Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Seoul

The place was spacious, comfortable and modernly furnished. Home appliances look new and modern. Location is within short train ride to many tourist places. Owner is very responsive and even bought delicious bread on one of the days. Exterior may look a bit old but the interior is great and completely different and nice. We enjoyed our stay.

I honesty cannot express how incredible this home and the hosts were. The location was beautiful and peaceful. The hosts were more than incredible to us. They helped with suggestions, the taxi and even helped called a local supermarket to make sure they were open for us. They were also kind enough to let us grill in the patio which was the perfect way to end our stay. I cannot recommend this home enough and would love to return someday. Thank you so much for the amazing experience and welcoming us to your beautiful country!

Very clean, attractive hanok for an authentic Korean experience. Host is very helpful and included several local recommendations. Do know that two of the three bedrooms have traditional Korean floor bedding. It should be fine for most folks, but people with back issues should be aware. The neighborhood is charming and close to the subway system. Several sights are within walking distance. The hanok was comfortable and fairly priced. My family and I would stay again. Thank you!

집이 안락하고 청결해서 놀랐습니다 관리가 정말 잘 되어있는 곳이구나 느꼈습니다. 침실의 퀸사이즈 침대 2개가 하나는 폭신하고 하나는 하드해서 개인의 선호에 맞게 잘수 있어서 좋았네요 주차는 어려우니 참고 해주세요^^

I like the neighbourhood around Ava places. There are a 2 park and one of it is in front of GS25 also actually there is a a traditional market if near the house. The apartment is also near lotte mart and university, not so far from train station, bus station and airport bus. Imo cleaner really nice, she let me put our baggage when she still cleaning the place. The place is actually not as big as i thought but can handle 7 people. The washer and dryer are nice, I use it almost everyday. They are really nice to provide a sterilizer that I asked and also help me to buy a music toy for my baby through Coupang. The only thing that I don't like is their bathroom and toilet, its so narrow and the sink and shower are one pipe, so sometimes I would get splashed because I wanted to use the water in the sink but the water came out in the shower (if you know what I mean). Other than this, everything is good. Thank you Ava and Tony for your hospitality.

Host was awesome with quick responses - before and during our stay. The room was very clean and living room was spacious for our family of 4 with big luggages! Amenities are on point too.

I’m so glad we chose to stay at KJ and Paul’s place! The location is fantastic—just a short walk to the subway, surrounded by wonderful restaurants and cafes, and perfectly nestled in the heart of Bukchon Hanok Village. Staying here offers a truly unique experience, with Gyeongbokgung Palace and Insadong both nearby for easy exploring. The house itself is peaceful at night, and we slept so well thanks to the comfortable beds and cozy comforters. I really appreciated the little touches, like the filtered hot and cold water, and the overall cleanliness of the space. KJ and Paul went above and beyond with their local recommendations—we didn’t even have time to try them all! The home’s decor is another highlight. KJ clearly has an eye for design, and we loved the quirky, creative touches throughout the house. It made our stay feel extra special and memorable. All in all, this was a wonderful stay and I’d highly recommend to anyone looking for a unique and comfortable stay in Seoul!😊

Absolutely best host I've ever had. they're extremely patient and was always responsive no matter the time or issue. They give tons of recommendations for places to see too! The location is phenomenal with beautiful sights and nice cafes. The rooms were spacious and comfortable! The host also left some goodies for our arrival which was a huge plus! Definitely a wonderful place to stay ♥️

My parents and I had a wonderful stay at Brian’s place! The home was clean, cozy, and very thoughtfully decorated. Brian was an exceptional host. He is friendly, thoughtful and responsive and provided great local tips. I would recommend Brian’s place to anyone visiting the area!

とても綺麗で、最高のロケーションでした。お風呂が無いかと心配していましたが、問題なくシャワーを使うことができました。大きなソファーで充分に睡眠を取ることができました。素晴らしいローケーションをこの金額で過ごせたことに感謝しています。荷物のキープにも、応じてくれて、とても優しく素晴らしいホストです。

깨끗한 시설에서 편안하게 친구들과 잘 쉬다가 갑니다. 매우 만족합니다~~ 굿굿굿!!!

everything was perfect, and clean

Linda’s place was immaculate; it is incredibly clean and tidy and the amenities provided are perfect! The apartment itself feels comfortable and safe, and the other people in the building seem nice and quiet. The lovely guidebook to the apartment was particularly useful!! The surrounding neighbourhood also feels very safe and easily walkable, with a subway station on Line 2 a two minute walk away; lots of cafes and restaurants; the Han river park 10 minutes walk and the up and coming neighbourhood of Seongsu and Seoul Forest a further 15-20 minutes walk (or one stop subway ride)!! The floor to ceiling window is really what makes this apartment so inviting, with a lovely view and lots of light you really can feel right at home here!!

연식이 있는 펜션이였지만 들어가자마자 느껴지는 깔끔함에 너무 마음에 들었습니다. 침구상태도 좋았고 화장실도 깨끗하더라구요! 그리고 후기에 주인분들이 친절하다고 적혀있었는데 정말 친절하셨습니다 ㅎ ㅎ 요청사항도 바로 확인해서 피드백 해주시더라구요~ 룸에서 보이는 마운틴뷰도 넘 좋아서 봄 쯤에 다시와서 밖에서 바베큐 해먹으면 넘 좋을 것 같다는 생각을 했어요 ㅎㅎ 주인아주머니께서 성탄절이라고 산타클로스 모자도 쓰시고 ㅎㅎ 여튼 덕분에 즐거운 하루 잘 보내고 갑니다:)

문의에 대해 호스트께서 빠르게 피드백주신점, 공간이 조용하여 오랫동안 늦게 사용할 수 있었던 점 등이 좋았습니다.

저도 미술을 하고 일본에서 지내다와서 확실히 일본건축가의 느낌이 더 와닿았습니다 꼼꼼하고 조식도 챙겨주시고 감각좋으신 호스트님 덕에 잘 쉬었어요 ㅎㅎ 다음에 또 갈게요!

가족들과 함께 여행을 가면서 숙소를 예약했는데 부모님들도 만족해하시며 숙소에서 머무를때에도 편안하게 지낼수 있었어요! 독채로 사용이 가능하다보니 더욱 편안했고 아이도 숙소에서 머무는 시간동안에도 즐겁게 보낼 수 있었어요! 편리하게 이용이 가능하도록 설명이 잘 되어있으며 숙소가 매우 깨끗하여 너무 좋았습니다! 또한 집기류들도 다양하게 준비되어있으며 편리하게 사용이 가능하였습니다! 바베큐룸이 따로 있다보니 벌레 걱정없이 온가족이 즐겁게 식사도 가능하였습니다. 마당이나 2층 테라스같은 곳에서 티타임 하기에도 너무 좋았습니다~ 가족들과 함께 오시는 분들에게 강력 추천합니다! 덕분에 여행 잘 하고 잘 쉬었다 왔습니다! 감사합니다^^

숙소가 엄청 깨끗하고 한적해서 좋았습니다~! 세심한 정돈과 공간 하나하나 향도 다르게 좋고 신경쓰신게 느껴졌어요! 침실에서 보는 창밖 뷰 정말 좋았습니다👍🏻 겨울에도 와보고 싶어요!

경치가 예쁘고 아기침대, 젖병세척제, 젖병세척솔 전부 있어서 아이 데리고 오기 좋은 숙소였습니다. 앞마당도, 뒷마당 잔디도 정말 좋았어요! 다음에 또 오고싶습니다

진짜 너무좋습니다 뷰는 말도안대구여 공기도좋아요 프라이빗하게 친구들끼리놀러가서 좋앗구요 안에 이쁜식기며 모든게 다준비되어있어서좋앗습니다 따로 뭔갈챙겨갈 필요가없네요 바베큐.불멍 모든게 완벽하고 단체사진도찍을 이쁜공간도있구 재방문 각입니다ㅎㅎ

단체 모임으로 예약한 곳 중 최고의 시설이었습니다. 15명이서 방문했고 모두가 만족해하셔서 기분이 좋았습니다. 주차장은 넓고 단독 마당도 예쁩니다. 계곡이 코 앞에 있어서 계단을 타고 내려가면 됩니다. 물이 깨끗하고 시원합니다. 바베큐 시설도 잘 되어 있습니다. 수건은 요청하면 더 주실 것 같은데 계곡 가실거라면 따로 챙기시는 것도 좋겠습니다. 카페가 옆에 있어서 음료수도 주문하기 편하고 무엇보다 사장님이 미남이시고 친절하셔서 기분 좋게 단체 모임을 마칠 수 있었습니다 :)
