The farm has a small herd of Alpacas, including a baby Alpacas born in June 2023. The cottage has 2 bedrooms (one superking, one king). The cottage is a perfect base for exploring Inverness, the Highlands and the NC500.

The Old Map Shop

The Old Map Shop was originally part of the village school. In more recent times it was a map shop, but then lay empty for a number of years before it was sensitively converted into a holiday property in 2020 - 2021. Caldbeck has a pub, cafes and a few shops. It is a great base for exploring the northern fells or for a stop on the Cumbria Way.
