In summer there are seating and sunbathing facilities in the garden. In winter, the cross-country ski trail is at your doorstep Private sauna for rent in summer with outdoor shower (including towels, bathrobe and infusion from 10 am - 6 pm) Feel free to rent bikes in summer by appointment. We are happy to provide sleds for children.

This very modern and high-quality furnished guest apartment is located in the center of the Dietzhausen district of the city of Suhl with parking space on the property. Shopping and restaurants are within walking distance. The Haseltal cycle path leads directly past the property. The outdoor pool is about 300 meters away. The skiing and hiking areas in the Thuringian Forest (Oberhof with international competition venues and Schmiedefeld) are easily accessible by car in 20-30 minutes as well as by public transport.

My family and I live on the sunny outskirts of Waldau, directly in the beautiful Ansbachtal at the foot of the Thuringian Forest. A separate entrance leads you to your area of the house. The bright and newly renovated rooms invite you to relax. The forest is almost at your doorstep. It is only a few minutes by bike to the Ratscher mountain lake. The Goethe city of Ilmenau, the state capital of Erfurt or the Vestestadt of Coburg in neighboring Bavaria are easily accessible by highway.

Visit our apartment on the Little Thuringian Forest in the beautiful district of Gethles von Schleusingen. The apartment has a separate entrance and has two bedrooms for a total of 4 people. Take a vacation with us in a quiet, forest location and enjoy Thuringian cuisine. Hiking trails start right in front of the apartment. Regional and national cycle paths are available for cyclists. For motorcyclists, tours through the Thuringian Forest are available.

Guest house on the Schleusehof... enjoy nature!

Our guest house (about 89 m) is located on our mini-farm, which we run as a hobby. The Schleusehof is idyllically located on a small river, where you can cool your feet on hot days. The house sleeps 4 people (2 adults + 2 children). On request, we also have a baby cot for the little ones. The farm offers space to romp and relax. This lovingly furnished vacation home was newly built in 2023 and impresses with its unique location and its unobstructed view on a plateau right on the edge of the forest. It is an ideal starting point for hiking/cycling tours in the Thuringian Forest and is ideally suited for couples, friends and families. The spacious property offers enough space. In the house, all 3 bedrooms are furnished in pine wood.

Within a 6000 sqm plot below the Veste Coburg you get a bungalow with every comfort. 3 rooms, 100 sqm, with kitchen (equipped with everything), two bathrooms, secluded terrace with large garden. Absolutely quiet and yet right in the middle of it all. 5 minutes by car and 10 minutes on foot to the center. High-quality furnishings. Floor-to-ceiling windows with a wonderful view of nature and Coburg.

Small apartment of about 60 square meters. It has a living room, two bedrooms (one with a double bed, as well as one with 2 single beds), spacious kitchen with counter and bathroom. The bathroom has both a shower and a bathtub. Guests have a cozy terrace at their disposal and the garden can also be used. A grill is of course available.

Forest Hideout

Our apartment is located in quiet forest surroundings but within walking distance to Sonneberg town centre. It is perfect for hikers and mountain bikers, with hundreds of kilometres of trails leading into the Thuringian Forest national park from our front door.
