Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Santa Teresa Beach

Stayed here for a few days with my family and we loved the house. Very clean, great pool, great layout. There is major construction happening next door though that was extremely disruptive. The construction was happening up high on the roof while we were there so workers were just watching us while we were at the pool, it felt very uncomfortable. We also found screws and nails that had fallen into the yard which was very concerning to my barefoot kids running around. I know it's not the fault of the airbnb but some more notice about the construction to future renters while it continues on would be very helpful.

Our stay was fantastic, and I highly recommend this place. The house is tucked away in the jungle, surrounded by trees, palms, lush vegetation, and various animals. You can relax inside with air conditioning while enjoying the view through the large windows, or unwind on the spacious terrace and take in the natural surroundings. The interior was exactly as described - clean, well-maintained, and fully equipped with everything listed. The neighborhood is peaceful and quiet. Communication was excellent: quick responses, clear instructions, and even help guiding us to the house, which isn’t the easiest to find. There’s a beach nearby, and even the heart of the tourist area is within easy reach. You’ll definitely need a real 4x4 vehicle, as reaching the property requires crossing a stream several times - which can become more challenging during the rainy season. We would definitely choose this place again if we return to Costa Rica.

I highly recommend staying here if you are staying in Santa Teresa! I am a solo traveler and enjoyed my stay for a month here. The Airbnb is technically in Carmen Beach, which is a bit further than Santa Teresa beach but still walkable. Walk to the beach, supermarket, local restaurants, coffee shops, ATV rentals, and yoga studios. There is a steep incline to the Airbnb, which may be a challenge if you have health issues The view is INCREDIBLE and the garden makes it so peaceful, with a cozy hammock and outdoor couch to relax. The kitchen is outside too, and conveniently has a stove / oven, French press, cooking supplies, everything you need. I was worried there may be issues with bugs but that was not a problem. You need to get your own drinking water which is a bit annoying but the supermarket is extremely close by! The space inside is large and great for a solo traveler or a couple.

Hands down, this was the best AirBnB experience I have had to date. The property is exactly as advertised, the location is safe, secluded, and serene (especially during rainy season). Andi and his wife are incredibly helpful and gracious hosts. We communicated daily about best times for the cleaning/maintenance crew to perform their duties around my fluid and unpredictable schedule. They assisted with my transportation to and from the local airport, arranged my ATV rental for the week, arranged both an in-home massage therapist and an in-home chef, provided numerous specialized individual recommendations for restaurants, hikes, excursions, etc. I will absolutely be returning to The Green House in the future. This is an absolute gem!

Jeffe’s place is in an amazing spot in Santa Teresa. Easily walkable to all the best restaurants and beach bars. She gave us great recommendations and the place was great! The outside area was our favorite part!

I enjoyed my stay so much that I rebooked for two extra nights! This place is not only cozy and private, but also thoughtfully stocked with everything you could need. The attention to detail makes it feel like a true home away from home. The host is fantastic—responsive, kind, and communicates clearly throughout. A truly peaceful and well-run spot that I’d happily return to again and again.

The place is charming, it has everything, a pleasant homely atmosphere. The kitchen is very well equipped, the bathroom and shower are pleasant. The location is really central but quiet and close to the beach and restaurants and shops. The hostess was amazing and helped us with everything we needed immediately and happily. We had a great time! Recommend 😊

We stayed in the ocean view room and it was amazing. We saw the most beautiful sunrise, and an awesome lightning storm followed by great views of rainbows. They have an incredible gym and nice common area to visit with other guests. It is also so close to the heart of Montezuma making it ideal for our plans in the area. The hosts were very helpful and kind. Would definitely recommend if staying in the area.

This was the ideal space for someone working remote and wanting to experience Santa Teresa to its fullest. The host was very responsive and helpful whenever I reached out, and always went the extra mile to make sure I was comfortable. 10/10 would stay here again.

We stayed in 12 places across Costa Rica and this is by far the most beautiful, well thought-out place we have stayed in. You can tell that the owners wanted to make a good investment with comfort and pleasure for the guests in mind. Many other ‘luxury’ stays we went to, cut corners on materials and quality but this was just in an other universe. Many thanks Sophia!

No words can quite describe the magical experience of staying in this beautifully crafted treehouse. The view is incredible, but it is the tasteful and rustic personal touches that make the space feel so cozy and inviting. Peter was a welcoming, responsive, and kind host, and all of the love and craftsmanship with which he and his family have created their homestead is evident in every corner of this spectacular place. From waking up and watching the sunrise over the ocean from our crows nest bed, to taking a warm outdoor shower at twilight in the rain, to stargazing at night while lightning storms danced on the horizon, each moment was better than the next. The casita was equipped with everything one could need, and we were very comfortable with the fan at night. Thank you again Peter and Santiago for everything.

Amazing apartment in a great location, perfect for a couple/single, fully equipped kitchen and a cool shower

This apartment was amazing. Windows the length of the apartment looking out into nature was dreamy! Also have the apartment cleaned on a regular basis was nice, it’s nearly impossible to not drag sand in.

faith was such a lovely host who was there for you 24/7. The apartment was clean, tidy and very spacious. Especially the bed was so amazing and big, and we loved the fact that there was hot water (in contrast to other airbnb's that we visited). We expected a bit more of Santa Teresa itself because the locals said swimming is dangerous because of the current, rocks and waves. Also, it's not really a suitable place for beginner surfers.

We had a wonderful time at Scott and Natalia’s place in beautiful Santa Teresa! We stayed at 3 places in Costa Rica, and this was by far our favorite. The location was absolutely perfect and walking distance to everything, including the beach. It was very well maintained and they even suggested an amazing excursion. We rented ATVs and went to Montezuma and a ton of small towns on our own, with their suggestion. It was our favorite day of the trip! Lots of monkey and wildlife by the pool, and beautiful beach across the road. Do not hesitate to book this 100000/10 Airbnb. Great price too! Thanks again Scott and Natalia! We will be back with friends we hope.

The accommodation is very nice and well located. Marisa is amazing! She even added furniture before we arrived to accommodate us so we can have 4 meals around a table outside as well as inside. Super well decorated. Vegetation makes us feel good. Very well insulated inside so as not to hear the quad bikes passing on the main street. We loved it!

Absolutely loved my stay here! The location is perfect—everything is walkable. The beach and surf spot are just down the block, with great food options and a supermarket right across the street. The condo was clean, easy to cook in, and felt secure thanks to on-site security. I felt safe and comfortable the entire time. Would definitely stay here again!

It is a magical place in the middle of the jungle and with beautiful ocean view. The sunsets were amazing!!! The apartments are perfectly clean, the decoration is very nice. The beds are perfect. The barhrooms are spacious. Fully equipped kitchen. The terrace is very spacious and perfect for relaxing and enjoying the view.I highly recommend the place. Manzanillo Beach, just a three-minute drive away, is a beautiful place. We also enjoyed Santa Teresa Beach and Hermosa Beach. The hostess Luz is very kind, friendly and attentive. We enjoyed some wonderful days of vacation

Thank you for all the help this weekend. Nice location, very close to many nice places. I am fascinated by the number of animals on site, pool and furniture. In addition to this residential with a lot of security. A quiet and cute place to come as a family.

I had a great stay at Andrew’s! I can see why he’s a super host. Very responsive, friendly and flexible. The Condo had everything you need, and was super clean and tidy. The location of the Condo is in Los Delfines, which is a private complex, so we felt very safe and we were able to use their facilities. Will definitely come back, and I absolutely recommend you staying here

excellent location. close to very good beaches on both sides. would not bother with the local restaurant as you can get tastier and cheaper meals outside the complex. the place is as advertised. very clean and cozy. highly recommend if using as a base for all of the other beaches in the area. very satisfied.

Enjoying the Lapas Tricolor in its natural environment, watching them fly freely. It's something that you don't get elsewhere. We really liked being able to stay in a place where there is excellent security, cleanliness and respect for the neighbors following the rules. The whole team was very kind, they were very attentive to our needs. Congratulations have a property jewel, on future vacations I hope to be lucky enough to get to stay with you again.
