This place is absolutely incredible. My wife and I went for a long weekend for our 2nd anniversary and this bnb was the perfect location for just that. It’s secluded, peaceful, and the open air kitchen brings a fun jungle vibe to your stay. My favorite part of the house was the terrace and that beautiful view that comes with. AC in the bedrooms kept us nice and cool at night. And from reading other reviews I was a little worried about the drive up, but it’s not that bad get a 4X4 vehicle and send it! Big shout out to Loren for meeting us later than expected when we first arrived, that guy is a legend! The only recommendation I have is to stay as long as you possibly can!!!!

Such a perfect little spot for us on our way to San Jose. Loved the convenient location and ease of getting in and out. The house is super thoughtful and well designed with lots of light, nice kitchen and bath and a beautiful green space out back. Very peaceful at night and it felt very secure with the car behind a big gate. We will be back. Thank you! Recommended!

This is one of my favorite Air BnB stays. We stayed a week and loved it. The house is very tasteful and well appointed. It has lovely spaces and gardening all around. Beata was very responsive and helpful with local recommendations. I would return again and highly recommend a beach stay here.

This was one of the nicest properties we have ever stayed in. The property is incredible. Josh and Cheyenne were super helpful and responsive. Josh showed my kids the chicken coup and greeted us with fresh eggs. He also helped us change our flat which was much appreciated. The property is very clean, tastefully designed with an incredible view. Would highly recommend a four wheel drive and finding it is a bit tricky but Cheyenne guided us. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Amazing views. The outside deck and kitchen are great and make the home feel much larger. Rudy, the caretaker, is super responsive if you need anything. The road and driveway are intimidating the first time but get easier after a couple of trips up and down.

Absolutely amazing place! Everything was spotless, cozy, and beautifully set up with an incredible view. It felt just like home—with all the appliances you could need, plus extra sheets and blankets, all organized and squeaky clean with no clutter in sight.Leandro was incredibly kind and helpful, and communication was smooth from start to finish. One of our favorite parts was the easy self-check-in, which made everything feel relaxed and comfortable.Rose, the lovely lady who takes care of the property, was so sweet and generous—she even gifted us some fresh oranges and bananas!I recommend this place 200%! We loved staying here! I’ve been to a lot of Air B@Bs and this was my favorite. The house is updated and has air conditioning in the living room and bedrooms. The kitchen has everything you need to cook. The beds are comfortable. We really enjoyed sitting outside on the patio. The view is amazing. This place is located in between uvita and Quepose so it was about a 35 minute drive to both. Taryn was an excellent host who was friendly and helpful.

Wonderful! We would definitely return. This place is at the end of a dead end road so it is very private and serene. We are family of 8 with children and the pool is awesome. Found the place just as the pictures and descriptions are listed. We love nature and birds and were not disappointed. This is the dry season so the road in was fine. I believe we could have made the drive without 4x4. It does take a minimum of twelve minutes to reach the casa from the paved highway. The place was not booked much this month and Suzanne offered to let us stay longer for a discount but we had to get home but thank you anyway. The electricity went off for a couple hours one day and the internet went out a couple of times but we have been to Costa Rica three times and have come to expect a little of that. Go ahead and book this property and you will not be disappointed.

There's a whole family of monkeys that lives right around this house and it was so amazing to be able to see them everyday. The house is quite close to the road, but the road is really quiet. If you're going with other people outside of your family, there is not a lot of privacy as both the upstairs rooms are completely open to each other and the downstairs. It wasn't a problem for us with small children, but something to note. kitchen was well stocked and the views and sunsets were stunning. This is our favorite area of Costa Rica in this Laguna's neighborhood.

This place is beautiful, absolutely amazing views, the food at the hotel is fantastic. We had monkeys and tucans within 20' of the balcony. if this is available you should book it

This place is exactly as it looks and is described, which makes it a good Airbnb and good value (at the price as of April 2025 at least). Carles and his co-host communicate well and everything about the place is easy (easy to find, check-in, care for, etc). It isn't fancy but it is nice/well-built (small things like the shower water doesn't get all over the bathroom like with many similar shower setups) and comfortably arranged for 1-2 people with 2 desks for working etc. Would absolutely return. Downsides, if you want to know them: the immediate surrounding area is nothing special (it's in a nondescript small development), and there was quite a bit of noise in the morning, including starting at 5:30am on Saturday (this may be temporary/construction). It didn't interfere with my enjoyment, but it is good to know.

I just want to start off and say that this is the best house that I’ve ever booked a vacation at the people that owned The house are literally amazing and so helpful. The location is so beautiful. Everything is so clean and organized. The air conditioner works amazing Too with the heat they literally booked all of our excursions and picked us up from the house Was always so patient with us and literally made our trip so amazing I will definitely come back worth every penny I had the best birthday ever and the views and the pool was so amazing 100000/10 recommend this house to anyone looking To come to Costa Rica !!!!😍

This stay was beyond perfect. The home was spotless, beautifully designed with high ceilings and seamless indoor-outdoor living thanks to massive sliding doors. It was stocked with everything imaginable—top-notch cookware, quality toiletries, even thoughtful touches that made it feel like home. With a child in tow, we appreciated how safe and comfortable the space was. You’re tucked into the rainforest mountains, so brief water or power outages can happen—something we expected and which was well communicated. It didn’t impact our stay in the slightest. Just be sure to have a 4x4 to access the area. Karl and Ivonka have truly created an oasis—every detail made us feel welcomed and cared for. If you’re like us and debating where to stay, trust that this one is even better than the photos. Nearby, Tagua Café is a gem, and the surrounding waterfalls and restaurants made the trip even more special. Truly unforgettable. Thank you!

I spent two most relaxing days in the loft. Perfect place for those who like being in the middle of nature. The cabin is an open structure with nets instead of windows. It is very well equipped, including a complete kitchen and an outdoor shower. For those who are addicted to A/C, there is none due to the open character of the loft, but 3 fans are more than enough to cool you down. Pablo, who takes care of the property, was most welcoming and nice, leading the way to the cabin and giving some good advice for things to do in the area. I would recommend going there at least in an SUV as the last 5 minutes of driving involve some steep and bumpy bits. My personal highlight was seeing a group of spider monkeys passing by directly in front of the terrace while having my morning coffee! I can only highly recommend this place!

Eine Erfahrung in den Bergen von Costa Rica. Das am höchsten gelegene Dorf in Costa Rica ist nur ein paar Minuten mit dem Auto entfernt. Das Grundstück liegt zwischen 3 Nationalparks. Um zur Unterkunft zu gelangen hat uns Julian herzlich empfangen und zu dem Haus gebracht. Die Aussicht in Schlaf und Wohnzimmer ist unbezahlbar und sucht definitiv seinesgleichen!! Uns hat es extrem gut gefallen. Kann ich jedem, der eine Unterkunft in dieser Höhenlage sucht sehr empfehlen!

Nos encantó el lugar. Está muy bien equipado y es muy bonito. También está en el puro centro de Santa María. Los anfitriones dieron instrucciones claras y respondieron rápido. Quedamos con ganas de volver más días. El bus/hospedaje está dentro de una propiedad en donde hay otra cosa, lo cuál lo hace seguro y también hay privacidad. Gracias!

Juan Carlos es un excelente anfitrión. Contesta rápido, es muy amable y educado. La cabaña está en un lugar silencioso, ideal para dormir bien, lo cual necesitaba porque viajaba para subir el Chirripó. Las camas cómodas y la vista impresionante.

Nos encantó nuestra estadía. La casa es muy cómoda, con una excelente distribución y a pocos minutos caminando de la playa. La cocina está completamente equipada con todo lo necesario para cocinar. Las duchas tienen regaderas potentes y relajantes. La piscina es preciosa y está ubicada en una posición ideal, justo en el centro de las habitaciones, lo que la hace perfecta para disfrutar en grupo o en familia. Además, Aññeska fue de gran ayuda durante toda nuestra visita: muy amable, atenta y siempre dispuesta a colaborar. ¡Definitivamente volveríamos!

Bosque Tapanti fue una experiencia única para celebrar el cumpleaños de mi esposa. Estar aislados del ruido y prisas de la ciudad durante unos días era realmente lo que buscamos y lo encontramos acá. Las vistas y alrededores dejan sin aliento y con ganas de quedarse mucho más. La casa como tal es cómoda, perfecta para una pareja y con todo lo que necesitamos. También aprovechamos para conocer Tapanti y conocer sus senderos, la naturaleza del área es impresionante. La hospitalidad de Ignacio fue excelente al igual que la comunicación, no tuvimos ub solo problema, todo salió a la perfección.
