen a cockroach. Just in case, Jonathan took the complaints serious and set up some traps in the flat. * Yes, there is no service inside of the apartment, but the wifi works perfectly! * There is not that much natural light, but that somehow also makes the flat very cozy (as the description says) * It is located very centrally, even though it might not look like that on Maps. Since the apartment is in the ground floor, the air is a bit humid inside. Opening the windows a lot helps, and there were also some dehumidifiers set up, which made it better too. As for Jonathan as a host, he does his “job” perfectly! He was always available and answered within a couple of minutes. Whenever I had a problem, he stopped by and helped me as soon as he could. All in all, I think there is no better place to stay in Madrid, especially for that price!

Fantastic place, very cosy and Rosario was an excellent communicator. would fully recommend to any couple or solo traveller looking for a base to see Madrid.

Came to Madrid for work and stayed at Oscar’s apartment. Location is super safe, walkable any time of the day. The space is very comfortable, clean, and the communication was great throughout my stay. Highly recommend and I would be back.

Staying at Gustavo's house is paradise. He has thought of every little detail in this spacious and unique home he designed himself. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful, all residential, but at the same time you are either only 2 minutes away from a taxi, or only 5 mins away from the bus, to get anywhere you want to go. Taxi ride from the house to the main attractions is 10 mins or less. It's the perfect blend of tranquility and city life, so easy to get anywhere, and a 10 minute walk gets you to Retiro Park and it's beautiful peacocks! Gustavo is so accommodating and thoughtful, he learned of some complications I had and made some very considerate gestures that most hosts would not even think of. The home is spacious and surrounded by beautiful gardens, perfect for morning coffee or evening wine. 3 full beds and 3 full baths, every amenity you can think of. We fell in love with Madrid and this house, and will definitely return.

The apartment is very beautiful, located in an unbeatable area. We walked perfectly and ate at the restaurants in the area. The apartment is more beautiful in person than in photos and María Elena is charming.

We had a wonderful stay at Bárbaras apartment. The apartment is just a short walk to a metro station or you could head into Central Madrid via a beautiful park. Everything you will need is in the apartment and the pool was a fantastic treat after the hot Madrid days. Thanks Bárbara for a wonderful stay.

The apartment was very clean, bed really comfortable and bathroom squeaky clean. Great location close to metro stations, restaurants, playgrounds for kids, clubs, etc. very walkable area and always felt very safe.

Perfect place to stay in Madrid. Central location in a vibrant part of the city yet astonishingly quiet in the apartment itself. There is an abundance of nearby bars and restaurants and Alvaro recommended a list of the best. He was prompt and helpful in responding to any questions and he and his family could not have been kinder. The apartment is wonderful, spacious, light and with a lovely terrace shared with the lovely neighbours. Highly recommend.

Excellent location and very cozy place! The neighborhood is lovely if you want somewhere that’s fun to explore and a bit off the beaten path. The host was very kind and proactive as well.

Really great location in Salamanca! It's a short walk to Retiro Park, and the neighbourhood was lovely with lots of great looking restaurants, shops and a little supermarket nearby. The flat was cosy, clean and well appointed. We had some late night noise from the upstairs neighbours, but we spoke to Gemma at check out and she was very apologetic. Overall a great trip, thank you so much!!

Glenda's place was a hidden gem in Madrid. From well supplied kitchen condiments, tea and coffee, personal care items and good air conditioning - you can tell Glenda is an experienced host and she puts effort into making her guests feel comfortable. Her place was close to a major supermarket chain, metro station, a gym and walkable distance to the beautiful El Retiro Park. Would highly recommend if you're looking for a sweet home to come back to after exploring the city each day. Thanks for having us Glenda!

I was in the apartment during a heat wave in Madrid and the air conditioning was a real lifesaver. The place is comfortable, clean and very well located. In addition, Manuel was very nice, very attentive and kind at all times. The experience was very good, I would definitely repeat. Thank you for everything!

Place was everything we needed. Subway station within steps and easy travel across the city. Apartment was comfortable and had everything we needed for an enjoyable 4 day stay.

The apartment is newly renovated and everything is impeccable and shiny. It is located in one of the best areas of Madrid and within walking distance of most sights, it is also very well connected by public transport. Gemma's service was perfect and we had a wonderful time.

Apartment was beautiful, clean and comfortable. We liked the location as it was centrally located and an easy walk to restaurants and El Retiro Park. The management company did a fantastic job - communication was great, accommodated our request for an early check in and check out was easiest experience we had in Spain!

The apartment was just like in the description. I was able to enter before the scheduled check-in because my flight arrived earlier. Very nice neighborhood and super quiet. The subway is very close, so mobility in the city was very easy for me. There is a bar in front to have a few beers and eat typical tapas. Jose Miguel sent me the directions very well to get there and sent me places to visit. He was always attentive and very kind I would choose it again if I go back to Madrid. Thanks again 🩷

Great apt and centrally located near Malasaña. Despite being on a big street it was very quiet at night. We had a great stay.

We are very pleased with our stay! The location is excellent and yet quiet.

Such a perfect apartment for a weekend in Madrid. Within walking distance of the palace and central Madrid, including restaurants and cafes nearby too. The apartment had everything I needed and was perfectly set up, exactly how it looks in the pictures. Check in was super easy and Lila sent very clear instructions ahead of arrival and departure. Would recommend to anyone who’s looking for a place to stay in Madrid for exploring the city.

This is a great place to stay - it has everything you need, the location is really good (you can walk almost everywhere, and there is a lot of public transport links around). Alvaro was incredibly communicative and accommodating to our late arrival. I recommend.

I stayed in this fantastic room in Madrid and I can only highly recommend it! The location was perfect, situated in a lively neighborhood full of restaurants and attractions. The room was perfect, cozy and well furnished, with all the necessary amenities for a pleasant stay. In short, it was a super nice experience and I can't wait to go back. I highly recommend this room to anyone visiting Madrid!
