Beachfront holiday rental in Sandy Bay

What a find! Absolutely spotless and immaculate bungalow in a beautiful part of East Devon. Louise and Ian were extremely helpful and welcoming. A perfect spot for chilling out in the peace and quiet, but also in close proximity to Seaton, Beer and Sidmouth with their amenities. Thoroughly recommended!

Cute sea side themed cottage with views of the Ley and all the birds to the front and the prom and beach 20 feet from the back gate. Stunning coast line, great walks, good food nearby and only 20 minutes from Kingsbridge and 30.from Salcombe. Basic holiday kitchen, cosy comfy front room, large main bedroom and adequate 2nd with partial view of the sea. Parking permit for right opposite very convenient for us and the dogs. We had a super week, thanks Eva and Richard.

The host, Julie, was really helpful and responsive to our messages. Beautiful surroundings and the views from the chalet were incredible. We were visiting old friends and neighbours and it was an excellent base. The walk down into Shaldon along the golf course was convenient and stunning but be prepared for the walk back up!! The chalet had everything we needed and was really nicely decorated with comfy sofas and beds. Wish we were there longer and would love to go back.

A lovely property which is very well equipped, clean and comfortable. Right near the centre of Lyme Regis with a beautiful view from the top of the well kept garden. Many thoughtful extras and proactive communication which were much appreciated.

Fantastic location and property, photos do not really do it justice. Would defintely return and recommend to all. Access is on very narrow lanes but being on the coastal path and having such a fabulous beach on the doorstep meant our cars could stay parked for most of the stay. Listing states BBQ is gas - it's charcoal, helpful to know if planning a food delivery

A fabulous 4 night stay in this beautiful apartment in a great location with the added bonus of a balcony which we used every morning for breakfast & in the evenings with a glass of wine. it’s a great size for two people & a dog When we arrived a very thoughtful gift of scones, jam & cream & treats for the dog. Would thoroughly recommend & would love to return.

Stay Salty was excelent, central location and very close to a car park. Dog friendly and a beach just round the corner within easy walking distance. a couple of 100 yds. As bad weather was expected on one day Matt offered to supply extra dog towels if needed, totally unexpected but shows the level of service. Teignmouth was good and within easy reach of larger town if the need was there. Would recommend it to anyone who fancied the area along the glourous South Devon Coast.

We had a wonderful week staying at The Courtyard, beautifully furnished and extremely well equipped. Very comfortable upstairs lounge with two balconies to make the most of the views. Plus a lovely courtyard filled with gorgeous greenery making it feel very tropical (and lots inside too). The bed is probably the most comfortable we have slept in! Stoke Fleming is a lovely village with access to the SW coastal path in both directions – the walk to Dartmouth is a must (and get the bus back!) Lots of places to visit in the surrounding area too. Jill’s communication is excellent and I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending the Courtyard 😊we most certainly hope to return!

What a beautiful, stylish, beach-side appartment, with amazing views of the sea. We had a wonderful stay! The beds, furnishings, and all facilities are of excellent quality, making this a great place for a holiday. Annie is a wonderful Holiday Host, always so responsive and helpful, and even kind enough to reply straight away to a message we sent out of hours. Thanks Annie. We were welcomed with a lovely Devon cream tea hamper from Pebbles, who also ensured that the apartment, equipment etc, and bed-linens were pristine, and provided an iron within minutes. Thanks Pebbles. Great to have a dedicated parking spot right outside (Drivers: steep, windy road to South Sands makes the drive scenic but 'interesting'!) The apartment was fine for us for accessibility (wheelchair), having a lift right to the front door, and wide doors throughout. Recommend - Harbour Beach Spa (relaxing), Bo's cafe (beach vibe), Fortescue (friendly), SouthSands (dining), Coastal walks - and Devon beaches!

The lodge was very clean and had everything we needed. The location is great for exploring the whole area. Helen was flexible with arrival and check in which made the holiday less stressful with small kids! Brixham is a lovely town to stay. The site would benefit from the new clubhouse pool & bar which was opening imminently, which we missed.

Nicki’s apartment at Bigbury on Sea is just great. Well equipped, amazing views and in a beautiful part of Devon. Use of the indoor pool is amazing for kids, especially when the weather is a bit mixed! Nicki gave lots of info and recommendations which were super helpful. I hope to be back at Bigbury soon!

A wonderful caravan. Good spot high up with a stunning view of the sea and landscape but still close down to the beach. Family all loved it. Comfortable, clean and excellent quality with everything we needed. Also adored the sitting out the front terrace bit watching the sunset. We went for fossil hunting and it’s an easy drive to Lyme Regis and other Jurassic spots with nearby big shops in Exmouth. There’s also a great restaurant/bar on the sea side bit and a centre with extra bits in the holiday park. Definitely a place we’d consider going back to.

Wonderful - with a beautiful sea view that made it very special. Modern, clean and nicely decorated/equipped. We stayed as four women friends and it was perfect. The only thing I would say is that if you don’t know each other well or are physically large, the space is relatively small with only the one bathroom - which is clear from the listing - but worth bearing in mind.

Had a lovely weekend stay in the caravan, just as described and in a beautiful location. Host was excellent in communicating instructions for check in. will be rebooking in the future!

We have just returned from our stay and it was the perfect choice for a family. Lots to do at the park when some down time was needed and great coastal location. The accommodation was great - outdoor space, lovely lounge area and little touches like high chair and bed rail for our toddler included. Anja has thought of everything you could need and was very quick to help when we needed support on arrival (my issue not a lack of communication from the host). All in all a great choice for our half term getaway and we will certainly book again.

stayed here for 4 nights as a family with a dog, lovely caravan which felt more homely than the cheapest caravans through Haven directly. good location to the main facilities and dog walking area, good views of the sea. surprisingly we managed to fit our small travel cot in the main room which we were not expecting 😁. You can just about hear the firing range so it's wasn't disturbing at all. Haley was very responsive from initial inquiry through to check out, very nice to speak with and on hand if you need anything. Definitely recommend this place!

We had a fantastic stay! The house was spotlessly clean, bright, and beautifully kept — with a lovely welcome pack and plenty of local information provided. The beds were really comfortable, and both the bathroom and kitchen were modern and well-equipped, with all the essentials thoughtfully included (like salt, pepper, foil, etc.). The location couldn’t be better — just a couple of minutes’ walk to the beach and close to a charming high street full of shops, cafés, and pubs. It was also really easy to find and check in. The hosts were friendly, responsive, and made everything feel effortless. Would definitely recommend and hope to return!

This was a fantastic stay, with a great host. Carol was very quick to respond to any queries and very helpful at every time. The property was perfect, and exactly as described. Walkable to the beach and village. Very excited to stay here again some time!

Drift Net Cottage is just beautiful!! We had the best weekend celebrating my friend’s birthday and Steph left us some lovely little treats, so thoughtful. The cottage was super clean and cosy, with everything you need! Thank you Steph x

Absolutely blown away to be honest. The owl houses are stunning. From the overall feel to the small details they have nailed it. We had a great time in the Hideaway. It is spacious and cozy at the same time, has a perfect kitchen and placed away from the street. The location in Dawlish is perfect, you can reach the amazing train station of Dawlish or the city centre in 5 minutes by foot. Highly recommend a vacation in South Devon and staying at Frank.

This is in the perfect location -close to the beach and shops. The house is gorgeous and suited our multi generational stay. The kids had their own rooms at the back and the grandparents (with the easier stairs) were at the front. The house is beautifully furnished and it was lovely to stay there. Thanks for a lovely stay
