Scottish Highland Castle, Blackcraig Garden Apt

MartjeRating, 5 stars2 months ago
We had a fantastic stay at the castle. The property was easy to find and the area is beautiful and quiet with forest and fields all around, easy for walks. There is also lots to do in the area, we went clay pigeon shooting close by which was lots of fun. We stayed at the garden cottage which was cosy and had everything we need. The living room with portable dining table was a great use of space and good for family diner and board games. We would love to return and stay again. Thank you for hosting us!

East Lodge

AlexanderRating, 5 stars2 months ago
The lodge was unbelievably beautiful and the pictures don’t do it justice. Felt like a dream and the host was great. Made sure we had what we needed for a peaceful and pleasant stay. Probably one of the best views we’ve had while enjoying our breakfast. Would absolutely recommend East Lodge and will have to come back

Stay in Castle: Royal Apartment on Seaside Estate

DanielRating, 5 stars5 days ago
Our family loved Dunskey! We were a party of 8 adults and a four year old. We loved the peaceful surroundings with lots of hiking. Our four year old loved the chest full of age appropriate toys in our flat and she loved the hike to the sandy beach. The gardens were lovely and maze was fun. we used the tennis court everyday and even had a little family tournament. The views are stunning whether the sheep's in the fields or the rugged coast. Portpatrick was a short car ride or a nice walk. Quaint Little Town wth spectacular view. Everyone we met were extremely friendly. Our hosts were great ..very helpful and accommodating. We would definitely stay again ...loved it

Spacious Historical Apartment near Edinburgh

EvaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
It was really something special to stay at Kinghorn Town Hall. The accommodation is just as beautiful as in the photos and even after a few days just as impressive as at the beginning. Kinghorn is a cute little town, right by the sea and with a few stores and a delicious bagel café. We found it a great base for exploring the surrounding countryside as well as going to Edinburgh (also good access by train). We would love to come back someday.

Tower of Glenstrae - Loch Awe

BriarRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We love staying in accommodation with some quirks, so the history of the Tower of Glenstrae really drew us in. The setting is just wonderful, with amazing views of Loch Awe right on your doorstep and private access to the nearest train station, which is quaint and cute (not to mention convenient). We were able to visit Oban, Inveraray and some smaller towns within a short drive. Although the weather made it difficult to travel locally on foot, we were happy to spend our nights curled up in the living room looking at the Loch.

The Pod - Urban Retreat, NITB app. Near Belfast

JanineRating, 5 stars11 months ago
Overall, our stay in Belfast with Dora and Brendan was wonderful. Very cosy facilities, comfortable bed and modern appliances with the added bonus of a swimspa, hot tub and smoke house. Our hosts were incredibly helpful and responsive and went over an above to assist us when we had some personal issues arise. The space is small but comfortable - but important to note would only really suit a couple as there is no kitchen sink, small bathroom and small mini-fridge. Would highly recommend.

Glenternie House Two Twin Beds

PatrickRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Glenternie house is a beautiful home rich in history. The interior decorations have been kept true to the period the house was built. Although it does not qualify as a manor house, due to comparatively smaller land area, it has the look and feel of a manor house, with all the tradition that comes with it. The house was easy to find using online map applications. Plenty of parking. The location is out in the country of the Scottish Borders and is one of the quietest, most peaceful places I have ever stayed in. Plenty of room to get out and stretch your legs, and a beautiful garden to wander around in. We agreed to the in house dinner offered by Lucy. The food was amazing, far better than we had in most restaurants. Lucy was very attentive and answered the myriad of questions we had as newcomers to the UK, and Scottish Borders. The bed was very large and comfortable, with an ensuite tub and bathroom and beautiful decor. Definitely would stay again.

The Faerie Veil Hideaway

IuliaRating, 5 stars24 months ago
The location is absolutely amazing, there are no words to describe it. The castle has its own rustic charm but is equipped with the best modern facilities and the views are out of this world. Paul and Anna made us feel perfectly comfortable and were very helpful in providing us with information and recommendations for the local area. While I wish we could have stayed longer, this place made for the perfect weekend getaway. We were able to get a good night's rest in the lavish king size bed after exploring the beautiful grounds and in the morning came down to a freshly made breakfast that we chose off the menu. I would definitely recommend this location to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat.

DOLLARBEG CASTLE - The Tower - luxury 3 bed rental

TaylorRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
The castle was stunning- inside and out. It was better than the pictures! I loved the quaint area. Far enough from big city to get peace, but close enough for a quick drive to smaller towns (down the street), and larger towns within 25 minutes (Stirling). The property is very well maintained and a great experience to live the "castle life". The inside did not disappoint! Every room got better and better. The first bedroom has a classic royal design. It is offset from other rooms and was perfect for my mom to stay in. My husband and I had the master with an ensuite. It was luxurious with robes, slippers, a glass vanity, hair dryer, flat iron, and more! The main area was beautifully decorated and kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. The stairs continuing up the tower led to a fun TV room, another room with stunning views where my teens stayed, and finally the balcony was indescribable. The property manager was a fantastic communicator and we enjoyed being welcomed so warmly!
