To be short: it was amazing. We needed a stay for one day because we were on our road trip to Sicily. We found this place and were stunned. The village is amazing, the people so heartwarming and Antonio and his parents: what should I say amazing people who were so helpful. I can recommend this place if you want to see aitea and the authentic Italian culture. Thank you so much for everything ❤️

Gerardo was a lovely host, we were greeted at the house with wine and snacks and Gerardo gave us great local recommendations. Very close to the beautiful beaches of Praia a Mare, though it’s not very easy to get down there by foot - you need a car to get down to the town/beach. The only thing we didn’t like about the house was that there were no fans in the bedrooms and it was very hot in there. There is AC in the living area which stays very nice and cool. Would recommend this place for small families as the beach at Praia is fantastic for children and families.

Viktoriya allowed us to stay at her place with very short notice (one day). She was quick to respond to messages, always very helpful and very flexible and accommodating! We found her apartment to be just as described. It was very clean, quiet, peaceful and cozy! Everything was well stocked and she even left a bottle of wine and a couple of beers in the fridge, which was an unexpected, but very much appreciated treat! The location was a quick drive to various restaurants and bigger beaches and we were able to walk down some stairs to a small, private beach and to see a beautiful sunset each night.

I traveled alone, the experience was very positive starting from the welcome. I met Monica, with whom I immediately had a feeling, attentive, present, she delighted my palate with excellent dishes based on fresh local fish. The accommodation is located in a condominium that was formerly a fortress. I really appreciated the architecture and the view, two essential things for my short vacation. The accommodation was as I expected, as in the photos. Every object and piece of furniture told a story. Those who love the minimalist style may not appreciate it, nothing was left to chance, everything was studied in detail. I would like to focus on the unparalleled panorama. I liked both the small terrace and the larger one. From both, you can admire the coast, the island of Dino and beyond. I found the peace and tranquility I needed. Experience to do again for sure!
