Family-friendly holiday rentals in San Sai District

The location is fantastic. Walking distance to Nimman, the Old City and Wat Ket - all areas packed with great places to eat, drink coffee and explore. We walked every day for a month and were still finding new cool places. There are several super cool places close by - I won’t mention too many as it is fun to find your own favourites but to name a few …….. Crazy Curry right next to the apartment is a cute little Japanese restaurant which does a great curry. On a lovely neighbourhood stroll, look out for Graph Quarter / Freebird and Hokkaido Donuts. There is so much more in all the surrounding areas - have fun discovering them all. The apartment itself is great, very spacious with a comfy couch and a brilliant large shady balcony. We loved it. The only negative I would say is a lack of good kitchen equipment and utensils and overall the finishings are a little tired but honestly, the price reflects this - it is a total bargain for the size location and balcony. The apartment was exactly as pictured. Clean, spacious, and well-stocked with items to make our stay comfortable and convenient. Do not take this for granted - we have stayed in other places using the Airbnb platform in Chiang Mai, and some charge the same fee, but did very little to keep their place clean and livable. Ratagit takes really great care of the apartment. The location is right smack in the middle of the tourist area, right next to the MAYA shopping center and One Nimman, and a quick Grab or tuktuk ride to the old city inside the moat (only a 20-min walk if you’re up for it). Amazingly, the apartment is very quiet. There is also good security. The hosts were always quick to answer any questions and accommodated our request for two keycards. Check-in and check-out was super easy. Highly recommend a stay at Ratagit’s apartment in Chiang Mai. Well worth the price. Probably one of the best Airbnb’s I’ve ever stayed at in Chiang Mai.

Lanna’s place was perfect! It reminded me of my home - like home away from home. Lanna was probably by far one of the most helpful kind hosts I have experienced - I ended up injuring my ankle and lanna went out of her way to find her walking cast for me to try. As well as pulling up clinics - hospital and pharmacy for me. She is such a kind soul 💕 Her home was one of my favorite airbnbs I have stayed in

We just really enjoyed our stay here. The apartment itself is super light because of the large windows and because it’s a corner apartment, so you have light from both sides of the building, which we really really loved. It has everything you need in the kitchen/ bathroom etc. Yes you do hear the airplane, but you hear that everywhere on this side of Chiang Mai and it’s not disturbing and we got used to it really quick. The location of the apartment is great, with lots of shops around. If the apartment was still available, we would’ve extended our stay so definitely recommend the place!

I really appreciate the co host Chanakran for being very responsive. I love and appreciate how the host gave us waters. The check in and check out was very easy. Their home was located in a good location. There was alot of restaurant and spa around their home. Everything they have listed on the Airbnb website are there. One thing that I did notice was some of the bathroom have mold and the smell of the sink. Other than that I do recommend this Airbnb to a friend.

Khun Key's place is clean and elegant. It is quiet and comfortable in a suburban neighborhood. The house is more beautiful than the photos and imagination. When the morning sun spilled in the courtyard, it was really nice.The style of the house is simply French elegance with a touch of tropical green plants.We love it, thank you Khun Key for taking care of us.

The condo is located in a beautiful part of Chiang Mai… When someone were to think of spending time in Chiang Mai, they would stay at the Hinoki… Thanks for everything! I can’t wait until October to be there again! Bruce

This place is perfect, if you want to be in a walkable area to shopping, restaurants, coffee shops, etc. Our group of seven (7) had plenty of space to spread out. FYI, there are 4 floors which equals lots of stairs. The on-site greeter, Lucy, was VERY helpful and provided lots of good recommendations. If ever in the area again, I’ll book this property!

To celebrate the New Year, my family gathered in Chiang Mai and stayed at Joy and Joerg’s Airbnb, which was the perfect spot for our reunion. In August, I visited their place in advance, and they kindly showed me around, sharing tips on relaxation, cooking, and massages. In December, the house comfortably accommodated everyone in separate bedrooms. We enjoyed swimming in the pool, relaxing in hammocks, and having a barbecue with fresh meat and vegetables. Their delicious Thai dishes, with separate chili and non-chili plates, were perfect for our family’s preferences. Despite minor issues like rental car trouble and a family member falling ill, Joy and Joerg provided excellent support and advice. Their hospitality made our stay unforgettable, and we left with cherished memories.

We stayed at this place for 1 month. In many ways, we liked it all. Rapee is a very likeable and nice host. The things (iron, vacuum cleaner, etc.) we were missing Rapee immediately got us. He was also helpful in other things (medical advice). The only thing we missed a lot were the mosquito nets on the windows. Thank you and all the best!

Stayed with my family for a week and felt like a home. The hosts tooks great care of us and made us breakfast every morning and took care of laundry and more! We loved the pool and feel of the place. Highly recommend it.

I’m so glad I stayed here instead of the heart of the city. This place is a great mix of nature and still close to the center. Great value for the area. Kom is an amazing host that makes you feel right at home. Baankiri guest house in itself was a great experience in Chaing Mai. Thank you so much for your hospitality.

Staying here was one of the highlights of our trip to Chiang Mai. The house and property are absolutely stunning, and made for a great reprieve from the hustle and bustle of the city. Waking up in such a unique space was so relaxing, and having coffee and breakfast in the morning was an unexpected delight! Perhaps my favorite part was the darling kitty Lucy who we absolutely fell in love with. We will definitely look forward to booking again on our next trip here!

Nimit House 7 was an absolutely lovely stay. The rooms were comfortable, and it’s an easy walk right across the canal to old town. We adored the private yard and balcony. We also really appreciated the easy availability of a filtered water tap with cold pitchers in the fridge. As with many places in the area, I would recommend purchasing a little mosquito spray if you tend to be sensitive to them! There’s a convenience store right around the corner where you can get that and anything else you may need. Nook Cafe right on the corner is a great little place for breakfast and coffee, and there’s a dispensary on this street too if that’s your thing. Overall this home was so very comfortable and beautiful. Thanks so much to Jane for a wonderful place to stay in during our time in Chiang Mai!

Four was super helpful and our kids loved playing at her house! There was even a sandbox there the kids could play in and they spent a lot of time doing that! After I realized the espresso machine wasn’t there, Four replied and said it was getting fixed, and that her brother would bring me another one that evening (which he did!). She even offered to buy me coffee in the meantime. We had fun in the pool, and she had lifejackets there the kids could use. She was super friendly and helpful whenever I needed to contact her!

We really enjoyed our stay, the place was perfect for our 2 weeks in Chiang Mai. The apartment is well equipped and super quiet. The building is well maintained and clean. Conveniently located with lots of restaurants and bars around. The gym and the swimming pool were a nice plus! Would definitely come back!

Such a wonderful stay! Kate was very kind and responsive. I had a bit of trouble with the wifi in the first few days. She got everything back up and working right away. She was very accommodating and the place was very comfortable and safe. I absolutely loved staying here, everything was within walking distance. I would absolutely stay here again!

The location is close to the biggest merchant in Chiang Mai, backs up to the bus hub, and still friendly for the little mates who want to take a bus somewhere else.The hotel for this booking is on the 22nd floor, and the room is designed to be Chase room, but the layout is obvious.The decoration is light and luxurious.With a small terrace, the view is wide (it's convenient to watch the sun rise).The homestay is fully equipped and the free small water bar is the most comprehensive.The bedding is comfortable and relieves fatigue every time you wake up.Would love to take it home.Every time you come back, there is a sweet smell of mango.Infinity pool and sauna on the 5th floor, and the gym is fully equipped.It is really reassuring to live in this homestay.

Just down the street from One Nimman and not far from the Maya Shopping Center, its location is great. One can easily get to the old city as well with Bolt or a scooter in about 5 minutes. Jacinth is a very helpful host if you have any issues. She’s ready to help. Quiet and away from the busy main road.

Great host, beautiful condo, loved the pool and gardens. You can walk to Central Festival Mall. 10/10 recommend
