Cosy Cottage in the mountains

The Troadkasten is an old granary, a traditionally built house, which we have lovingly transformed into a cozy chalet. The cottage is located directly on our organic mountain farm at 1100 m above sea level and can accommodate up to 6 people. Your retreat for a quiet break or starting point for hikes and excursions in the Almenland Nature Park in Styria. Dogs are welcome. Chickens, cats and farm dog Luna run freely around the farm.

In just 3 minutes on foot you can reach the center or the Hirschenkogel ski lift, which is why the apartment is ideally located for a ski and snowboarding vacation in winter, or a hiking vacation in summer.

This 100 year old wooden house is surrounded on 3 sides by forest and offers a wonderful view of the Rax. The south-facing, sunny view extends from the Rax to the Preiner Gschaid. The house has a heating with two Swedish stoves, which are able to heat the entire house. A modern kitchen with dishwasher, refrigerator (with freezer) and induction cooker completes the basic equipment. A wonderful place to relax and enjoy nature.

We rent out our cottage, built in 1928 and lovingly restored, which is located on our organic farm about 1 km from the idyllic mountain village of Gasen in Styria. Enjoy the quiet, decelerated atmosphere in our vintage cottage, ideal for 2 to maximum 4 people. Pets are welcome! Bed linens, hand towels and dish towels are provided, Wi-Fi, tourist tax, pellets (heating material) and all operating costs are included!

This cozy old apartment is located in the historic city center near the train station. Cheap parking is in the immediate vicinity. The apartment offers all the essential facilities and impresses with its quiet location with a large balcony in the green courtyard. Perfect spot for longer stays for education, health, etc., but also for excursions to skiing and other leisure activities in the beautiful surroundings.
