Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Sicily

Der Aufenthalt bei Lory war sehr schön, die Kommunikation im Vorfeld war schnell und unkompliziert. Die Wohnung, als auch die Lage sind wunderschön, man hat seine Ruhe und ist schnell mit dem Roller oder Bus in der Stadt und die Aussicht auf der Terrasse ist wie auf den Fotos! Wir haben von Lory gute Tipps für Restaurants, Rollervermietung und sehenswerte Orte auf der Insel bekommen. Alles in allem war es ein toller Urlaub und können die Wohnung nur weiterempfehlen!

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour chez Filippo. Son appartement a un charme très authentique, la terrasse a une vue époustouflante, et nous avons pu faire de délicieuses citronnades et pasta al limone avec les citrons de son jardin! Filippo nous a aussi donné de très bons conseils, comme celui d’aller voir la Caletta Sant’Elia a 15 mns en voiture. Une vraie et belle découverte ! Merci encore à lui!

Great terraces with view of the sea. Not a lot of restaurants to walk to. Place was very clean and furnished well. The kitchen was well stocked and we were able to make several dinners there with no problem. We went during shoulder season so the area was very quiet. I’m sure it’s busier during the summer.

Das Ferienhaus von Francesco ist toll am Hang des Ätna gelegen mit Terrassenblick nach Nord-Osten. Von der Terrasse genießt man einen schönen Blick über die Weinfelder und ins Tal von Linguaglossa. Man kann dort wirklich seine Ruhe genießen und es gibt zwei Restaurants, die in Fußnähe sind. Ein Mietwagen ist dennoch zu empfehlen um die tolle Umgebung (Ausflug zum Ätna - 16km, Strand südlich von Naxos - ca 20km, Taormina (große Empfehlung) - ca 30km, Schlucht von Alcantara - ca 20km und und und) ausgiebig zu erkunden. Alles in allem ein sehr schönes Ferienhaus für bis zu 4 Personen mit toller ruhiger Lage und phantastischer Aussicht. Wir kommen gerne wieder

We stayed for four weeks in march. We had a great time, we fell in love with the place and their lovely dog Fiocco who is very sweet, also to children. Therèse and Viviana were very kind and helpful when we had questions. The house is situated in the middle of a large lemon grove and a daily stroll to the sea (it's a pebble beach) is greatly recommended. The nearby village San Stefano di Camastra is great for an ice cream and a coffee. We expected more hikes to be near, as it is located right next to Nebrodi but finding and reaching hotspots (hiking or otherwise) was ultimately harder than expected. We encountered this across Sicily though and is not related to the house itself. Our children loved to roam around the premises and find their own little adventures. All in all, we had a great relaxed stay and felt in tune with rural Sicily.

Marion’s place was absolutely beautiful, the pictures didn’t do the listing justice!! The place had views which were amazing to enjoy all day long and of an evening when everything is lit up. Marion was super helpful and responsive for any local recommendations and places to visit out of the town - thank you again!!!

Marcellos Unterkunft ist der Wahnsinn! 🙂 er ist die Seele der Unterkunft, die sie zu dem macht, was sie ist. Er ist sehr herzlich, hilfsbereit und rücksichtsvoll. Wir haben tolle Tipps bekommen und uns immer perfekt aufgehoben gefühlt. Ab dem vorletzten Tag konnten wir die tolle Plattform für den direkten Zugang zum Meer nutzen. :) Der Zugang zum Meer führt ca 200-250? durch den liebevollen eigenen Garten von Marcello. Es gibt einen eigenen Parkplatz, der durch 2 Tore erreicht werden kann. Alles in der Unterkunft ist sauber und gepflegt gewesen und es gab sehr viel Details.

Wir waren sehr begeistert von der Unterkunft und den schönen Ausblick den man hatte. Wenn man einen Ort zum entspannen sucht, kann ich die Unterkunft nur weiterempfehlen, da sie ruhig gelegen ist und trotzdem gut erreichbar mit dem Auto. Zum Meer sind es etwa 20min Fußweg, dort kann man wegen den Steinen zwar nicht schwimmen aber einen wunderschönen Sonnenuntergang anschauen. Direkt beim Check-In konnte man sich wie zuhause fühlen, da die Wohnung sehr sauber war und alles nötige zum Leben beinhaltet. Die Kommunikation war auch mehr als perfekt, der Check-In sowie Check-Out hat prima funktioniert. Für Fragen stand sie immer zur Seite und hat sehr schnell geantwortet.

Wow, Carmela’s place is just stunning. We only stayed for 3 nights and wish we stayed longer. Taormina is a beautiful town - photos do not do it justice. Carmela’s house is an absolute treasure in the perfect location with amazing views. It felt like our own private oasis

This is by far the best Airbnb I've stayed in! it is beautifully decorated, clean, spacious, and well located. Maddalena is a great hostess. She was flexible about storing our luggage, provided a list of good restaurants and cafes, and even made us dinner reservations when I was unable to get a table online. I highly recommend Maddalena's home. I only wish we had booked more days there!!

Wow! From the moment we arrived Francesco and Cynthia made us feel welcome, at home and we left feeling like part of their family. The house is absolutely beautiful and we had a wonderful, private section with everything we needed - including a lovely outdoor shower, table and chairs. The private pool was perfect for a dip after our day trip to Palermo. It’s just a few minutes walk to the beautiful Mondello beach, and lots of bars and restaurants. They responded to every request immediately - even driving to the supermarket to buy us bottles of water! Cynthia even wrote a plan for us when visiting Palermo - which we used and worked perfectly. We’ll remember this holiday forever because we got engaged on the trip. But also because we met such wonderful people and stayed in such a beautiful home - thank you Francesco and Cynthia! As promised, we will definitely be back one day ❤️

Nous avons été très bien accueilli par les parents de Gaspard (qui semblent vivre au RDC). L’appartement est parfaitement "isolé" du RDC, dispose d’une belle terrasse couverte (avec Barbecue), ainsi qu’une partie ensolleillée (1 ou 2 transat serait une excellente idéeGaspard 😉). Le logement était nickel en terme de propreté, assez bien équipé, même si la cafetière italienne était juste un peu petite pour le gros buveur de café que je suis. Sinon, 3 petits point négatifs, eau non potable (mais 4 Litres d’eau nous attendais dans le frigo), bruit du frigo situé à côté du lit (qui complique l’endormissement), et enfin centre ville trop loin à pied (mais il y a un réseau de bus, et des parkings pour voiture à disposition proche du centre ville)... In fine le logement et l’hote méritent allègrement un 5/5.

A very artistic studio located in the heart of Catania, easily accessible by car. The space is situated within a residential building (note: no elevator), but it's safe and secure—we had no issues during our stay. The host was incredibly accommodating and highly responsive.

We hebben 2 fijne dagen gehad. Het huis was schoon, ruim en overzichtelijk. Heerlijke douche, fijn bed en airco. Het dakterras is fenomenaal. Prachtig uitzicht op het kasteel, de stad en de Etna. In de omgeving is alles beloopbaar. Winkels, cafés, restaurants. Het was een heel fijn verblijf.

The apartment is very well located. We spent one whole day only in Catania and the other 2 days, we took day trips. The apartment was perfect: close to basically everything (even the Museo dello Sbarco is only one subway station away). We had an issue with the AC as it wasn’t functioning and Salvatore came by to fix it even though it was late. We are a family of 4 and we weren’t on top of each other. The apartment was very clean and well equipped. Nice water pressure which is not always the case in Sicily. The elevator is of course a big plus. The restaurant across the street serves delicious pizzas. Lots of choices for ice creams and granita in the neighborhood: we didn’t manage to try them all:) Bellini’s museum and family home is not far and worth the visit.

Incantevole luogo, come in un film. Torneremo sicuramente a “casa” perché è questa la sensazione di un luogo familiare. Grazie per la condivisione del rifugio

Prachtige locatie midden in de natuur tussen de wijngaarden en olijfbomen. Heerlijke plek om tot rust te komen, buiten te BBQen, en omliggende omgeving te bezoeken incl Etna. Enige nadeel is de smalle weg ernaar toe. Met een Skodia Fabia (relatief breed) is het ons gelukt, maar wel bedoeld voor de goede autorijder. Anders eind van het pad te parkeren mogelijk. Wat ons betreft meer dan waard en een aanrader!!

Wir hatten eine wirklich schöne Zeit in der Fuchshütte. Sie befindet sich an einem abgelegenen Ort in den Bergen, man kann vom Haus aus Rehe beobachten und tolle Wanderungen machen. Im Sommer ist es dort oben deutlich kühler und man kann die Ruhe sehr genießen. Bei Regenwetter gibt es allerdings nicht viel zu tun. Alessandra war eine total nette Gastgeberin und hat uns sehr freundlich empfangen. Wir waren sehr zufrieden!

Beautifulll quiet area and very private. Surrounded by fruitteelt, the awesome pool, very well working airconditioning, Noemi's father taking care of the pool and the cats and so on. You can't get better value for your money! Someone wrote there was no airco in the bedroom and no curtains in a review. That's not True! Everything was there and more! You won't regret renting this house.

Consiglio di cuore lo chalet di Antonino! Accoglienza e pulizia dell'appartamento ottima. Lo chalet appare esattamente come in foto: molto carino e ben curato. Il proprietario, ci ha accolto con molta flessibilità ed è sempre stato super disponibile e presente durante tutto il soggiorno. La vista è pazzesca. Anche se non c'è l'aria condizionata, ci sono stati comunque forniti da Antonino due ventilatori. Lo chalet è situato a pochissimi min di auto dalla spiaggia di Bovo Marina, molto ampia e con possibilità di parcheggio. Nel complesso ci siamo trovati benissimo e siamo rimasti veramente soddisfatti della nostra vacanza.

Ci siamo trovati benissimo, la casa deliziosa è anche l’esterno ampio. Un luogo dove regna la pace e la tranquillità. Luigi ha saputo darci ottimi consigli su dove mangiare nei dintorni. Spero di tornare presto!

Parfait, très bon séjour très bien situé. Fabio est actif répond très vite à tous vos demandes. La piscine est impeccable et très propre. Maison est située très proche de plusieurs villes ainsi que de la mer. Parfait, séjour chez Fabio . Je reviendrai

Netter, herzlicher Empfang von Fabrizio. Der Ofen war schon an (es war Winter). Es gab selbstgemachten Kuchen, Wein und kleine Leckereien. Fabrizio war sehr nett und hat uns alles erklärt. Die Unterkunft war sehr gemütlich. Wir dachten, dass die Wohnung über zwei Etagen geht. Hatten aber nur die untere Etage gebucht. Es sind zwei Wohnungen. Eine oben, eine unten. Die Sicht auf den Etna war atemberaubend und auch die Sicht aufs Meer. Guter Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen. Fabrizio war immer erreichbar. Wir haben auch in seinem laden eingekauft und wurden gut beraten. Insgesamt ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt!
