There were many good things about this apartment, and one aspect that could be improved. First, the communication with the host was excellent. Really top notch. Also they worked with us to be able to drop our luggage off while it was being cleaned. Second, the location is PERFECT. For exploring the old town and the lake. The place was very clean, with comfortable beds and good showers, and an excellent kitchen . The views from the kitchen area and roof top were outstanding. And check out was at 12, which enabled us to have a nuce breakfast and walk near the lake So mist things were overwhelmingly positive. The only aspect that was disappointing was the lack of furniture- just the bare minimum. Full night stands next to the beds would have been nice. Or perhaps a couple of chairs along with the small couch where the tv was located. There are absolutely no decorations anywhere. But in all other ways it was excellent- hence the 5 stars.

The apartment was amazing and the views beyond breathtaking with views of the falls from all three bedrooms and the kitchen. Lauterbrunnen was a great choice for our basecamp to visit the surrounding towns. For those wondering if you should take the train or rent a car, we were so thankful that we decided to rent a car. We weren’t bound to transportation schedules and was able to explore, but took the train to the towns like Mürren where cars are not allowed. And the apartment has a garage! Richard was kind enough to let us keep the car parked after check out so we could explore the area some more. One thing to note, the apartment is on the second floor so if you have a lot of luggages like we did, it may be a struggle. We will definitely be back!

We had a lovely stay at this charming terrace house! While the place is on the smaller side, it still comfortably fit our family of four and had everything we needed. It was clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully equipped — the full set of cooking amenities made it easy for us to prepare meals during our stay. It did get quite warm during the summer, especially without air conditioning, but thankfully, the hosts provided several fans which helped keep things manageable. Overall a great place that I would definitely recommend!

The most perfect stay. This truly a unique place, all of the beauty of Lake Como, but without the crowds; amazing views from a huge private balcony. We had a wonderful stay! The apartment was clean, cozy, and in a great location—perfect for exploring the area. 10 minutes walk to town centre, supermarkets and First cable car. 10 minutes drive to Eiger gondola. Communication was smooth, and check-in was hassle-free. Everything was thoughtfully prepared, and we really appreciated the comfort after long days out. One suggestion: having a washer and dryer would be especially helpful, especially during wet weather. Otherwise, everything was excellent.

Quiet accommodation on the ground floor in a country village with wooden peasant houses, typical of the region. In the center of the village, we bought cheeses from the dairy cooperative (the manager speaks French). We enjoyed having breakfast and dinner in front of the house.

Nothing short of amazing! It was an absolute delight to stay at Steffi’s place for our 2nd year anniversary celebration and we were greeted by not just a friendly and cheerful host personally at the door but probably the most stunning view of any Airbnb we’ve stayed in! Steffi herself to the time to meet us, give us some very nice tips which added that much more to our experience of the area. The apartment was clean and everything was catered to so you had the feeling you were pampered all the time. Even though there is a bus connection, we were fortunate to be able to get there by car which made the place very accessible to us and helped us visit Bern and other cities quite easily. Although, a great hike is only a stone’s throw away with some wonderful trails already starting as you step out the door. We would give Steffi more than 5 stars if we could and would be more than happy to recommend her place! :)

Really pleasant stay👍👍 The apartment (yes, not just a room) located in the very quite place, with fantastic view. The landlord prepared everything, cafe capsules, tea bag, cooking pans ,cutlery, dishes etc We stayed 4 nights, landlord never disturb us, but they respond your message quick, the only thing I have to say is we really really enjoy our time, highly recommend!

Unfortunately, we only stayed a few hours in the house of Adina and her family. We went back to the Netherlands by car the same evening because young children could sleep in the car. The house was a very nice stopover where we could really relax. It is equipped with all comforts, a spacious beautiful garden and beautiful views! The children enjoyed playing in the garden. Adina and her husband are very hospitable, thank you again for the delicious wine! See you soon!

Ciao Daniela, what a dream it was to stay at your place! I already can't wait to come back. The room was fabulously decorated, more spacious than the pictures. super clean and well-though out space. Felt super private but in the warmth of someone else's environment. The setting on your farm is unbelievable beautiful. The chickens, cats and dogs - all added to the experience. What a beautiful and serene place - like something out of a fairy tale. This is what AIR BNB used to be about, staying with a host (who is welcoming and proactive like yourself) and you have a real authentic experience of staying in someone's home. You even invited me to pick berries from your farm. Thank you so much for everything. This was not just a stay - this is an experience!

Everything was great, the apartment is very nice and it was very clean. It has beautiful views and a beautiful garden. The truth is that there is nothing wrong. Everything was adequate and as described in the ad.

Stayed for a week in May with our 3 teenage kids, the whole family enjoyed the breathtaking views, the traditional Swiss feel, lots of local adventures We will all miss the sounds of the cow bells 😍 already planning a winter trip back, Nicole was a wonderful host and we couldn’t have wished for more

A great, cozy apartment, with everything you need to feel comfortable quickly. It is very cozy, you look into the countryside, the creek rustles. Our two teenagers loved it too. Fabrizio is a very warm and open host with tips and good information. From our point of view, almost an insider tip if you are looking for nature and still want to shop quickly by bus or stroll through Locarno.

We had a wonderful time at the Bijouhaus (2 adults, 4 children). The Bijouhaus was clean, fresh, bright and immediately created a feel-good atmosphere for us. Many leisure activities are quickly and easily accessible by car. The best strawberries of all time are available in the farm shop (5 minutes walking distance) :) Andrea responded quickly and personally to concerns and questions. Thank you for the wonderful time, we can highly recommend the Bijouhaus...

The accommodation is spacious, super clean and the local pizza place is a gem. Luca is a fantastic host who is extremely friendly and goed the extra mile with local recommendations. Just a fantastic place!!

Our family had a great stay at Tina’s place. The home was clean, well-maintained, and felt very safe. All the necessary amenities were provided, including fresh towels, clean bed sheets, and linens. My daughter especially loved the cozy bunk bed—it was a big hit! We would definitely recommend Tina’s place to anyone who doesn’t mind a short bus ride from the main station.

Jana is a friendly host. Very helpful and outgoing. We felt at ease. The apartment is very clean and spacious. We were allowed to use the sauna for a small fee. Highly recommendable.

Our family of 5 used Nicole's place in Unterterzen as a home base to visit Switzerland. The apartment was clean, larger than we expected based on the pictures and description, and easily walkable to the train station and grocery store. The kitchen was very well appointed compared to other Airbnb's. The lake and surroundings are grogeous, with easily walkable paths and is close to the Gondola up to Flumersberg and the ferry to other cities around the lake. Everything at the apartment was operational and instructions from Nicole for checkin / checkout were very clear. Nicole was responsive to any questions and needs. We very much enjoyed our stay in Unterterzen and had many memorable experiences we will carry for the rest of our lives.

Enrica (AKA Kikka) is a delightful woman who cares about her guests and does everything to make them feel at home. She responded very quickly to any of our questions and needs. She had great suggestions for restaurants, activities and site seeing outings, all listed in an informative book on the kitchen table. The view from the room is magical, almost beyond description, as you look out on to Lake Como both day and especially night! My partner & I whole heartedly recommend you consider Enrica’s attic for you lodgings at Lake Como! Cameron June 2025

We had an incredible stay at Madlen’s apartment. We’ve been there multiple times and will definitely be returning. The location is fantastic, with easy access to the lifts and the apartment itself is in pristine condition, feeling spacious and inviting. We’ll be back again, thanks for a wonderful stay!
