We had a beautiful stay here and made wonderful memories as a family on our first Italian adventure from Canada with our 3 daughters ❤️

Lovely hosts, great location, great pool area. Spectacular views, managed to see Etna erupting.

Angela is a very dedicated host. She put together a dossier like the Yellow Pages with tips, was always available, everything organized. The house is in a quiet area, you should have a car. The shops are also within walking distance. The house itself has everything you need. Beautiful rooms, pool is also nice but I myself heated too cold, but I am also frozen, my daughter did not do that at all. We felt very comfortable.

Our stay at Casa Colonica was like a dream! Nestled at the foot of Gerace, the views of the Ionian coast were simply magical. The house and pool were immaculately maintained and spotless. It's possibly the most remarkable place to stay in Calabria with children — peaceful, spacious and giving you an elequent country feeling but very close by car to both Locri and Gerace for anything you need. Mariagrazia and Vincenzo were warm, welcoming hosts. We would absolutely love to return!

Fabio was a charming and welcoming host. He is clearly passionate about tourism and making his guests welcome and at ease. He and his family were very kind. As a sporty family we used the gym a lot ( which we had to ourselves). We would have loved an outdoor pool but knew there wasn’t one and he is now aiming to install an outdoor pool. The apartment is well air conditioned and has everything needed ( we were a family of 5) and with plenty of space. Well equipped kitchen and comfortable beds Lovely robes left for us and a sun hat each Really nice touches which show that Fabio cares about making a good impression - which he did. You do need a car as the apartment is quite some way out but if you don’t mind that ( we didn’t) then the quiet was good. View of etna is lovely The balcony was particularly lovely to relax on and eat al fresco Well done Fabio

We had a wonderful time with Michela and Antonio and felt like we were with friends. Very clean accommodation with everything you need. We had the great pool to ourselves. Michela pampered us with limoncello spray, refreshing and delicious. The property is in a very quiet residential area, by car only 5 minutes from the sea. We can 100% recommend this place, we would have liked to stay longer if we come back to Milazzo, definitely go to this place. By the way, Milazzo is a beautiful town and the old town with its bars and restaurants worth a visit. Thanks for everything!!!

The apartment has a fantastic secluded location (with the landlords) in the mountains. The views from the garden are beautiful. In 2-3 km you are on Monte Ogliastro or Monte Veneretta, from where you can overlook the whole region. Fantastic! The terrace is large and completely fenced. Then comes the parking lot and then the beautiful fenced garden. The cats were very nice and there were no problems with the dog. Unfortunately, the cats were all very, very thin, at least 3 had severe diarrhea. The turtles in the garden had very bleak small enclosures and the dog was often locked away on the balcony. Unfortunately, pets usually have a bad life in Sicily. That made the vacation sad.

Cozy and spacious house, equipped with every comfort. Great hospitality and kindness from the hosts who made us feel at home right away, ensuring we had everything we needed together with courtesy and reserve. Daniel, although "remote," was always very quick to respond to us. Apart from this, the place is an authentic place of peace and relaxation, surrounded by greenery and quiet. Practically everything we were looking for for these last summer remnants.

Francesco, you are the best owner. You were very kind and the guide was detailed and easy to understand, and the room was comfortable. Thanks to him and his wife, I had a great experience and I want to come again

Daniele's apartment is at the far end of the Naxos bay a ten minute walk from the hussle and bussle of the beaches and beach side restaurants/traffic. It sits between a couple of small, independent hotels but for us, in mid-June, was very quiet and peaceful, and with a beautiful setting overlooking well kept gardens and the sea. Not much else to add to the other positive reviews.....it's a great, well-appointed, private and quiet apartment and not a bad place from which to explore the Messina region if you have a car. We certainly recommend!

The stay at Antonella & Giorgio's was wonderful. The neighborhood is beautiful and modern, perfectly equipped and sparkling clean. The area is quiet and the house is away from Taormina's hustle and bustle. Antonella & Giorgio are super nice and take care of everything, are always available, friendly and generous. We felt very, very comfortable, like with old friends and would come back anytime.

We had a great time! Listing is as described. Thanks to Cristina for her warm welcome, her advice and responsiveness. I would recommend this place for families who want to stay in Calabria!

Although we didn’t get the pleasure to meet Consolato, he was very responsive and gave good recommendations for local restaurants. His dad helped us with parking. The place was very clean and just like the pictures. There isn’t much around but it was perfect for our one night stay since it is only a 30min drive to Villa San Giovanni port.

From the scent of Jasmine, as you enter the gate, it feels like a little Eden to come to Villa Mediterranea. Alessia and Adelio were there to greet us with smiles. Alessia plucked blood oranges, lemons, and clementines from the trees on the terrace to provide a refreshment at our arrival. This was such an amazing touch. But only the first of many during our stay. The views from the patio are just breathtaking. Perched high in a cliff top just north of Taormina center, we had a view out to the sea and to the misty mountains of the Italian mainland beyond. It is a magical place. Alessia, Adelfio, and Enza checked in with us often and provided great suggestions for things to do while we were there. The Villa is just a short 10 minute walk from the city center, but also feels a world away in its contained beauty and privacy. The pool is wonderful. It is a pleasure to lounge by it in the warm sun and then take refreshing dips to cool off. We loved this place and highly recommend it

The house is amazing, everything is very new. High quality appliances and utensils. The host is very kind and accessible.

Alberto is a very friendly host! From the pick-up at the bus to support and questions in everyday life, he and his wife were always approachable! The apartment is very nice: always hot water, e.g. for the dishes, a working air conditioning, liquid Internet, a good hair dryer - and above all a washing machine (+ stand)! It was worth its weight in gold! I also slept well in the bed and there were enough sockets. When I asked for a vacuum cleaner, Alberto brought it over! What was very unusual for me was the loud street right next to it and the loud seagulls! For this, the apartment is really centrally located and you can reach everything on foot! It was really great that Alberto provided me with a bike! So I could also quickly cycle to the other side to the beach. I also loved the lemon tree behind the house. Otherwise, I think shower curtains should be banned. :) Thank you for everything!

Fabulous little part apartment in a wonderful location. It is a stone through from the beach, where you were able to rent beds or take your own towels. You are just down the road from the beautiful Isola Bella natural reserve and beach. There is a mini market with essentials just a two minute walk away, and the cable car up into the town is just a few minutes walk, taking you straight up into Taormina. The apartment is well equipped and the Terrace is a beautiful spot to have breakfast watching the sunrise, or for your evening meal.

We stayed with 7 friends in the house. We thought the location was ideal (a bit uphill) and the terrace was a nice extra! An ideal base to explore the region by public transportation! Clean, spacious rooms. And a supermarket nearby. Flexible checkout. Highly recommended!

We can't stop thanking Angela for her kindness and concern for us. We thought the place was new because everything was impeccable, everything was shiny, lots of detail, she was affectionate and kind. What a lovely little place with amazing views in beautiful Savoca. Fitted out very thoughtfully and beautifully. Emanuele was a brilliant host, very helpful and accommodated a special request that we had. We did not want to leave! Thank you!

My group of 6 had a wonderful stay! Antonino was a wonderful host, setting us up with early check in as we arrived from the airport, and was responsive to any questions we had about the house. The location is incredible (the photos don't do it justice-waking up to the volcano and/or the ocean waves, balconies off of every bedroom, steps from the sea, really gorgeous!) The kitchen has everything you need for coffee, cooking in, etc, and the neighborhood has great local spots for drinks, dinner, and small grocery shops. Two of the bedrooms have detachable twin sets that you can use together or separate, but I'd recommend reaching out in advance based on your group if you need them separated. We traveled to/from the train in Riposto for day trips which is very walkable along the coastline. If you're looking for a less touristy, more authentic neighborhood to stay in, this is definitely the spot.
