Northwoods Beach House: Your Summer Haven!

RamRating, 5 stars5 days ago
Dear FVR team, Thanks for hosting us ! We enjoyed our stay. I must say your team is exceptionally good in maintaining the property and providing amenities. We felt at home with everything we need was avaialble readily. I also thank you for providing coffee and generous amount of toiletteries. Especially when we forgot the well packed bag at home, this came in super handy avoiding a rush trip to a store. Much appreciate it. We would love to come back again for our vacation next year to one of your properties. I would love to post a detailed review once back home. If I were to specially say thanks to any individual, please let me know. Have a nice day Regards Ramana Hogirala

The Carriage House on Stevens Lake

KimberlyRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Karen was an amazing and friendly host! Very thoughtful and helpful— we had just tied the knot the day before so we were greeted with a bottle of wine and a handmade “just married” card. SO sweet! The entire place was clean, comfortable and it had everything we needed! My hubby and I both agreed it was the best Airbnb we have ever booked. Next time we visit northern Michigan we will be staying here again!

Thimbleberry Cottage: Summer Fun on the Shores

JamesRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Amazing getaway! Beautiful sunrises on the lake, with a nice beach to walk. Just be aware of the time of your stay. We stayed in late may and the midges (flys) were rly bad. Made it almost impossible to be outside for too long, ofc had we done research we would have known end of may is the worse time for them. Other than that everything was perfect!

Shoreline Oasis- Summer Adventures Begin Here

This home is absolutely beautiful, and has a lot of amenities right there for you. 3 families were on this vacation 6 adults and 3 children and there was plenty of room and activities to do for all of us. The kitchen is fully stocked with utensils, pots pans and even spices. We always bring our own but it was an added bonus, some BNBs are flvery frugal. There was even a washer and dryer available which was so nice to use. Overall this place was a absolutely beautiful and we would stay again, maybe a little further in the summer to get in the lake more, the shallow waters and tide pools were amazing to walk in and explore. We saw so many tadpoles and even found a salamander. Our vacation was so lovely. This place is full of amenities, space to hang out and tons of property to explore.

Water's Edge: Golden Sands & Blue Waters

This property is not to be missed if you want a private, peaceful getaway on a beautiful sand beach. The weather we enjoyed was perfect and the sunrises and sunsets were beyond AMAZING!! At night, the stars lit up the sky as we sat on the beach by the firepit and just relaxed while reviewing our day. There is a grocery store and some restaurants in Manistique for food, about a 12-15 minute drive. Nice central location to explore and we were able to make day trips to Pictured Rocks, Marquette, Mackinac Island, and some other local attractions. The kitchen is well stocked and appliances are new, beds are comfortable with good linens, home is very clean, downstairs is cozy, upstairs is bright and light. No AC and we did have to break out the fans in the master which gets the most sunlight, but the cool nights would cool things down again. Highly recommend and would stay again!!

My husband and I stayed with our 2 boys. The place was extremely clean and stocked with anything you could possibly need. The property itself was breathtaking and had so many little areas to explore. Breathtaking views from all areas. Travis was extremely helpful and friendly. We would definitely recommend!

Tranquil Lakefront Cottage

We had a great time in Pete's house at the lake. You directly have the feeling that Pete is also using the house himself, so the house is very well equipped. Navigation leads you to a place a bit off of the actual location. But with Pete's instructions, it was no problem.

Pure Michigan Idyllic Cabin

BrianRating, 5 stars10 months ago
I cannot recommend Erika's lake house in Manistique, MI enough. From the moment we booked, Erika was incredibly responsive and accommodating. The cabin itself was spotless and had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. The highlight of our trip was definitely the kayaking on the lake. The peaceful surroundings and crystal-clear waters made for a relaxing and memorable experience. We also enjoyed spending evenings by the campfire, roasting marshmallows and stargazing. The secluded location of the cabin made it feel like we were truly getting away from it all. Overall, our stay at Erika's lake house was nothing short of perfect. We left feeling rejuvenated and grateful for the opportunity to experience such a beautiful and peaceful setting. We will definitely be returning in the future. Thank you, Erika, for a wonderful stay!
