(nearest grocery store) Emils Katthult about 6 km. Among other things, two national parks, (Kvill and Skurugata), close by with nice walking trails. Flea markets. Lovely nature outside the house for forest excursions or swimming and fishing.

It is quiet here in our small village, close to the forest & nature. We have a fully equipped house. Essentials such as toilet/paper towels, duvet, pillow, towels and bedding are included in the price. Cleaning is done by guest before checkout. Welcome to Älmesås! You will stay in your own little house on our farm. Within ten swedish miles you will reach Astrid Lindgrens Värld, Kosta Boda, High Chaparall among other nice places. You will stay in a very calm and quiet environment. If you take a walk, perhaps you will meet our nice Highland Cattles. You also can spend some time together with our bunny , four cats and the goats Iris, Diesel and texas. Perhaps you can get eggs from the chickens. The rooster Charlie says "Good morning"!

A baby cot/travel cot and high chair can be set up if desired. Only 10 minutes to the unique wooden town of Eksjö and about 45 both to Jönköping and Vimmerby (Astrid Lindgren's world). The car can be parked right by the property. The bed is made and towels and bath towels are available. Welcome!

The country store in Hult is a 1 km walk. To the swimming area with a restaurant at Movänta located at Försjön, it is about 2 km.

Greetings to Johan and Jeanette! We took another close look and were now in Svartarp for the tenth time. It was as always beautiful there and very relaxing for us. It is highly recommended to book the boat, whether for fishing or for nature observation from the water. This time we saw: white-tailed eagles, a bird of prey nest with breeding on the north bank, a duck with ten goslings (amazingly tame), mergansers, swans and Canada geese, all with offspring, common loons, cranes, cuckoos, many songbirds, woodpeckers, hares (this time no moose or badgers, as before), various arctic water birds in their summer quarters. Eksjö is tranquil and charming, always beautiful. Everything you need is on site, you can pay everywhere with a credit card. A small herd of cows (heifers) from the neighboring farm directly next to the house reinforces the pleasant rural feeling. We were there for the national holiday, there was a quite impressive little parade to and on the square in front of the church.

Very nice place. We were allowed to use a canoe as well on the nearby lake. There is 4G cell range so WiFi wasn't needed. The only pointer I could give is to replace the mattresses.

Morgan and Lotta are very nice and helpful hosts. They were always responsive and always took care of our well-being. The apartment is perfect for 2 adults and children, but there is only one separate bedroom. The apartment is very nice and corresponds to the photos. The terrace and the view on the lake are magnificent. The lake is not perfect for swimming as it is a bit overgrown on the floor, but a small swimming spot has been created to cool off. Stand up paddling and kayaking were possible all over the lake. The location is very quiet and you should even be able to see moose nearby, unfortunately we did not succeed. To get to Eksjö you already need a car. The location is well suited for day trips (e.g. moose park, Vimmerby, Väternsee). When cycling, gravel roads are to be expected. We enjoyed it very much!!!

We were very lucky to spend some unforgettable days in this beautiful house by the lake near Eksjö – and it was simply heavenly! The house is in an absolute dream location right on the water. Waking up in the morning with a view of the mirror-smooth lake is priceless. The property is spacious, quiet and lovingly maintained – a perfect oasis for relaxing and breathing deeply. We sat on the terrace for hours, watching the sunrise over the water and just enjoying the peace and quiet. The house itself is cozy, clean and very well equipped – nothing is missing. Particularly noteworthy is the large window front with a view of the lake and the proximity to nature, which you can feel here with every breath. A very special thank you also goes to Conny and his family - they were extremely friendly, helpful and always available. You don't just feel welcome here, you feel completely in good hands. Really great hosts!
