Cottage holiday rentals in Sancerre

We were a family of six that had just arrived at CDG Airport from both US coasts. We were tired and jet lagged. We got to Catherine's house and felt immediately at home and comfortable. It was a PERFECT landing and resting spot for tired travelers. It is so charming. the layout really worked for us. The surrounding area made for a peaceful walk in the nearby forest. The house met our needs in every possible way!

Our stay at Andrew and Marielle's was lovely. They very kindly welcomed us and gave us directions to things to do and see in the area, cafes, swimming and more. The accommodation is simple and comfortable, and the garden is very pleasant.

The accommodation is ideal for a family of 4 to 5 people, easy to access thanks to a key box. The kitchen and bathroom are very well equipped, all appliances and utensils are available, as well as paper towels, toilet paper, bath towels, bathrobes... there is even a small first aid kit with bandages, disinfectant, etc. There is also coffee, tea, powdered chocolate, water, milk... Bernadette thought of everything! The spa is a real plus, nothing better after a long 5-hour drive! I highly recommend this accommodation and will return without hesitation for my next stay in Burgundy.

Great weekend spent in this peaceful and warm place. The availability of the property was perfect. The hot tub is really very nice, large, clean and easily accessible. The terrace in full sun in the afternoon is really great. The only "bad point" would be the inventory to do on arrival, which is a little long, especially when you stay there barely 2 days 😅 I highly recommend this Cottage, we hope to be able to come back for a longer period of time!

We had a lovely weekend! Clément was a very friendly host and attentive to us. The hot tub is a good plus! We will be happy to come back if the opportunity arises.

Very friendly hosts who received us with a very good bottle of white wine! They live next door. They offered to change the towels at the end of the first week. frankly nothing to say they are at their best!

Very cute picturesque village house!

We had a great weekend in Bruno and Laurence's beautiful home. We were wonderfully welcomed by our hosts who were always available and very responsive. In addition, we were able to enjoy the superb gardens and the shaded terrace, as well as the fruits and vegetables to be enjoyed directly on site. Our dog also really enjoyed the place. We'll definitely be back.

We had a wedding nearby and this cottage was very well located for it. Pleasant, typical, that's what we needed. Thank you for agreeing to let us leave the cottage earlier and for letting us leave later 😌 Finally, thank you for the very nice little jar of honey.

A haven of peace at the end of a dead end in the middle of nature, surrounded by horses, cattle and other sheep. The only noise that will wake you up will be the birds. The accommodation is very comfortable and there is nothing missing. Finally, there is a very good hostel 2 km away. On the other hand, as specified in the description, a car is necessary.

The place was in a great location. The restaurant and bakery were within a 5-minute walk. Nigel is very accommodating with our arrival schedule and he had prepared the jacuzzi for the same day. Beyond his very functional and very well-equipped accommodation, Nigel is a very interesting and very friendly person. We recommend this beautiful place to unwind from everyday life. I had an exceptional stay in this beautiful house! The place is spacious, bright and tastefully decorated. Everything was perfectly clean when I arrived and I really appreciated the little touches left by the hosts. The village is quiet and pleasant, ideal for resting. I highly recommend this address and will gladly come back during my next visit to the region

We spent a few very pleasant days in this small house, simple but with a nice garden, not overlooked and in an excellent location. The neighbors are very close but quiet and friendly. We were able to wash and hang out laundry, enjoy the garden table and the parasol. Wifi works great. In addition, the house is quite cool when it is hot. We were well received and will gladly return.

Very nice house, set in a wooded park near a body of water. Very pleasant to live in, with plenty of space outside and inside. The house is very functional and the hosts are very welcoming. Highly recommend.

We had a great stay in this small, very warm and yet very spacious house. The bedding is good and the place is very clean. It feels like home. Alexandra is a very welcoming, pleasant and responsive host. Access to the accommodation is very safe.

Lovely place - very comfortable and well equipped. Beautiful gardens and places to relax. Yves and Christine are always available to help if needed but also respect guest privacy. Great bike rides in the area and Clamecy is a sweet town; also recommend Dijon and Auxerre for visiting.

To dear Francoise and friend Jean !! We are now back in Denmark, after 4 unforgettable weeks in the lovely house in Saint- Bouize at Sancerre. We highly recommend the home, belonging to Francoise ! Everything has worked perfectly and the breakfast at Jean's place was simply perfect, big thank you ! We have had ample opportunity to explore the beautiful surroundings, seen a lot of beautiful nature, and especially around the town of Sancerre with the good restaurants, and the good wine: Sancerre and Pully Fume !! We really enjoyed the large garden and the clear view all around the house. There are two adjoining apartments but it did not bother us. A beautiful place, simple and quiet, to go green for a few days! Easy communication with Charles and his father, who welcomed us.

We had a fantastic stay with Olivier. Unfortunately, we could only stay a few days but we will definitely be back and anyone looking for an idyllic, quiet, charming and perfectly in order cottage on the water can recommend this delicious maisonke. Rogier is the perfect host, the welcome was very warm and the communication went very well, despite our not too best knowledge of the French language. In short, absolutely recommended!
