29 Sandend Cottage

The family owned cottage has been fully refurbished in 2020. The kitchen with all major appliances / lounge / dining area is integrated and open plan. The shower room with u/f heating is on the ground floor. Two bedrooms rest on the first floor and are accessed by a spiral staircase. There is a small sea view window in the second bedroom with a comfortable chair for reading and looking out to sea. There is no TV. High speed WiFi Internet access available. Please note that no pets are allowed.

Ideal for quiet getaways, Writer’s Retreat is the perfect spot to slow down & relax. Enjoy beautiful sea views from the open plan kitchen area, or cosy up infront of the logburning fire in our living area. Explore local seaside towns, with shops, pubs & local amenities on the doorstep.

Cosy country Scottish cabin

Recharge and connect with nature in our cosy cabin amongst silver birch trees. Feed the red squirrels and the woodpeckers and spot the pine martens, deer and badgers. BBQ by the Burn and just unwind. Alternatively surf at Sandend, follow the whisky trail, play golf on the stunning courses and fish locally. Immerse yourself in the many historical castles and ruins. Light the log burner, cook supper in the quirky kitchen and sleep peacefully in pure linen sheets. Hot water bottles provided!

Old Police Station, Portsoy

Following a total renovation we are excited to offer this light and bright property, which is surprisingly spacious and finished to the highest standards. Unusual in configuration, it sleeps up to 4 people in 2 downstairs rooms, with a beautiful open plan lounge, dining and kitchen area at street level. There are 2 secure sheds for storing bikes or surf gear, and a pretty enclosed garden, which is quite a sun trap. Only a couple of minutes walk to the historic harbour, this is ideally located!

Escape to this cosy, well crafted forest hideaway, located just a few miles from the beautiful Moray Firth coastline. Whether you're snuggled in by the stove, outside cooking on the firepit or adventuring in the forest, you will be soaking in the views and nature at this idyllic glamping spot. The Hut is very well insulated and equipped with shower room (wc, basin and shower) and kitchenette (hob, stove top kettle, fridge & small freezer). A small wood burning stove sits central to the cabin.

The Old Merchant House, Portsoy Harbour

“The Old Merchant House” is a stunning, iconic, grade A listed property sitting immediately on the harbour front in Portsoy and is located on the Moray Firth coastal footpath and National Cycle Route 1. The property has a date stone of 1726 and was originally the home of Alexander (Laird) Brebner, a famous merchant and renowned smuggler. The house featured in the 2016 remake of the film "Whisky Galore". More recently the house featured prominently in the latest TV series of Peaky Blinders.

Hill Crest is a traditional stone-built cottage superbly located in a prime elevated site with spectacular panoramic views overlooking Cullen Bay in the Royal Burgh of Cullen. A charming and historic fishing village on the Moray Firth in Scotland, Cullen is beautifully positioned against the backdrop of 19th century railway viaducts. The two-story cottage sleeps 6 adults and makes for a fabulous dwelling for both couples and families looking to explore the rugged Moray Firth.

Harbour View Cottage is situated in the traditional fishing village of Sandend, nestled between the town of Portsoy and Cullen village. Sandend has one of the best surfing blue flag beaches in Scotland. The harbour offers fishing and "harbour jumping" as well as crabbing. Our cottage is one of the most spacious within the conservation village, with off street car parking available. We will do our utmost to ensure the best stay possible in our bright and comfortable cottage.
