Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Saluda River

Lovely place, very helpful/responsive hosts (Chris/Chrisi and Kim)beautiful and serene surroundings with easy 10 minutes access or less to Lexington and all its restaurants/shops. The home is older but key areas have been updated (kitchen and master bathroom). Our kids loved the double full bunk beds downstairs and the fire-pit was great for family time/smores. The dock was perfect for turtle/bird watching. Highly recommend!

What a beautiful and relaxing place to go. A true hikers treehouse to escape to and unwind.

Kendall’s spot was an excellent choice for our family vacation. Beautiful views, spacious, and relatively close to anything you could want to do while on the lake. We especially appreciated the seemingly endless amount of balcony and dock space to hang out on. We’d absolutely recommend the place to any family looking for a peaceful lake house getaway!

We (a group of retired women who on a road trip to see the fabulous Ukelele Orchestra of Great Britain perform at the equally fabulous 19th century opera house) loved our stay at the Inspiration House. Every thing about the property was exactly as described. Our host was extremely proactive and bent over backwards to make our short stay the success it was. We loved it and would not hesitate to stay again.

Daniel's place was perfect for our trip. We've stayed 3 times, and it always delivers. Spacious. Very clean. Showers have great temperature control and pressure. Air conditioning works well. Will definitely stay here when we are back in town.

My wife picked out the house and I set it up. To be fully honest, I did not read the details about the house, so to my surprise it was what I called the Death Star. Joseph is clearly a very talented artist that is able to replicate Star Wars props and has many others on display! My older brother does the Disney Star Wars thing 2-3 times annually from Washington DC. I did a FaceChat to show him the inside/outside and he just kept saying, Oh My God! Assuming that is a Very Good Thing. Check it out!

Kathy is an amazing host, and the accommodations are exactly like the photos. We enjoyed our stay so much we requested to extend another night! Very welcoming peaceful surroundings. Gorgeous stone FP and kitchen backsplash. Decorated beautifully. The bed was very comfortable, and the bath towels were excellent. We had everything we needed. Our dog was welcomed with treats and a dog toy. We would recommend this property to anyone wishing to be close to Brevard and the surrounding areas. We will stay again when in the neighborhood. We had an absolute delight staying at Cindy's place! Located in a peaceful neighborhood, and close to all the essential amenities. The property itself is immaculate, beautifully maintained, and furnished with brand-new everything. The beds are incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. Our kids had a blast playing at the community's playground and taking leisurely strolls around the neighborhood, admiring the charming homes. This was our first experience staying in a tiny community like this, and we're so glad we discovered Cindy's gem. It's now our go-to 'second home' whenever we're in the Piedmont/Greenville, SC area. A huge thank you to Cindy and her co-hosts for providing our family with a comfortable and relaxing stay. We appreciate your hospitality!

We had the pleasure of staying at Melodie’s apartment while in town for a wedding. It was perfect for our family of 4. Our girls loved having their own bunk beds and the King Bed was very comfortable. Everything we wanted or needed was provided. Melodie was so gracious and very responsive. I only wish we had more time to spend at the place enjoying how beautiful and peaceful it all is. This couldn’t be located in a better area. Loved waking up to seeing the mountains and rolling hills. What a wonderful trip and we’ll be back!

This was by far one of the best Airbnb’s we’ve stayed at! Walkable, safe, comfortable, fully equipped with anything you’d need. Beautiful eclectic neighborhood with access to parks, trails, bike paths and uber! Enya was very friendly and responsive, provided snacks, coffee pods and soap/shampoo/etc. We walked to the city (about 15-20 minutes) and enjoyed dining out, visiting museums and enjoyed a ball game! We even drove out to a casino in Kings Mountain and hiked! Great location definitely one you don’t want to miss if you’re in this area.

Sarah and her daughter were wonderful hosts! They were so quick to respond to me anytime I sent a message. We arrived after a 10 hour road trip and I was looking for an activity for my almost 6 year old to get some energy out so we could finish our trip the next day. They gave ideas of indoor and outdoor things to do and made things so easy for me! Would definitely book with them again if we visit the area in the future!

My second time staying, very clean and comfortable. There is some noise from the road but the host provides a box fan which provides perfect white noise to help drown it out!

Beautiful place. Hosts are nearby but you have all the privacy you could want. Beds very comfortable and the hot tub was wonderful after hiking. Location is great for Pisgah forest and Dupont. Close to Bervard and also Hendersonville. We will definitely stay again.

Amazing stay in Barbara’s garage apartment. Our daughter loved feeding the pigs and we loved being surrounded by the woods. Excellent communication and ease of stay. Would stay here again and again

The photos really don’t do this place justice! Every room had its own private bathroom and shower except the Jack and Jill rooms which shared a bathroom and shower. The photos don’t show which rooms have which bathrooms but they all had their own basically which was great for our large group. The entire property and everything inside the house was very clean. There are two kitchens with fridges. The response and interactions I had with the host were great! She was so friendly and respectful and responsive the entire time. The property was very well kept. Plenty of room for a large group. I couldn’t recommend this place enough, very clean and well kept and private. It’s looks very old in the photos but feels like it’s brand new when you’re there. Also the bedrooms were very spacious. Excellent place to stay 10/10 on the list of AirBnbs we have all stayed at, not a single complaint from our entire group.

Lita’s place was fabulous! The decor was well conceived and sophisticated and the layout is really functional and roomy! As tall people, we loved the really high ceilings and the enormous windows create a very spacious and light filled abode surrounded by nature. The kitchen is well stocked w gas for cooks and a nice outdoor fire-pit for s’mores! The primary bathroom is incredibly large as well the primary walk in closet. The quickest trip we have ever had to the horse show and local attractions-we will definitely be back!

The Vineyard Villa is absolutely perfect for a 2-couples or 4 girlfriends getaway. Perfectly appointed villa, beautifully decorated, comfortable bedding and furniture, full kitchen with everything you need to make a meal, and 2 lovely full bathrooms. Beautiful outdoor seating area for enjoying the view of the vineyards. Secluded and oh so quiet! You have full privacy, but the owners are close by if you should ever need anything. Bring casual food, books and games, and buy wine at the vineyard and your perfect getaway awaits!! We will be back!!

This Villa is the fantastic get away. Peaceful, calm, private and within minutes from local amenities. The winery and vineyards are fantastic!! Lita is very attentive and very reachable. Her warmth and gracefulness has made her an excellent host!!!! We’ll definitely stay again.

If you are looking for a home on the lake with stunning views from almost every room, look no further. You will enjoy your meals looking out at the lake, a cozy fire and a lake view, or lounging lazily on a memory foam mattress with the lake in view. However, the view isn’t all you will enjoy. There are enough televisions for everyone’s tastes, games, beach towels, a pool, deck furniture, a fire pit, and a covered dock. Surely everyone will find something to do. I was really impressed at how clean the house was, how well-stocked the kitchen was, and the thoughtfulness of providing toiletries/Kleenex. Mike and Jorge are definitely super hosts!

This place is a great stay for anyone looking for a place centrally located in the Cashiers/Sapphire area. Easy and scenic walk around lake Fairfield. Great Mountain View from back patio. Easy access to Sapphire National Golf Course. The place is very spacious with room to spread out for the whole family and it is equipped very well. Roland is responsive and checked in on us periodically to make sure everything was well. I highly recommend staying here!

We really enjoyed our weekend! The house was beautiful, spacious, clean and had everything we needed. And the view was breathtaking! It was the perfect place for our whole family to gather and celebrate our son’s graduation from WCU!

This house is a showplace. It is immaculate, beautiful, well appointed and a good location. Melanie is a great host. You can feel the love in her place. It is really nice. She was easy to work with, the house was clean, we lacked for nothing. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was very nice, spacious and again spotless. I would stay there again without hesitation.
