Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Selce

Villa Ursa is located right in the heart of a small village. However a tall fence provides a sense of privacy. We visited at the beginning of June and there was almost no people in the village which for us was ideal as we enjoy peace and quiet above else (Lana informed us that during summer season it is a completely different story so have that in mind if you are visiting during July or August). You have a heated indoor pool and as the posting mentions a beach bar with a nice coastline just 10 min walk from the Villa (for us the sea was warm enough to swim in but a lot of people did not go into the water). Inside of the Villa looks modern and traditional at the same time which gives it a nice aesthetic. Lana was a kind host who welcomed us with a local wine bottle, freshly baked bread and a meat platter. We really enjoyed our stay and it is highly likely that we will visit again.

If you demand the finest, this house represents the pinnacle. The house is everything you see in the pictures and then some. You can feel the heart that has gone into restoring this house while preserving the soul of the architecture. The design and furnishings are luxurious and complements the house in a unique way. Even the little detailed touches and details are provided for, including toiletries, high-end bedding and towels. The kitchens are fully stacked: both inside and outside. While Istria has a lot of small coves and deserted beaches with cristal clear waters to offer, the decking beach in Moscenicka Draga is an exclusive way of experiencing the best of what Croatia has to offer from a beach perspective. Last but not least: Tanja and Oliver are top hosts. They are easy to communicate with, and does everything in their power to make sure, that your stay is truly a five-star experience. The house is just as beautiful as in the photos. We felt right at home. Everything is very clean, the landlord has always been available and the hot tub is cleaned regularly. Everything was great. 😊

Our family of four had a great week at Maya‘s guesthouse. We loved the private backyard with nice garden, heated pool and jacuzzi. The small house has everything we needed and there is a good outdoor kitchen as well. The beach is a few minutes away and at least in fall there are good chances that you have it for yourself. There are hiking trails to the secluded northern part of the island steps away from the house as well. The communication with Maja is easy and very friendly.

Accommodation a bit expensive, but I have to say very nice and in a great location, and amply balanced by the kindness and availability of Irena. Recommended

Marko was friendly and easy to communicate with. Apartment had everything we needed and was as described. Garden and Terence are nice to chill during day with great bbq.

Four of us (2 people/2 dogs) had a few nice days at Ivana's place. Everything was clean and we didn't lack anything. The hot tub was great and it was also a stone's throw to the sea in town. A few essentials to mention: there is no pool table as seen in the photos, but a foosball box (but is more for children/very easy), it was no problem for us. The streets are very narrow and not really accessible by bus, you should be able to drive!:) And it has free-roaming dogs there, which often made it very difficult for us to walk (large white dog 50 meters away). Unfortunately, there are renovation/construction work behind the house at the moment, noise-sensitive people couldn't find it that great. It was ok with us. Thank you for the stay, in fantastic weather and maybe we will come back sometime. :)

Felt like at home. Mountain fabulous views. Walkable to the nearby mountains. The place is a bit difficult to find but the host gave us exact google map co-ordinates to navigate. Flexible checkin and friendly. Prepared dinner and breakfast for us as the nearby shop was already closed. One of those few hosts whom we long to see again.

We felt very comfortable at Manuela's. The apartment is very lovingly and tastefully furnished. Manuela and Thomas greeted us very nicely and provided us with tips.

The six of us really enjoyed the stay in Matulji. Despite the fact that the garden is on the track, we have not been bothered by this. The train only comes a few times a day. The garden is beautifully maintained and the swimming pool was super nice. The spaces inside were a bit on the warm/oppressive side, due to the shutters. The facilities were great, the kitchen well equipped and sufficient barbecue tools. Good to know that the hosts live above the accommodation and have to give a lot of attention to the garden to maintain it well. As a result, we sometimes missed some privacy, because someone is regularly messing around in the garden while you are at the pool. If you are very concerned about your privacy, I recommend reconsidering this stay. Some of us thought the chat with the host a few times a day was very cozy. Josip was very friendly and super helpful.

Very good stay here, good location close to the beach, well-equipped! Irma is a great host, very friendly, responsive who gave us all the good tips around. I can only recommend the place!

Probably the most beautiful Airbnb I’ve stayed at for a very reasonable price! The balcony and terrace are stunning, such a magnificent view all over town. Everything was very reachable as well, it only takes 10 min to get to the city center. Plus there are a plenty of furry sweet buddy’s which join you along your way down the staircases (good training btw!) 10/10 really recommend! Ivan is also just a very helpful person and his parents are wonderful. It’s very rare nowadays to get a personal and warm welcome on this platform without a key box!

We spent our five nights in one of the wooden cabins and were able to enjoy the togetherness, nature and tranquility together with our dog. The outdoor kitchen had everything we needed to take care of us over the period. Miki was available to us at all times and was very helpful (picking up firewood, round recommendations, etc.) Her hospitable nature showed Miki and his partner above all by bringing us local apple juice from the neighboring village. All in all, a very successful stay to unwind and feel comfortable. We highly recommend this place.

I stayed 3 nights in the accommodation and felt very welcome right away! The host is very warm and helpful, everything is exactly as shown in the pictures and in the information. Very quiet area and ideal for nature lovers! I can also highly recommend taking a tour on the host's boat on the nearby lake. All around a great experience, thank you!

My partner and I were Miki's guests for only 2 nights but with great regret because the place was worth a longer stop. If you want a real dip in the nature and tranquility of a remote place but without sacrificing the comforts of accommodations and amenities (everything is very new and well functional) then it is the place for you! We thank our host Miki and his daughter for the attention to detail, the delicious hospitality they offered us, we will definitely be back!

Beautiful house, great view, lovely wood stove. Noisy neighbours: Bronsty deer😜. Nature is very close here. What a wonderful place to disconnect from civilization. Incidentally, great internet coverage (KPN). Being able to make beautiful walks from the house. We were able to charge our electric car for free in Skrad! (Elen network) The Ioniq 5 went smoothly across the forest and gravel paths to the house. Definitely recommend if you are looking for peace!
