We arrived late. They waited for us. Helped us carry our bags up. Made us feel welcomed and peaceful. Water and water bottles available were soooooo helpful!!! Loved the breakfast included and suggestions for coffee. Yum! Thank you for your exceptional service!

I loved staying at Kivi’s place. I was staying in an upstairs room and it was super quiet even though it was central in the old city, close to the night market and lots of restaurants and shops. It’s a very characterful property and a really large room. The pool was a bonus As a solo traveller I felt very welcome and safe. I can recommend Asia Scenic cookery school on the same street.

We had the family room which was comfortable. You share bathroom but due to small scale It is almost private. The host is super nice and sweet!

Baan Boo Loo is a traveller's dream. Ticks all the expectations of a Thai home and genuine Thai hospitality. Thanks so much for everything. Everyone who comes to Thailand should see Thai culture this way. The rooms are mostly in teak with lots of antiques and beautiful fabrics and touches. It is like stepping back in time but with all the important modern amenities.

What I like: It's a modern hostel, the staff is very friendly, it's clean, the WiFi is very good to work and to have videocalls. Also it's in Nimman and you can reach everything very easily. It can be nosy at night. If you wanna sleep early, you have to use earplugs or wait till 00 / 00:30 a, when the bars around the hostel close.

good value! nice hotel, location was on the north edge of the old quarter (square). the fitness room is just dumbbells and 3 cardio machines and a chest machine, enough for a short stay but would be great if there was some more equipment (just a bench for weights would have made a big difference!) good service, nice staff, cheap laundry service. breezy stay. thanks!

Four years later, I came to Chiang Mai again and was lucky to stay in the Villa, our favorite simple and clean Thai homestay. Unique highlights: The small garden is especially beautiful, and the pool is clean.The room is our favorite, with good lighting and a large balcony.The host has prepared bamboo bags and paper umbrellas in advance, which can be taken out for shopping.I love the light fragrance of this brand, it's very unique, and we bought a bottle Location: The location is good, just between the old city and Nimman Road, it is convenient wherever you go, it is also more than ten minutes from the airport Host Interaction: The host was very warm and patient in answering our questions, and the other staff also provided a smiley service

I’ve stayed with The Locals twice while in Chiang Mai, and can’t recommend them enough. Very friendly staff and helpful. Hotel is very clean and quiet. They have a useful entrance for coming back late at night, without disturbing anyone. Walkable distance to good restaurants, the Loi Kroh Boxing Stadium (cluster of bars), and the Kalare Night Bazaar. This is the only place I will stay in Chiang Mai going forward. Amazing.

Oasis in Chiang Mai The location was excellent easy to walk into the city, lots of local eating places nearby. Easy to get taxi Grab or tuk tuk when required. The staff are excellent the on site restaurant for breakfast was also good. The beds were comfy and the bathrooms well supplied and a good size. Having a full size fridge and a washing machine was a bonus. The common pool area was also lovely and a relaxing oasis away from the city hustle. Would certainly stay here again

Good place to stay nearby to bus terminal 3. So difficult to find though which should be clearer. Essentially it is right next to the hospital.

This house was a great base for us to explore Nimman and Santitham. Lots of great restaurants to explore in both neighbourhoods. The host lives in the house also but you have your own private on-suite room which is decorated very well, the bed was very comfy and we had a great night sleep. Thank you for your hospitality.

Really enjoyed my stay at Varadas.. in fact I extended a few extra days! Simple yet comfortable (with a hard bed like most of this area). Rooms cleaned daily and offers coffee, tea and drinking water in the lobby. Would definitely book again!

We really enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it for anyone looking to stay relatively close to the airport but also a quick drive from the city center.

Room as described on the photos, clean and spacious, regularly cleaned if needed and friendly staff. Locations a little out of city centre but transport is easily organised.
