Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Shibuya

Kan is an incredible host and his place is lovely. The tiny home is filled with architectural details that create a beautiful and comfortable space. We were so grateful to Kan for making his tiny home a special place for us to spend our last leg of our honeymoon. The apartment is nestled in a quiet, residential neighborhood, which is ideal for taking a break from busy Tokyo. You’re near major transit lines and convenience stores, as well as a lovely park. Kan shared fantastic recommendations for breakfast and lunch nearby — and he was very accommodating to make our check in and out as seamless as possible. I’d happily return!

Wouw it couldn't be any better!! masa is such a nice guy and very welcoming! upon arriving we felt welcome, he explained everything and went his way. he had answers for every question we had and helped us to the best of his ability. upon arriving we gave him some Dutch gifts ( fridge magnet of a wooden shoe with tulips and a pack of stroopwafels) this shook him but he accepted it with a smile from ear to ear! the accommodation was clean and well taken care of, plenty of room for 2 people and really close to Ebara-machi station, which we used the most to get around. friendly people around Ota and the 7-11 around the corner is also very helpful! next time we are planning to stay longer! Domo arigato gozaimasu masa-san!

I now understand why it is so popular! Adults can also enjoy it together, and it is always exciting and never boring. Everything around the kitchen is also available, and there is nothing lacking. I was able to meet the host, and I want to go to the other two buildings ((o (｡> ω <｡) o))

Maiko's room was used for one night with a friend's family for lessons, as the children's recital was along the Keio Line and would take until late at night.😊 It was my first time staying in Sasazuka, but I thought it was a very convenient town with many restaurants, clothing stores, and miscellaneous goods stores in front of the station. There are both trendy and old-fashioned shops, and I got the impression that it is a great place to live. The neighborhood near the house is quiet and calm, and I was able to stay as if I lived in this town. Children tend to get excited when they are in an environment that is different from their usual surroundings, but the house was simple and very beautiful, so I was glad that we were able to relax before the recital! I had to bring a toothbrush and cosmetics, but I was able to stay with minimal luggage because I had everything I needed, such as shampoo and towels. It was also helpful that there was a convenience store and supermarket near the house.✨ Thanks😊

Yasu was the most thoughtful host! He kindly came to pick us up from the station and was so helpful with recommendations and information. There are adult bikes available to use. When we asked Yasu, where we could rent a bike for our 6 year old, he bought one for him! Our son was over the moon and loved cycling around. We explored many parks, and we didn’t cover all of them. I can highly recommend the Traffic Park, for kids. They have bikes and go-carts for the kids(for free). The house is really lovely, spacious and comfortable. Our son, had the room downstairs. He loved the mini foosball table, and having a huge room all to himself. There were welcome snacks and the fridge was packed with food and fruit! The location was also terrific for getting around. We loved it here, and would definitely come back again!

I honestly don’t know where to begin. Staying in Keiko’s home was truly one of the greatest honors of our time in Japan—it was a highlight of the entire trip. From the moment we walked through her door, we were immersed in Japanese culture. Keiko greeted us with warmth and kindness, making us feel immediately at home. She patiently guided us through everything, showing us how to use her space with care and respect. Her home is a reflection of her spirit—graceful, serene, and full of beauty. I was deeply moved and inspired by her presence and generosity. Being invited to take part in her traditional Japanese tea ceremony was an experience I will never forget. She took the time to teach us the rituals and meaning behind each step, explaining everything with such clarity and heart. She dressed us in beautiful kimonos, carefully helping us put them on the correct way. Drinking matcha that was pure and fresh—words fail me. It was unlike anything I’ve ever tasted. Koji and Nami went above and beyond to accommodate us - especially as I had a bad knee, they were very flexible with making sure I was okay. They had great recommendations of where to eat and shop and were extremely responsive. The house was spotless and very comfortable in a convenient location. if i come back to tokyo, i will definitely stay here. Koji and Nami are sincere, genuine, and kind people. The perfect hosts.

Chika’s place is so nice and clean, it’s the best little cute house ever, cozy warm and full of love. We enjoyed all the little details of this house! It locates at a very quiet little street, surrounded by a lovely neighborhood walking distance to MTR and convenient stores. My family really had great time here, my kids loved it so much! Definitely feeling like my home@Tokyo, and lastly I am very appreciated for gift and the hand-written warm greeting from Chika!

This apartment is well located and Ikebukuro is a great base. We enjoyed our stay here. The apartment is spacious by Japanese and the balcony and rooftop a special bonus. Note the two single beds as we would have preferred an option.

The place was so perfect. Easy walk to the train station and many 24 hour convince stores near by. There are a lot of lil stairs so don’t have a lot of baggage. The place is so an accommodating with literally everything and more that you could need for a stay including water, beer, and snacks on arrival. Easy and very quick to communicate. Really a wonderful stay.

I had a great stay at Rintaro’s place and would definitely recommend it to others. Some thoughts: 1. Location clarification: The initial map shown on Airbnb doesn’t match the exact location—it’s not right at Shibuya Station. However, Rintaro clearly explains this before confirming the booking, so there are no surprises. 2. Convenient access: The apartment is close to Sangenjaya Station, which offers great access to many key areas in Tokyo within 20–30 minutes. There’s also a nice grocery store nearby, which was super convenient. 3. Authentic Airbnb feel: This isn’t a hotel—and that’s a good thing. It really feels like staying in someone’s thoughtfully cared-for home. The place is clean and well-maintained, and you don’t have to worry about any of the unpleasant surprises you might find elsewhere. 4. Thoughtful touches: Rintaro kindly let us drop off our luggage before check-in, which was a lifesaver on a rainy day. He’s also mailing back a personal item I accidentally left beh

The apartment is very spacious and clean! There is lots of closet space and places to lay out luggage without ever feeling cramped. The view from the bedroom window is spectacular at night, just a beautiful view of the Tokyo Tower. The appliances worked great especially the on-demand water heater, the super auto heat function on the microwave and the Dyson hair dryer! The shower room heater/room dryer dried our clothes and the room super fast. Walkable to a convenient store, grocery store, and good restaurants. The neighborhood is truly silent at night yet convenient to multiple train lines. Excellent stay❣️

Nobu's place is in a beautiful location in Shibuya, a short walk to excellent cafes, wine bars and a small supermarket. Also an easy walk to heart of Shibuya and transport links to other areas of Tokyo. The apartment is spotless, really comfortable with natural light and everything needed for a comfortable stay. Highly recommend.

I was able to stay cleanly and comfortably. I'd like to use it again if I go to Tokyo next time.

Highly recommend!! Great location, walking distance to Shibuya crossing. The host had fantastic communication and responded within minutes each time. Also a bonus that an instruction manual with pictures was sent for how to get to the place and how to check in.

Good room with a nice shower. Everything you need to discover Tokyo (Shinjuku). The host is also a nice man and communicates well.

I had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The clear instructions provided made check-in a breeze, and I was welcomed by a friendly staff member who kindly assisted me with my luggage. The place was impeccably clean, equipped with all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. It was pleasantly quiet, and just a 5-minute walk to the subway station.

Host was very responsive, and listing matched descriptions and pictures in the listing. The unit is 3 min walk from train station, which is really convenient. Host explained how to use all appliances. Quick response from host whenever we ask any questions. Would highly recommend this place!!

Superb stay in Shimokitazawa. We really loved the area (enough going on but not as mental as Shibuya). The apartment was a great base for a few days and the tub was a bonus. Thanks, would stay again ⭐️
