Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Sauble Beach

We had a great stay at Sauble Breeze Cottage. It's very well organized and clean inside - and outside there are great places to relax - around the fire pit or at the picnic table by the BBQ. I loved the outdoor shower, and Cheryl has added some nice extras - bikes and lawn games, as well as a wagon and beach gear for the short, easy walk to the beach. Check in and out was a breeze and communication was effortless. All around a great experience.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at Amanda’s cottage. The place is fully renovated with a picturesque front porch and a private backyard space. The cottage is nestled in between others and you can barely tell given how peaceful the street is. Proximity to Wiarton is a plus if you’re wanting to go out for food or a coffee shop. Highly recommend the stay, and Amanda is very responsive if you have any questions or need recos! Would definitely come back.

From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the waterfront location, offering serene views and a truly relaxing atmosphere. The home itself was very clean, which is always a top priority, and it was evident that great care is taken to maintain a spotless environment for guests. The helpful host truly made our experience exceptional. Communication was prompt and clear, and they went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, whenever required. This level of hospitality significantly enhanced our stay. The well-equipped kitchen was a dream for preparing meals. It had everything one could possibly need, from essential cookware and utensils to a good range of appliances. We enjoyed our stay—the listing was as described: clean, comfortable, and with a nice backyard. We stayed for two nights and kept things quiet, yet received a notification from Airbnb about a noise complaint, which seemed tied to past neighbor concerns. The first night, we arrived late and went straight to bed, and the second night, we spent some time by the firepit and were inside by about 11 p.m. The host was responsive leading up to checkout, though I haven’t heard back post-stay to settle a small outstanding payment. Overall, a pleasant experience!

Julie was a great host—accommodating, responsive, and kindly shared local recommendations. She adjusted our check-in time, which made it possible for us to start our hike at Lion’s Head Park early. The place was exactly as described, easy to find, and in a great location right by the grocery store & town centre. It was spacious (with generously sized bedrooms), clean, and perfect for our group to relax. Special mention that our group noticed there was excellent water pressure! Highly recommend staying here.

Our second stay at Mazen & Aya's place was just as fantastic as the first. Our family enjoyed a lovely snowy Christmas overlooking the lake and relaxing inside. The house is beautiful and well equipped. We hope to be back again next year!

What an absolutely gorgeous place with not even the smallest details overlooked. Cathy was friendly, kind and extremely easy to deal with. Everything was exactly as described but even more beautiful in person. We were so impressed! My Mom and I enjoyed the cozy living room after cooking a meal in the perfectly appointed kitchen. We enjoyed Netflix on the large TV and a great soak in the comfortable hot tub. The property was absolutely mesmerizing and we spent at least an hour walking about, admiring the countless decorations. The bed was luxurious and everything was clean and in great condition. Cathy also made time for us personally, showing us around the entire property when we asked to see it. Thank you so much for a memorable stay, Cathy! We cannot wait to come back.

I enjoyed a peaceful 2 weeks at this beautiful Airbnb! The setting is surreal surrounded by nature and a river! I had everything I needed and I enjoyed a few nights with a cozy fire in the wood stove. The bed and couches were very comfortable. The No Frills in Shelburne was a great grocery store nearby. Wendy was always very responsive and helpful. As clearly noted in the description, there is no cell service but not a big deal as there is wifi. I hope to be back again one day! A true gem!

Tess is lovely and their place is in the best possible location by the beach. Literally steps away. The weather was a little cold and rainy for late May but it made for a cozy retreat with lovely beach walks. You can walk beautiful long strips of uninterrupted beach. Library was nearby if you needed books for “staying in” days and across the street from it was an amazing, authentic Italian sandwich and gelato place the hosts suggested (Che Roba! Soooo good) Overall my husband and I loved it and would definitely go back!

Wonderful place to stay, the host was very responsive and helpful with troubleshooting a booking mistake on my end. The unit itself is as advertised and in great condition. All expectations were met and the communication was excellent!

We had a fantastic stay at Sarah's place. The surroundings were very peaceful and private, yet conveniently close to all amenities. We were in the area for a fastball tournament, and this accommodation was a much nicer option than a hotel or motel. We utilized the kitchen to prepare our breakfasts and dinners instead of eating out, and the living room was a comfortable space for us to relax in during the evenings. The bedroom was spacious, and the bed and linens were extremely comfortable. We would definitely recommend this place to our friends and family. Thank you for a great stay!

Matt and shauna were marvellous hosts!! they were extremely responsive and very kind! The house was perfect! Exactly as described, right by the water, for a great price! The cutest place with a full kitchen which was greatly appreciated! The weather wasn’t great but nothing a great book and even better view couldn’t fix! It made the perfect destination for our girls trip! 1000/10 recommend staying with them if you can!

He checks up on you to make sure to follow the rules since it is a calm and peaceful neighbourhood. Great place to stay for our first ski trip to blue mountain.1

Our group had a great stay at Mina’s place! The home was exactly as pictured — clean, spacious, and really comfortable for a group. The place was amazing. Easy to find, very well instructed (Very detailed house manual) and perfect for a large group. The house was clean, lots of things to do like board games, large TV, music system, Table Tennis and Foosball. All the bedrooms and bathrooms were clean as well. The outdoor part of the house was equally amazing! Beautiful hot tub, Sauna and fire place, Volleyball sand court, Trampoline and a sand dune!! This house was very close to the Tiny beach which was the best part. (3-5mins walkable). Big thanks for Calvin, the house owner, who was the very responsive at all times. Very cooperative and friendly. He also allowed us with late checkout without any hesitation considering we are a large group. I definitely recommend this place to those who are specially looking for a large group stay.

Firstly, this home was the nicest vacation home my family and I have EVER stayed at. It was very spacious, luxurious finishes throughout , it fit my family of 7 very well. The rooms are all good sizes. There are 4 rooms with beds in them, an office on the main floor that we put a crib in for the baby and an additional room in the basement which could be used as a bedroom if you bring a blowup mattress. The backyard is huge, the playground set was a great treat for my kids, however the hot tub did not seem like it was operable. Mina our host was absolutely AMAZING! Her response time to any of our enquires was very prompt, she made sure we truly enjoyed our stay. We would have loved if the home had blackout curtains as the rooms get quite bright in the morning when the sun comes up, but it wasn't the end of the world. All in all, it was an AMAZING STAY! Definitely recommended!!

Patricks place was a perfect mini get away thats close around the city! We absolutely loved how private and spacious his place is. The pool and sauna was needed on a hot day! Definitely will come back again!
