It is extremely easy to access year-round via car, has great views of Rocky Mountain National Park, and boasts all of the modern amenities to make you feel comfortable during your stay. What we lost from the seclusion of trees, we gained in 360 degree views of Kawuneeche Valley & Rocky Mountain National Park. The cabin is 10 minutes from the west entrance of Rocky Mountain National Park, 10 minutes from cross-country/snowshoeing/snowmobile trails, 2 minutes from mountain lakes (for boating, fishing, and skiing), 25 minutes from Ski Granby, and 40 minutes from Winter Park Ski. After enjoying the outdoors, return to a cozy fire or enjoy wildlife from the patios. Long driveway for multiple cars. Guests under 21 must be accompanied by family.

This charming A frame is so cozy! The living room, dining space and kitchen greet you right as you walk in. The house has a wonderful layout for families, with bathrooms on the main level and the walk out basement, and two living areas. There are large decks off the front and back of the house, adirondacks and picnic table allow taking in the gorgeous view and listening to the seasonal creek very comfortable. Two parking spaces and snowmobiles can be parked right off the road.

That Dam Cabin!

This historic 309-square foot cabin was built in 1932 for men working on the Shadow Mountain dam. When we found it, we knew this would be the perfect getaway. Our cabin is 4 miles from downtown Grand Lake! It's a short drive to restaurants, shops, hiking, fishing, the beach and kayak/boat rentals. Head to Rocky Mountain National park to hike and see wildlife or stay home and enjoy s'mores around the fire. On a clear night the stars are absolutely breathtaking!
