I spent a wonderful month in this location - it's clean and comfortable with good wifi for remote working - perfect for what I was after. Maria is a wonderful host who is always responsive and cleaned the place once a week while leaving me nice things for breakfast! She even gave me a lift to and from Catania (c.10km) with my heavy suitcase. Trecastagni is a pleasant town on the slopes of Etna with accessible supermarkets and other essential shops as well as a some nice bars and restaurants and several churches. This location is better for those with private vehicles as the buses to/from Trecastagni are somewhat unreliable and it is a walk of several miles to the nearest train station (Acireale). However for those with vehicles it offers good access to Etna as well as other attractions in the area such as Catania and Acireale.

We had such a wonderful time at Tina’s casetta de campo. The house is totally enclosed and secluded so perfect for us as a family. We loved the hammock and swinging chair area, which was a cool place to read and play cards. The view of Mount Etna from there is also amazing. My husband and son walked to one of the calderas and the lava fields from close to the house. We enjoyed the company of the cats, birds, butterflies and cockerel. It’s well equipped, and feels like a real home from home. Tina could not have been more accommodating and friendly and I only wish that we could have started longer. Next time - Grazie Mille Tina 🙏

Grazia is a wonderful and very caring host! We felt very comfortable and at home. She gave us tips for restaurants and excursions in the area and left us water and something too small to eat on arrival. The surrounding area is very beautiful. Not too many tourists and rather quiet. In addition, we were very happy about the personal experience about AirBnB again. Absolutely recommended.

We loved our stay with Ignazio, in the apartment of Giulia. We immediately fell in love with the beautiful outside area of the residence, including the sitting area, Rocky the shepherd and fruit and vegetables you could pluck from the garden yourself as showed by Ignazio. The apartment has all you need, including a proper kitchen and everything you need for staying with a baby of 10 months old. Good to know for young parents, the (non video) baby monitor we took with us reached from our villa to the pool, which was a bliss. The location of the residence is perfect. The centre of lovely village Piedimonte Etneo is a short walk away, with the best breakfast we had during our stay at Sicily (Caffè Calì is the place to be!). And there is more than enough to do in the vicinity, like hiking up the Etna or visiting Taormina. Thanks for having us Ignazio and Guilia!

I would this property. Very clean, as described. Armando is responsive and always available for any questions and inquiries. Great view from the terrace with the pool which is a plus after or before a good day of sightseeing

Fantastic host and Grazia’s husband was so helpful on arrival. The apartment was spacious and spotless clean. Beautiful sea view and location was brilliant. Everything was within walking distance and accessible on foot. I would definitely recommend this place to stay. Host was very communicative. throughout

Very nice apartment, 100% in line with our expectations. The apartment was very clean, fresh towels, bedding, dishes, etc. It is not located in the city center, which is an advantage, because there is no city noise and at the same time everything is close - bus, metro, Lidl, bakery with delicious bread across the street. Cristina is a wonderful, caring and always helpful host. Next time we are in Catania we will definitely stay with Cristina.

Pina is hands-down the best host I've ever had on Airbnb. She reminded me of my homestay mom from high school — but with even more style! As a true Taormina celebrity, everyone says hello to her and she knows every corner of this town. From uncovering local history (museums to luxury hotels) to guiding me through the most convenient routes, her expertise made everything effortless. Staying at her place felt like living in an art gallery, wrapped in the warmest family atmosphere I’ve ever experienced.

Beautiful experience, impeccable in everything. The B&B is located in a strategic area, a few minutes from the center. The room is functional, very clean and immersed in a quiet environment, with an unbeatable quality/price ratio. I also loved the breakfast and what can I say about the owners? Adorable! Our stay in Catania was gorgeous. The apartment is in an old baroque palace. It has a great location, just 200 meters from Piazza del Duomo, so you can easily and safely go the old town even during the evening/night. Our host was very responsive. It is really worth staying at that place.

Giusy and her family were amazing! I love the location of the peaceful and quiet surrounding. Very easy to reach and safe by car. Giusy gave us a very warm welcome and kind introduction. Home feeling of stay there with a pretty skylight garden featuring air-con. We love the homemade cake served by her. It was our birthday road trip. There are lots of nice restaurant and easy to reach to the volcano tour. Everything is perfect. Even we received daily suggestion of attractions from her. We had a very nice stay for 3 days. Very comfortable room, good mattress, quiet with access to the garden, products in the bathroom like at the hotel! Varied breakfast and coffee is prepared by the hosts themselves, which allows for a pleasant moment of conversation. The stay at Sara's was simply beautiful, the accommodation is quiet, you have absolute privacy and you can quickly reach the surrounding cities by car. Sara is very friendly, prepared a great breakfast for us every day, we felt so comfortable. 100% recommendation!

We loved staying at this Airbnb. Stunning balcony with views over the coastline. It was a very quick walk to the centre and 2 minutes walk from the supermarket. Giuseppe recommended places to see while we were here and helped us with transport option when getting to the Airbnb and for our stay. He was very attentive and a brilliant host. Can’t recommend enough!

Absolutely recommended. We had room 4 and felt like we had a king room. The ceilings are super nice and high and the whole room is large, with two balconies. The kitchen was well equipped and we enjoyed cooking there. Everything you need is available and it was super clean overall. It's not far to the Center and we also walked to the beach (about 30 minutes). Paolo was always easy to contact and very friendly. We would come back here any time!
