I spent a wonderful month in this location - it's clean and comfortable with good wifi for remote working - perfect for what I was after. Maria is a wonderful host who is always responsive and cleaned the place once a week while leaving me nice things for breakfast! She even gave me a lift to and from Catania (c.10km) with my heavy suitcase. Trecastagni is a pleasant town on the slopes of Etna with accessible supermarkets and other essential shops as well as a some nice bars and restaurants and several churches. This location is better for those with private vehicles as the buses to/from Trecastagni are somewhat unreliable and it is a walk of several miles to the nearest train station (Acireale). However for those with vehicles it offers good access to Etna as well as other attractions in the area such as Catania and Acireale.

We had such a wonderful time at Tina’s casetta de campo. The house is totally enclosed and secluded so perfect for us as a family. We loved the hammock and swinging chair area, which was a cool place to read and play cards. The view of Mount Etna from there is also amazing. My husband and son walked to one of the calderas and the lava fields from close to the house. We enjoyed the company of the cats, birds, butterflies and cockerel. It’s well equipped, and feels like a real home from home. Tina could not have been more accommodating and friendly and I only wish that we could have started longer. Next time - Grazie Mille Tina 🙏

Grazia is a wonderful and very caring host! We felt very comfortable and at home. She gave us tips for restaurants and excursions in the area and left us water and something too small to eat on arrival. The surrounding area is very beautiful. Not too many tourists and rather quiet. In addition, we were very happy about the personal experience about AirBnB again. Absolutely recommended.

We loved our stay with Ignazio, in the apartment of Giulia. We immediately fell in love with the beautiful outside area of the residence, including the sitting area, Rocky the shepherd and fruit and vegetables you could pluck from the garden yourself as showed by Ignazio. The apartment has all you need, including a proper kitchen and everything you need for staying with a baby of 10 months old. Good to know for young parents, the (non video) baby monitor we took with us reached from our villa to the pool, which was a bliss. The location of the residence is perfect. The centre of lovely village Piedimonte Etneo is a short walk away, with the best breakfast we had during our stay at Sicily (Caffè Calì is the place to be!). And there is more than enough to do in the vicinity, like hiking up the Etna or visiting Taormina. Thanks for having us Ignazio and Guilia!

Ivana was a wonderfully welcoming and responsive host—any time we had a question or issue, she replied almost immediately. I’ve never stayed in an Airbnb that offered such thoughtful touches: a generous selection of coffee, biscuits, cakes, and bread. I highly recommend her place. While it’s a bit of a walk to the city center, taking different routes each day allowed us to discover so much more of the area.”

I would this property. Very clean, as described. Armando is responsive and always available for any questions and inquiries. Great view from the terrace with the pool which is a plus after or before a good day of sightseeing

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful property in Riposto! Our group of 10 found the house to be spacious, comfortable, and exactly as described. The layout is ideal for a large group — two separate apartments (one on the ground floor and one upstairs), each with three bedrooms and two bathrooms, which gave everyone plenty of space and privacy. We really appreciated this thoughtful setup. One of the highlights was the rooftop terrace with its stunning views of Mount Etna — it was absolutely breathtaking. We also loved the pool and backyard area, where we spent many relaxing evenings together. The outdoor space made our stay feel extra special. Marika, our host on site (and Michael off-site), was incredibly kind, thoughtful, and responsive from start to finish. Her proactive communication after booking, clear directions, and attentiveness throughout our stay made everything so much easier. She was truly a joy to interact with. Overall, this property exceeded our expectations!

Absolutely beautiful place to stay! The apartment is very big and spacious. Great layout of the rooms. The balconies are a dream. Great host. The place is easy to reach and perfect starting point for great excursions in the area. We will be happy to come back.

We had a great time at Dario’s place. Incredibly well located but still very peaceful at night. The space was nice and big with two bathrooms and lots of space to relax as well as a lovely balcony. Dario was a lovely and easy to reach host - would highly recommend!

You cannot find more central than this place in Catania. Excellent for short tourism stays. Compact but practical. Flexible owner.

This is the best airbnb I've stayed in. The flat is superb: it has been renovated to an incredibly high standard. Fixtures and fittings feel like a luxury hotel and the hosts have been so thoughtful in providing everything you might need during a stay. It's situated perfectly for exploring Catania, but the street itself is quiet. Breakfast in a lovely nearby cafe is delicious. Communication was impeccable and Manuel and Marta went out of their way to accommodate us even though we didn't book until late on the evening we were arriving. Don't hesitate to book this place: I would feel lucky to stay here the next time I visit Catania.

Our stay in Catania was wonderful. Always attentive to cleanliness, the organization of the spaces of the house, communication and the comfort of guests, Paolo is undoubtedly the best host I have ever found, especially in terms of availability towards those who travel (e.g. allowing us to check in hours earlier than the indicated time). The apartment is central, easy to access, very clean and tastefully furnished, not ruining the history of the apartment with floors with typical Catania cement and vaults more than 5 meters high with reliefs. It's a nice place with an amazing view. We had a bit hard connection during check in, because women talk only in Italian and it is hard to understand, but it is okay. The room is really good. Etna's view is incredible! Breakfast was so sweet but tasty and good. Thank you 😊

Beautiful experience, impeccable in everything. The B&B is located in a strategic area, a few minutes from the center. The room is functional, very clean and immersed in a quiet environment, with an unbeatable quality/price ratio. I also loved the breakfast and what can I say about the owners? Adorable! Our stay in Catania was gorgeous. The apartment is in an old baroque palace. It has a great location, just 200 meters from Piazza del Duomo, so you can easily and safely go the old town even during the evening/night. Our host was very responsive. It is really worth staying at that place.

Giusy and her family were amazing! I love the location of the peaceful and quiet surrounding. Very easy to reach and safe by car. Giusy gave us a very warm welcome and kind introduction. Home feeling of stay there with a pretty skylight garden featuring air-con. We love the homemade cake served by her. It was our birthday road trip. There are lots of nice restaurant and easy to reach to the volcano tour. Everything is perfect. Even we received daily suggestion of attractions from her. We had a very nice stay for 3 days. Piña was a delightful hostess & nothing was too much trouble and she cheerfully tailored her breakfast for a vegan. Her accommodation was authentic and a real experience. The stay at Sara's was simply beautiful, the accommodation is quiet, you have absolute privacy and you can quickly reach the surrounding cities by car. Sara is very friendly, prepared a great breakfast for us every day, we felt so comfortable. 100% recommendation!

We loved staying at this Airbnb. Stunning balcony with views over the coastline. It was a very quick walk to the centre and 2 minutes walk from the supermarket. Giuseppe recommended places to see while we were here and helped us with transport option when getting to the Airbnb and for our stay. He was very attentive and a brilliant host. Can’t recommend enough!
