Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Saugatuck

My wife and I have stayed at many vacation home rentals over the years, this one was one of the very best! First, I booked they house late afternoon on the day we wanted to arrive. Sarah responded immediately, accepted our booking and got me the access code to the property. It was all done within a few minutes! The house was beautifully decorated (my wife loved it and she is a designer!), well appointed and located very conveniently to all of the places we wanted to spend our time. We loved the hot tub, used the sauna almost every morning and our Golden Doodle loved the big fenced in back yard. Sarah and Brady are unbelievably responsive to needs too! One evening we wanted to enjoy the fire pit, but they were out of fire starters. I contacted Sarah at 7:36p, she responded at 7:37p and by 7:51 Brandy had already dropped a box of fire starters on the front porch! What?!?!?! Amazing. I HIGHLY recommend this place, we will be back!

Can’t say enough about how convenient the location was to several wineries and short drives to multiple destination towns. The house itself was very modern, spacious and clean. Very well decorated, comfortable and thought out for all your needs. The two person sauna and hot tub were nice and relaxing. There was a little park at the end of the road for viewing the sunset of Lake MI that was nice but fenced off to beach access. There was a public beach listed on Google Maps a mile away but when we got there it was misrepresented because signs were posted no parking and the two walk ways to it were private property marked. Seemed like the whole neighborhood was private property access. We weren’t going in the water in April but if someone planned on a close beach day, the nearest was a ten minute or more drive and not a walk.

Lisa is a top notch hostess! We mistakenly arrived a day early! I know, how is that even possible, right? 😂 We made a mistake lol! We were in town to celebrate of 5th wedding anniversary. Lisa was so sweet! She tried to help us find a place to stay nearby. The home was very clean and accommodating. Great location. We even walked a little over a mile to town to have ice cream. 🍨Our pups loved being able to romp and play in the yard. Lisa was very responsive during our entire stay. We usually come to Holland a couple of times a year and will definitely try to stay at Tulip Cottage during future visits. Thank you Lisa for making our stay a beautiful one. Blessings to you! The place was amazing. Plenty of space for my girlfriend, me and our two dogs. Kimberly gave lots of great recommendations and went above and beyond to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. Thank you again!!

Loved staying here! It was comfortable, had more than enough room, and it wasn't far from town or the beach-so there was a lot to do! Diane left us some suggestions on restaurants and places to visit, made sure there were some welcome snacks, and was an all-around great host!

Very comfortable stay would definitely use him again. We use the house to stay to be close to our wedding venue. Any issues we had he was quick to respond and ready to fix it ( mostly not his doing we lost power in storm) other issues were address quickly. We use Airbnb often for hockey tournaments and are hoping if we play in holland we can put the coaches up here again. Highly recommend.

The excellent taste of the hosts sets this rental apart from the rest. The decor in the home is beautifully curated. When you combine that with the views, it's a perfect vacation spot! We were grateful to be able to return for our fourth visit to Charles and Jeremy's home. Thank you for sharing it with us--we love it!

Unbelievable stay with 6 adults, 4 kids. Fully stocked house, with everything you could ever need. Pristine bedrooms and bathrooms, comfortable beds. Kitchen was huge and pool/outdoor BBQ and amenities were great. A 2-minute walk to the beach, and close drive to Saugatuck and downtown for restos. Highly recommend

This is our 3rd year in a row to come for an extended Labor Day weekend and bring our kids and/or grandkids. We love the setting. The pool is perfect for the younger kids and the adults appreciate the beauty of all the surroundings, including at poolside. If we could change anything at all we would add another bedroom as we can't quite get all of our extended family here at one time. That said, we would like to return for a 4th year at Labor Day weekend time next year. The combination of beauty, privacy, amenities, condition (always in great shape!), and proximity to lovely South Haven can hardly be beat!

Northern Lights condo is beautifully appointed and very comfortable. You will not find a cleaner rental! There are many thoughtful touches such as bath supplies and local attraction maps. We spent the weekend attending a wedding at the Felt Estate, just 10 minutes away. The condo is in a quiet location and close to all local attractions.

This was such a beautiful place!

We had a lovely family reunion at St Joe’s overlook. Kitchen came with literally everything- all sorts of cooking instruments (crock pot, air fryer, toaster etc), spices/oils, and zip lock bags for leftovers. All brand new appliances and ample prep space. We got the pool heated and it was wonderful! Very large size to fit all the family kids. The hot tub was a nice save for the adults who were freezing. Beautiful views from the living room of the river with ample and comfy seating. The home was perfect for a large gathering. We appreciate Evan and Claire hosting us they were always responsive and helpful.

Lovely home, many well thought out perks like fans in upstairs rooms and beach toys for kids! Info said it was an easy short walk to beach so I spent a whole lot more than I usually would. With children it would not be pleasant and is really not a short walk (and is on a semi busy road) & beach is down a whole lot of steps. BUT there are parking spaces so it was fine. Within the house, the steps are fairly steep at parts & there are 2?big ones going into house &!these were hard for my 70 year old mom w knee issues. So if person reading reviews is one of those people, this might not be THE place. That being said, it is very short walk to community pool & host is very responsive & house is beautiful! My mom mostly stayed within first floor including an awesome bed/bath on ground floor. There are games (although I didn’t love the Ouija board 🫣😂) . This would be a great place for multiple family / friends to split cost ;) Its very beautiful & community pool & hot tub are great!

This is our 5th year of vacationing in New Buffalo and have stayed at Missy's place on 3 of those visits! The house works beautifully for our family (7 adults and 4 kids under 6 yo) and you're never tripping over each other, which makes it so relaxing! We'll be back!!

My wife and I came for our 5th wedding anniversary. The stay was fantastic and they were extremely responsive with even the littlest of things.

Our family had such a wonderful experience during our stay! The house was beautiful and thoughtfully organized, making us feel right at home. The neighbors were very welcoming, which added to the warmth of our visit. We look forward to returning in the future to create more memories. Thank you, Phil, for making our time there so special!

We enjoyed our weekend stay celebrating a bachelorette weekend. The back deck was beautiful and perfect for evenings outside. Would recommend this place!

Really enjoyed our stay this past weekend. Peaceful and quiet locations. House was clean and quite cozy. Loved the location. The beds were super comfy and the hot tub provided some much needed relief after the chilly days. We had some difficulty with the keypad but the owners were quick to respond and reached out to assist immediately. Totally would stay again and would highly recommend.

You can tell a lot of time and energy was put in to make this Airbnb great. The artwork is great. Super nice to have the basics provided like olive oil, salt/pepper, an umbrella, and coffee beans. The whole place is amazing but especially liked the outdoor part. It’s very private, and comfortable to eat dinner outside, sit around the fire pit or enjoy the hot tub. The perfect airbnb for a couples trip as you have your own private spaces.

We had a great short getaway. The house was cozy and close to the things we wanted to see while out on our trip. We had a pleasant conversation while we stopped at their store down town and got some recommendations on where to go for dinner ( although I forgot half of them!). All in all a nice get away

This cozy cabin is in a perfect location, just a short drive from so many great spots. Despite being close to the owners’ house, I felt like I had complete privacy, especially with the deck facing the woods and the fire pit area all to ourselves. The space is small but thoughtfully equipped with everything you need, making it a perfect retreat for a relaxing, nature-filled getaway.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Nesting Nook!! This was our family’s very first AirBnb… and it was amazing. Our trip was planned last minute, and Lakeshore Vacation Homes made it super special and stress-free. If we are to come back to the area, we would 100% stay here again. Would recommend to anyone! Walkable to downtown Saugatuck and to Kalamazoo lake AND a quick drive to Lake Michigan. The location was perfect, the neighborhood is gorgeous, and the neighbors were incredibly nice. Plenty of amenities (toaster, full fridge, spices, towels, beach chairs, etc). LOVE IT!!! Would rate it more than 5 stars if possible.

We had the best time at The Gambrel; the perfect multi-generational getaway! Johnny and Michelle have literally thought of everything you could possibly need. The house is the perfect distance away to be private yet convenient. Any tiny question we had was answered within minutes. The area is safe, quiet, and serene. Lots of areas for multiple families to congregate but also have privacy within the home. Every detail has been thought of and the primary bedroom showerhead is to die for! I will be dreaming of this vacation home and will definitely return!
