Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Sancerre

Wishing to meet for a family weekend (10 adults, 3 children, 2 babies), we chose to stay at Dominique's cottage and the experience was excellent. The cottage itself is a little wonder: very well-equipped, spacious and very warm, you quickly feel "at home". Everything is done to make families feel good and children happy (indoor and outdoor games, small bed, changing table, etc.). The rooms, in addition to being tastefully decorated, are really spacious, which allows you to isolate yourself if necessary. Dominique is an extremely considerate, flexible and responsive host. In short, it's a real favorite for our family! We can only warmly recommend this cottage and its owner!

Our short stay at Chloé and Alexandre's went wonderfully well. The house is quiet and beautifully decorated. The balneo bathtub is a real plus!

We were lucky enough to discover this haven of greenery and tranquility for a weekend with friends. Between discoveries of Sancerre and activities offered within the house, we would have liked to extend the stay to continue enjoying the pool and various amenities. Fabienne was always very responsive and present, which allowed us to take possession of the premises in a serene and complete manner.

A true haven of peace. This stay was an enchantment. The place is full of charm, with authentic architecture and a soothing atmosphere. The delicate smell of roses climbing on the facade added a magical touch. It felt completely disconnected from the world. Peace, nature, and beauty, everything came together for a peaceful and refreshing stay. I will come back without hesitation.

Excellent stay in an ideal cottage for 6 people. Large spaces, beautiful living room. All the necessary equipment for cooking. Nice sleeping area. Beautiful outdoor space. We were lucky, we were able to eat outside. We visited the Château du Guédelon, St Fargeau and its farm, Saint Sauveur en Puisaye, and the 7 locks of Rogny We would recommend this place.

A timeless, bucolic, and very charming place. We enjoyed our stay at the estate very much. The swimming pool and Nordic bath are a real asset. Our host was very available and friendly. We recommend this place without hesitation.

Thanks to Aurélie for a warm welcome, beautiful house with a very large garden where young and old can enjoy different facilities (barbecue, tables, sunbeds, trampoline, swing...) The house is a real barracks of Ali baba with pretty objects, very spacious. Aurélie was very responsive to our questions. We enjoyed the house and the visits around, including Chateau Guedelon.

Very nice little studio inside and out. Calm and nature are the key words. The nearby lake is a real plus very pleasant, as much for us as our dog and the outside of the fully fenced and gated studio is totally suitable for animals. However, very little, seeing no networks in the place says what is not disturbing but good to know before arriving. Thank you for this refreshing stay, I recommend it 100% .

We had a great time walking and reading in the beautiful living room of the apartment, which overlooks the gardens of the castle. The room is very nice and the bedding is very good. I would highly recommend it!

Beautiful spacious apartment. Extremely well equipped and perfect for our overnight stop on the way to Italy. Hadrien was extremely helpful in letting us in and assisting us with parking - the approach is quite narrow for our large family car, but all went smoothly thanks to Hadrien’s help. Auxerre looked beautiful - shame we couldn’t stop for longer. We will definitely hope to return next time we are doing the drive down to Italy.

Well-equipped studio, located in the historic center, allowing you to visit many nearby sites. Carine is attentive to requests.

Staying at Nathalie’s beautiful estate was an unforgettable experience. Nestled in a lush and tranquil green domain, her land feels like a hidden gem — peaceful, picturesque, and perfectly maintained. The surrounding nature is breathtaking, and every corner of the property reflects care and love. What truly makes this place special, however, is Nathalie herself. She is an incredibly warm and gracious host, always attentive and ready with a kind word or helpful tip. Her homemade breakfast is a true highlight — fresh, delicious, and made with obvious passion. From pancakes, to flowerbeignets, to breads to local specialties, every morning felt like a treat. This is more than just a place to stay — it’s a little slice of paradise made exceptional by the personal touch Nathalie brings to everything she does. Highly recommended!

Very nice house, Beautiful garden and rest area (not used because cold!!!)Too bad!!! Nothing is missing, everything is functional. It was cold but the wood wheelbarrow was appreciated. The stove, a real plus for a sweet warmth. Carole is very nice and helpful. I had an unexpected request...response and service rendered quickly Finally, a place where the host is a real person!!!! Fabiens place is lovely. The space is larger than expected. The shower room is great. The dressing room a nice touch, the open plan to downstairs feels nice. The place is tastefully decorated and has a lot of character. One very minor criticism it would be that the pool cover is a chore to put on and take off. An mechanised cover would make a difference. However it is a great size and was very comfortable to swim in given that it is well heated. I would recommend anybody to use Fabiens place for a shorter or longer stay. It was a joy to be there for our family of 4 and we would consider visiting again sometime.

We had a great stay at Anthony's house with the family. The house is perfectly in line with the listing, very clean, spacious and well-equipped, ideal for a stay with several people. Anthony was a particularly attentive host and allowed us to leave a little later, which was very much appreciated. Fluid and responsive communication. A big thank you, we recommend without hesitation!

this house is amazing because of its peaceful location in the middle of the forest. A very beautiful enchanted interlude that brings calm and serenity. Equipment, bikes and games above our expectations. We were 10 girls and the rooms and bathrooms were quite numerous. The atmosphere of the house is great and you feel perfectly comfortable there. It's extremely welcoming and the impression is that it's inhabited and not a rental. It feels like home. An experience to redo. If you come with children, they will be thrilled. And if you come without yourself, you can go back to childhood. Thank you Alexis for this wonderful experience.
