"Hunsrück Valley View" Holiday Home with SAUNA

A two-bedroom stylish and comfortable holiday apartment for up to four, with a terrace and picture-perfect view of the valley and mountains below. A cedar barrel sauna is available (at extra cost). The entire apartment was renovated in March 2024, including a new sauna oven (it gets really, really hot now), acoustic paneling, new kitchen with Bosch appliances (oven, dishwasher), rain-water shower, a washing machine with dryer, and new beds. You can also visit our herd of Scottish Highlanders!

The apartment contains a fully equipped high-quality kitchen with a microwave, Senso coffee machine, oven, fridge-freezer and toaster. In addition to the 2 box-spring beds, two sofa beds are available. Towels and linens are optional. In the garden you will find chickens and 1 bantam rooster. Opposite is a small grocery store with bakery and butcher shop that is open from 7 am to 12 pm. There is a restaurant in the village. The many bike and hiking trails characterize the area.

Our apartment is on the ground floor and can accommodate two vacation guests. It covers 41 m² and consists of a living room, dining area, bedroom with box spring bed (electrically adjustable), kitchen, bathroom with shower. The built-in kitchen is fully equipped with a coffee machine, oven-hob and fridge. Satellite TV and free Wi-Fi are also available. You can enjoy the beautifully landscaped garden undisturbed from your own 20 m² terrace.

Vacation apartment in the musicians' house

The builder of this house, Ludwig Jacob, moved like many Mackenbacher into the world to earn a living for his family with his music. In 1906 he was able to build this house in the style of the usual "musicians' houses" here. In 2014 we set up the apartment on one floor and are always happy to welcome guests from all over the world. We also speak English.
